The hotel is situated in my home town and ideally central to near where my family live and is great for access to the Dublin mountains. The room itself was impeccably clean and fresh smelling, including the bathroom. The bed was firm but also very comfortable. The room was supplied with a kettle, complimentary tea bags, coffee milk and sugar. The room was also quite warm upon arrival without the heat being on but you can open the window for fresh air and there’s air conditioning which was fantastic for cooling the room at night which was perfect for getting a great nights sleep. Lovely views of the mountains from the room. The hotel was also very quiet. The staff were very friendly polite and courteous upon arrival and throughout my stay. And housekeeping staff did a great job servicing the room when needed. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel that serve breakfast and other meals, but Breakfast and other meals are NOT INCLUDED with your room and must be paid for separately. The hotel is also served by the Luas tram which goes into central Dublin from outside the hotel and there’s a decent sized shopping mall about 2 minutes walk containing a good variety of shops with various coffee shops and other eating and dining establishments.

I honestly didn’t find any fault with the hotel and this was my first time staying here.

The beds were really comfortable, the family room was really big and bright, everything was sparkling cleaned, the staff was really nice too. The car park had direct access to the hotel which was safe and private.

If you're looking for absolute silence just consider that there's a tram line just there, you hear it all day, not too loud but noticeable for sure. Also, some people were smoking literally by the side of the hotel main reception which meant when you walk in, you'd take in all the smoke, I was with a child when this happened and even showing my discomfort about it when walking through the door, the receptionist didn't touch the subject. The only other thing I didn't like was the room front doors, these would bang loud on your way out so every time someone in the same wing would open/close, it would bang and disturb your silence.

Free parking was included but the hotel needs to be more forceful about the arrival instructions, which I didn't bother to read. With most hotels, you can park out front, check in and dump your luggage, then figure out where to park the car. Google maps directed us to a spot across the tram lines on the wrong side of the building from the hotel lobby. The free parking was in a large garage complex in designated spots for the hotel.

Another bit of advice - don't trust Google maps in Ireland for routing choices. Google will put you on roads with unrealistically high speed limits, so the 'shortcut' takes longer and the driving is nerve wracking. We picked this hotel for its proximity to the Dublin airport, only about 30 minutes away on the M50. Unfortunately, the morning we left for the airport, the traffic on the M50 was worse, being rush hour. I can't blame Google Maps for this problem, but fortunately we had skipped breakfast and had lots of time to get there.

Check in was quick and fast, staff friendly especially Debbie. Room was clean and house keeping looked after us with towels and refreshments. Breakfast was good and very filling. Location great near everything and near the luas line.

The duvet on the bed was very thin and I found room bit cold. But that's my fault as I couldn't work it the heating. I had dinner in the bar, ordered steak. The Steak was well cooked but it was very basic, for the price I paid. It was one mushroom and few fried onions and bit sauce on the side with chips. The sauce was very poor. Also while eating the chefs kept looking out the window, very off putting tbh

Everything was great I travel a lot with my work so its important to be comfortable

Went for dinner ,asked if I could have a few chips instead of garlic bread I was told no ,,I'm a cheff myself couldn't understand it ,,it was a simple request, my son was having chips it would have not killed the the cheff to put an extra few chips on , He or she really need to cop on their there to cook for the customer. Otherwise everything was great will go back again

I love the location of the hotel right beside the Luas stop and shopping centre. My husband is a wheelchair user and it is very accessible. Also, as this is the first / last stop on the tram, it is always easy to get on and off which can be a real nightmare in busy town centre stops. Staff was friendly and room preheated to cozy temperature. The size of the room is quite large and easy to move around with a wheelchair too. Breakfast was very good and staff helpful with everything. Underground free parking is very convenient too!

Very happy with our stay, I have no complaints!

Very friendly food and bar staff. great service. Debbie, hospitality mgr. was one step beyond outstanding! I misplaced a tray of diabetic medications and she found me a Dr. that was able to replace meds for the duration of my stay. However, after returning from the chemist I found the meds in the only place I had not looked. The housekeeping staff were friendly and super efficient . Room always looked tip top.

Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. Vending machine with a good variety of treats and drinks, very reasonably priced. No corridor noise considering the hotel was full, huge bonus. Bed was super comfy.

Slght disappointment no water in the room and a glass i took from the bar wasn't taken on daily freshen up, was still in room when I checked out 4 days later. Hairdryer powerful but, heat settings didn't work, was always blowing cold air.

The reception staff were amazing! we had to check out a little later than usual and they offered to do an hour for free and if we needed more time only 20 euros. They were also very friendly and willing to help at all times and answered all of our silly questions with a smile. *It was very close to the hospital about a 7 min walk. * the laus was basically just outside of the hotel and a bus stop within 2 min or less walking distance. *shopping area within a short walking distance and close many restaurants. *The restaurant/bar served a nice selection of breakfast options all fresh and tasty. *although they don't have a shuttle service to the airport that is not a problem as airport hopper is just 2 min walk (they have dodgy timings though).

Absolutely nothing!

I love the staff they are very accommodating especially the girl on duty yesterday I forgot her name but it was about 3:30pm . She’s lovely and the best and very helpful and kind. The staff at the restaurant are impeccable and all amazing and they assisted us all the way on our sumptuous breakfast! The food was great! So delicious

There’s a tea bags in my trash can that I noticed when we arrived and need to fix the bath tub drain cover. But over all it’s all exquisite. Thank you Glashaus Hotel and God bless you! Till nextime 🤗✈️💕
