I found the bed very comfortable. I had been on the road driving for 6 hours and I was looking forward to a goodnight's rest. I got it, we only stayed for one night. Unfortunately we arrived very late in the night, they had finished serving dinner and we woke up very late, and as a result missed breakfast. So unfortunately I cannot comment on the meals. The reception also offered to print our boarding passes and that was very nice. I realised when I was at the airport, that I forgot my winter coat in the wardrobe of the room we stayed in. I called the hotel from the airport and they offered to post it to me and I paid for postage. I was very impressed by their transparency with the cost of postage, they sent me a scanned receipt of the postage and my receipt. Great service from Jessica and team.
The staff could be more friendly.

Stayed in the coutyard and the room was amazing my son especially loved the bath!
When we arrived on Sunday afternoon we did not receive a friendly check in from the girls at the desk! I know we were early however I work in a hotel and I know that some rooms are ready before check in time! They told me that we were far too early and and as a first impression this was really unprofessional! However they did ring a few mins later to say our rooms were ready so I do appreciate the early check in however the attitude was totally uncalled for!

I liked the peace, the wind blowing and the trees rustling, the garden was calming, it needs a bit of tlc but it still has a charm, it's a heaven for small birds and the bees loved the Allium Gladiator flowers. We didn't stay in the main house, we were in the courtyard (converted stables I guess). It was different, in a good way. We still got to experience the main house for breakfast, the dining area was quaint, for those who loved Bridgeton on Netflicks it was like dining in a set. There was a good selection to cater for any taste, I'm vegetarian, my other half isn't, we had plenty. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable, and there was a view of a smaller garden. The bathroom was large, with a shower/bath, toiletries were provided. The towels were bath size and ever so soft. Over all this place is a treat to the soul Aside from that Leixlip is a picturesque town, with nearby Maynooth offering a nice area to stroll around to, we visited the nearby Wonderful Barn and Connollys Folly. There is an estate within driving distance to walk by the Liffey. All in all, plenty for anyone, for those into shopping there are plenty of places for that too with Dublin and Dublin airport within 35mins of the hotel.
The room walls could do with a little paint, and extension of the hiding wall for the bins on the drive way out could be extended, maybe hedging to cover them, it's not a big deal or a deal breaker by any means but would just look better.

First room I got was in among family room, room was beautiful, noise of a crying toddler was shocking. But I got moved to a much quieter room, room wasn't as big but it suited me perfectly. Plenty of choice for breakfast whether you wanted hot or cold food and any staff I was dealing with were very nice and helpful.
There wasn't anything that I disliked about the room I was in. I like windows open when I sleep and the windows opened onto the back of the courtyard between some prefab buildings - that made me a little nervous for all of about 10 minutes and then I got over it as the night was so warm.

The manor and grounds were beautiful, and the included breakfast was excellent. I especially loved the pony outside as I missed my own at home! The staff also went above and beyond when I had an issue to report. My only recommendation would be a fridge - I have medication that needs chilling and this wasn’t possible.
Our original room was right next to a safety floodlight that was so bright that I couldn’t sleep. The staff kindly moved us to a wonderful room on the opposite side of the courtyard which totally resolved the issue.

Quiet location, no noise from traffic despite being so close to Dublin. A fine old building with very well renovated barns in the courtyard. Friendly ambience and staff quite helpful. Breakfast adequate for anyone's appetite. Room clean, bed comfy, shower had plenty of power.
It's hard to find fault as overall it was a great night, but just to note a couple of minor things, nothing serious but just food for thought for the owner's. We stayed in the courtyard rooms. The room itself was very clean, but the carpet in the hallway outside was a little grubby in places. It's hard to avoid considering you step from the yard straight into the hallway, but perhaps replacing with some darker carpet would be an idea. Also, there was a slight step or dip in the floorboard from our bathroom into the bedroom, which might want to be looked at as someone could engineer a mishap on it.

I was travelling on my own for work and paid an incredibly reasonable price. As a single user I often have to pay an additional supplement, this was not the case here. The room far exceeded the expectations that I had, for the price I paid. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Although the weather was bad when I arrived, the room was cosy and warm. Loved that there was a little kettle in the room. I have already recommended it to several colleagues.
This is entirely whimsical but I would have liked a better quality sachet of coffee, this is nit picking to say the least as the tea sachets were both Barrys and Lyons, but I love my coffee!

The staff were very helpful. The girl who checked us in and the bar man on in the evening were very nice. In particular the kitchen staff , 2 males from another country were very friendly and helpful. The staff who might have been Portuguese or Brazilian , came to wish us well as he finished his shift at 9pm. His service was excellent. That staff working in the hotel are what set this apart from other hotels. I would recommend this hotel because of the good staff working there.

I liked the cosy decor & warmth of the buildings and staff!
It is not evident until arrival that the driveway up to the hotel is a 400m steep hill surrounded by trees that overarch. As a solo female traveller, I felt it was unsafe to walk the 10 minutes into Leixlip town due to the isolated woodland and darkness. My room was compact and spotless, but located in a walled courtyard, a brief walk from the hotel itself, which I was unaware of when I booked.

We were staying in courtyard cottage. Surrounded by picturesque gardens. The room was super spacious, there even was a walk-in wardrobe. It was nice and warm. Bed was firm and pillow flat just the way i like it. The breakfast is in the main building and it was in a beautifully set room. The selection wasn't as broad as I'd seen in some other hotels but we didn't go hungry. We especially liked various cakes. There was daily cleaning, they made the beds, changed towels, took the bins out which was enough for our short 3-day stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Well, the cottage looked really tired and in need of tlc but let's just call it "charming" lol. Luckily we are not that picky lol. The water in the shower took aaaaaageees to warm up (had to run it for like 5 mins at least. What a waste of water) the toilet didn't flush that well and also took ages to fill up again. Soundproofing non existent, we could hear next door clearly. One of bedside table lamps didn't work. There is a road approx. 200 m that leads up to the hotel and goes uphill - might be an issue for some people arriving by foot (we like walking so we didn't mind too much)
