Milltown House is certainly in a fantastic location! Seamus is adorable! Bed in our room was huge and very comfortable.
I sent several communications regarding our stay because I really wanted everything to be great for our family visiting from Norway. My emails and messages went ignored until just before we arrived when I received a response while having a coffee break in Tralee. My requests and a staff promise were not met, unfortunately, and the woman who greeted us seemed confused. It all turned out OK though. Staff were very preoccupied keeping a large group of Americans happy and we felt a little ignored or forgotten, i.e., not important enough.

We stayed two nights, one in one of the new chalets behind the hotel andf the other inside the hotel itself. We loved both, though it is more convenient to be inside the hotel during bad weather or if you'd like a drink from the bar. But the chalets were very tastefully designed, spacious, and private. We loved the wonderful service, especially from Bruna, who could not have been more gracious and accommodating. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Very friendly place—second time I've stayed here and will again, though it books up quickly.
It's a bit of a walk into town, especially if weather is not good, but as compensation you get the exercise and a great location on the water with spectacular views of Dingle. And the town itself has very few attractive places to stay. They apparently also run a shuttle service at certain times of the day, and, of course, they will call you a taxi.

Beautiful view of the sea and ideal location for starting the Slea Head Drive. Beautiful and welcoming interiors and the most comfortable beds. Loved the homey feeling especially with the resident Irish Wolfhound who is oh so friendly. Delicious breakfast with continental and hot options. Classy and cosy bar inside the house which is great for a drink after dinner or to chat with other guests. Very welcoming host/owner. Free parking in front. This is the perfect cosy, luxury getaway.
N/A but a recommendation. There is a falconery next door which would have been a fun activity to go to but it was fully booked online, we had only discovered it through the signage and pamphlets upon arrivial at Milltown House. It would be nice if some walk-in slots were reserved for people staying at the Guest House.

Breakfast was superb and the sunroom was a great setting to start the day. Plenty of options to choose from. My parents and I shared the family room and it was perfect for our stay. We loved how the location was just outside the busy town of Dingle, very quiet and relaxing, but just a short evening stroll into/back from town (about 20-25min) along the water. My dad and I loved the gin and tonic we had in the reading room, local distillery-supplied gin, made by our hostess. I left my iPad in the room and the staff was SUPER HELPFUL in arranging pick up by a courier. Very much appreciated. Can't wait to stop by Milltown House on my next visit to Ireland!

The room was very spacious, clean and facing the ocean. It was also very nice and warm, the owners don’t save the money on heating))) the bathroom was new, everything was working. Seamus the hound is just enormous but very friendly. He was trying to get some breakfast for himself from the tourists in the morning))) the property is conveniently located close to the Dingle distillery, so you can book a tour there and also in a walking distance from the town itself, so it was quiet at night. Overall we really enjoyed the stay
All good

The location is lovely - beautiful view of Dingle Bay and a short stroll 20 minute stroll into town - we enjoyed walking in and looking at the view. The staff we met were very friendly - the breakfast was decent
The bed wasn't very comfortable - springs in the bed and kind of soft mattress. It was manageable for one night ( slept on the edge of the bed as it was firmer!) but if I had to stay more than one night , I would have a problem with it.

Everyone at Milltown was extremely friendly and helpful. I loved sitting in my seaview room and watching the tide come in and out of the bay. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the Kingdom Falconry being right next door. What a wonderful experience! The bathrooms have been recently updated and modernized, which was a nice surprise. I loved being greeted everyday by Seamus the Irish wolfhound :)
They had a Nespresso machine, but I would have preferred a kettle in the room for tea.

Location - within walking distance to the town. The view from the room - stunning. The room itself - spacious, big comfortable bed. Very clean. Breakfast - fresh buffet choices, range of hot food. Staff was very friendly, happy to chat, and very polite. And of course the gentle giant, the big friendly dog that goes by the name Seamus. Unforgettable. Size of a horse.
Nothing! Would definitely visit again. Wanted to book an extra night but there were no vacancies (sad face).

My wife and I traveled all over Ireland on our summer vacation. We were really looking forward to visiting the Dingle Peninsula and staying at this famous hotel that hosted the likes of Robert Mitchum and Rick Steves. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two beautiful Irish wolfhounds. We may have stayed in the same room as one of them. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was simple, but offered Irish butter and cheeses made by those happy cows. The room was elegant and large. We had a bayview room which we really enjoyed. The bar is wonderful too, especially since your reservation comes with a free drink. The rooms throughout Milltown House are gorgeously furnished. The afternoon we arrived, the kitchen staff was cooking for the arrival of a tour group. It smelled amazing even though it was not for us. Sure, you are not in the heart of Dingle, but on the outskirts. However, for a short stay, it is worth it. It was only a fifteen minute walk into town.
Expensive, but it was worth it!

We booked the chalet and it was beautiful! It was brand new ( a year old apparently) but we felt like we were the first ones in there it was exceptionally clean and every detail was thought of. The breakfast service in the morning exceeded expectations and could not believe how good the cooked breakfast was. The host was lovely and so welcoming and we loved meeting the gorgeous Irish wolfhound! We would definitely book again! Thank you
