Breakfast was very nice, enjoyed all restaurant (Nelligans) meals. Fitness center was large and contained everything needed to get a good workout. Why do the monitors not work, though? Morning reception staff was exceptional, answered all questions and helped with calling for taxi service. Location was excellent - walking distance to Lidl and other shopping.

As mentioned, monitors in fitness center are not functional. While morning reception staff was excellent, those later in the day were not as friendly as I would expect someone representing the hotel should be. I avoided speaking with them.

The bathroom was a little shabby. There was a rubber seal hanging off the shower door. The paint was peeling off the bottom of the bathroom door. The window in the room was covered in hand and fingerprints and clearly hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. We booked a 3 night stay, there were only 3 teabags for the 2 of us. Might seem very small issues but nonetheless it isn't a cheap hotel. Some of the communal areas inside the hotel were in our opinion better kept than the room itself. We believe the rooms are being refurbished at the moment so that's maybe why but we were put in room 514 which is almost the furthest away from the reception area and the hotel wasn't by any means full.

The food was excellent and enjoyable. The room was very spacious as it was an executive double. The mattress was too firm to my liking but that did not interrupt my sleep. There were lovely spacious to sit and chat. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly and pleasant, especially Hannah, Siobhan.

For my daughter who was on the ground floor it would have been better if she had a room on the first floor, the same as us, as the revellers returning on the Saturday morning (early) were very noisy and she had a training day to go to.

Breakfast was very good, but there could be more salad/vegetables. I stayed at the separate apartment and it was very very comfortable. As for the dinner - difficult to say as I had it only once or twice during these two weeks I stayed there, but it was very good. Very stable and fast WiFi.

I received the friendliest and warmest of welcomes from Shauna on my late arrival. Room very clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was incredibly powerful, so much so that when turned on, the water shot out everywhere and forced shower head upwards. Unfortunately that led to water spraying everywhere in the bathroom. Perhaps the pressure could be eased a little. Bath towels were a little on the small side.

Whilst breakfast was fine with a good selection on offer, the hot food was not very hot. Staff were very helpful.

We were greeted by a lovely man at the front desk. We arrived at our room and it was more than we expected. We had a small kitchen off our room which was a lovely and unexpected addition. We went down for dinner and the staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was exceptional. The breakfast was self serving but cattered to all. I can't wait to stay again.

Very clean, love the homily feeling . Love the arm chairs where u can sit and have a chat outside ur room. Staff always smile and say hi which seems silly but we noticed and liked it.

€14 for breakfast was extremely expensive. For the price we paid I feel like it should be included but if not it definitely shouldn't be €14. We went out every morning to a cafe for breakfast cause honestly that's the same price as dinner.

Room is very roomy and had all that I needed. Not so much on other extra stuff that I probably won't use anyway. Surprised to get a very good night's sleep during the two nights I stayed. Lounge areas are homey, very charming and offer just enough quiet and privacy. I like it that breakfast is included in the price. The offerings are also healthy and choices are enough. I did not get to see the rest of the options as was in a hurry to leave but overall was happy with the breakfast. Thank you. Wish the shampoo and conditioner were better. Sink was just a wee bit clogged, nothing much to pose a problem. Bernie from the Reception was super helpful and accommodating, checkout was easy. Much appreciated. Thanks again, Bernie! Nothing that I don't like but some suggestions are given above.

The atmosphere is very charming: classic countriside cozyness ! In the hotel you can find a very warm pub/restaurant and also a very equipped gym! The fornt desk is always smiling and committed in aiding and providing solutions which has no cost !

Unfortunately the sign of the time is visible mainly in the rooms fornitures: I think some money should be invested in renewing the rooms.

It was close to the university; staff were great; it had been recently refurbished. USB sockets.

There is no sound-proofing. We had very raucous young guys making a lot of noise one night in the corridor which woke us up and kept us awake until they went away. The restaurant menu is limited.
