With four of us staying we were concerned about the room size but it was ample for all of us. We requested an extra bed and still loads of space. Breakfast was great value, involved table service, and there were lots of options. They even accommodated off-menu requests. Dinner in Suttons was gorgeous, lots of different options and very tasty plus reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Given the scale of the hotel, some corridors were absolutely freezing which made for brisk returns from the leisure facility to our hotel room. While the hotel pool was huge, with lots of options for relaxation and well-tended, the tiles around the side of the pool looked unfortunately grubby which let the otherwise very impressive facility down somewhat.

I mistakenly didn’t included breakfast. I thought I had so when we went for it we were told we had to go t other restaurant. The menu was limited as expensive with no children’s options whatsoever! My daughter and I got porridge which was very watery so left behind and a slice of toast each - my husband got a fry and coffee. The total of €40. We were hungry an hour later. Very disappointed with the lack of choice, no kids options and the expense of what actually was available. We love to stay and it never disappoints but I feel this restaurant option is letting your fabulous family hotel down hugely

The staff were wonderful, they were thoughtful and helpful. The ladies from housekeeping arranged my daughters teddies very cutely on the bed. The staff in the breakfast room were helpful, on hand, and considerate of meeting the needs of children. The room was comfortable and pleasant. On one night during our stay, there was a debs ball in the ballroom and we only know because we saw them arrive, never heard anything. The main bar was separate to the ballroom also, so quiet drinks were still available. The leisure centre was lovely, great pool, great facilities, lovely and clean with complimentary towels for guests. It was what you would expect, every need met, every facility available. Tea and coffee in the room, as well as a fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We only turned on the telly to be nosey, not big into watching TV, good range of channels available.

The toilet was difficult to get to flush but did do a great job once you got it to work. The leisure centre hours for children were a bit restrictive, not before 9am, and not after 7pm, which meant no swim before breakfast and no swim after ours days outing. My kids were 10 and 11 and swim competitively, so that was a bit annoying. But my children would be an exception to the normal child guests so not unreasonable. The TV remote buttons were not well marked due to wear, and Netflix wasn't available that I could see. That would be a great addition.

It was a very nice hotel, lovely staff and it has more or less has everything you need in the building already. And theres vending machines incase u get hungry for a small snack. Very cool! its so big its like a maze😂 I kind of wished u could log into netflix or something on the tvs but its not that serious 🤷‍♀️

i got a few dirty looks from one staff member in particular, im not sure if it was on purpose but it seemed to happen everytime we crossed paths. Didnt really appreciate it too much but Im just gonna give the benefit of the doubt and say i was probably imagining it.. hopefully.

Loved location, size of family room, closeness to shopping center and public transport to Cork city center. Big thanks to reception personel for giving us great information on Halloween events in the city. Also hotel bar well stocked and opened late.

Perhaps that's normal in Ireland (?), but on the continent usually pool access isn't off-limits for children at certain times. I think 9-12:15 and 14-17:30 is very restrictive for families- especially if there only for one day. Also obligatory swimming cap policy not really friendly for visitors (I do understand logic behind it though).

The hotel was clean and the reception and leisure centre staff (the only staff we encountered during out stay as we didn't eat on-site) were polite and helpful. The room was large and very comfortable for our family of 4.

The property is huge, and from the moment of driving into the car park until we found our room we were often "lost". Signage is in short supply and with at least one set of lifts out of commission we often wandered before finding where we needed to be.

We loved the leisure centre, the cleanliness of the bedroom, and the location. There’s a McDonald's, KFC, Aldi, Dunnes Stores, and other shops very close to the hotel. You also have the option to buy something to eat if you get hungry during the night. I have chocolates waiting for me as a birthday gift from the hotel!

The breakfast system is table service, and it takes a while to get into the restaurant as you need to queue outside. Since the restaurant is always busy, there’s another wait before your food is served. The portions are generous, and the food is good. The complaint is mainly about the fact that we had to wait almost an hour between queuing and being served.

Dinner in the bar was my favourite the staff were so lovely fast service and delicious food. waitress with lovely long braid in her hair was jus so so lovely an helpful !!!!

My 10 yr old son didn't want to get changed with the women and got changed in the men's obviously a lot of men in their nude which cant be helped but very wrong for a child , i couldn't go in to guide him to a place with a curtain so he came back out haven seen a lot, once again no fault of the hotel but a lot of men not covering when a child was there , i was unsure if there's family changing rooms around I couldn't see personally. Other than that pool itself and staff perfect.

The hotel is very conveniently located with plenty of space to park. However, its time of glory and beauty was several years ago and now it merits redecoration and deep maintenance, what is happening now is causing some inconvenience and making some facilities unavailable (leisure centre with gym and swimming pool). In general, the staff is very friendly, nice and helpful, however, I experienced some issues with one.

Ongoing redecoration and the not available leisure centre did not lower the price! It was my second stay in the hotel and previously the receptionist had made mistakes in my invoice. This time, the same receptionist, blocked my room account so that I could not take bills from the hotel restaurant on my room. Moreover, somehow, she modified my payment so that it doubled the price for the accommodation during the checkout. One person and so much mess and loss of time. Must double check the final invoice!!!

We loved are stay at Rochestown park hotel every thing was very well laid out ! Staff were lovely to my hole family . We got there early check in for the room was 3 o’clock but we were offered to use restaurant or the pool while we were waiting for are room so we were all hungry so we got a bite to eat and all I can say was the food was amazing!! We also had breakfast booked with are stay and it was very well done it was buffet breakfast but we were brought to are table and it was table serves only but it was perfect no having to que with 3 kids !!breakfast was gorgeous aswel!!We definitely will be back !!
