Lovely warm welcome on check in. Very well presented hotel; common areas are stylish and comfortable. Room was modern, clean and warm. Nice bathroom suite. Nice bedding and cushions in the room. Air conditioning which worked really well. Had bar food and was impressed with it and the staff. Very efficient service and lovely food. Bar was very warm with stove lit which added to the cosiness especially in winter. Excellent breakfast. Buffet but also order from the menu which is a really nice touch. Id highly recommend this hotel. One of the nicest I would say in Tralee. Would love to stay again.

I liked everything.

The rooms have been upgraded with a modern colour scheme since my last stay 2 years ago. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep! The breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet offering as well as hot breakfast options to order- including omelettes, pancakes and vegan and gluten free options. I had the vegan breakfast which was very tasty and very large (including vegan white pudding which was very good). My Mum had the traditional Irish breakfast and was very pleased with it!

The bathrooms have had a facelift, but not complete refits and the finish was a little disappointing (the bath for example wasn’t new and the edging around it looked tired).

Terrific staff approach to customers. Reception staff were prompt, efficient, courteous and helpful. Sorry I can't recall names but the tall blonde lady who was on check in was a ray of sunshine. In the bar area Pat was a gem as indeed were all the bar staff - cheerful and so obliging. Special mention to Hayley ( maybe Hailey?) who served our party on two occasions - she was a star. I'm sorry to say I did not catch the name of the waiter who is Nigerian. We had a brief conversation but I must applaud him for his work ethic and commitment - always on the move - always adding value to the area he was working - hats off to that man.

It can sound unfair as I fully realise that we all have likes and dislikes regarding food however any of the meals we ate whilst very well presented were somewhat bland. It's a tricky one - catering en-masse is never easy. However I think that the Meadowlands could improve this area.

Good location with parking on site. Beautiful little gardens and liked that we could have a drink/coffee/food in the conservatory and enjoy some sun. Room was spotless and very comfortable got a great nights sleep. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food menu at the bar and for breakfast, all cooked fresh and to order. I need to mention Geraldine at the reception, she is an absolute asset to this hotel, nothing was a problem, shes was very professional and pleasant at all times, she answered everyone’s queries and gave advice on where to visit and how to get there, she was equivalent to having a tourist information centre on site!

The Meadowlands Hotel is a sprawling, spacious place, with richly-decorated rooms and conference spaces. It's old but well-cared-for. It has plenty of on-site parking; while not in a garage, it's a safe and quiet area. There are some shops close by. It's on the edge of Tralee, and the Dingle Peninsula isn't far beyond. The rooms were very comfortable and air-conditioned. The breakfast was suitable, too. and includes both buffet-style and cooked-to-order options. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ross Castle isn't far away, and is well worth a visit!

The hotel's restaurant isn't the greatest for dinner, and the breakfast assortment wasn't as varied as some other continental buffets we saw in Ireland, but as noted, there were cooked options, too.

Location was great, hotel was very clean. Radiator warm for towels . Beds were so comfy , Good breakfast , lovely seating area outside. Lovely relaxing lounge areas.

You could hear tank or water filling everytime someone showered or flushed very annoying . Our toilet had no much of a flush you b flushing few times. Our cards were not activated when we used first had to return to desk and she blamed me for having cards in my fone even though it was only matter of goin up in lift and had card in my hand .

what a wonderful stay! We arrived after a long and tiresome day, and were warmly greeted by Helen from reception, who made us feel so welcome. Other members of staff were also welcoming, warm and efficient. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated. The public spaces are beautiful and comfortable. I had a minor health issue to see to, and can't be thankful enough to Helen, who took great concern and has done her best to help me. Many thanks! Highly recommended in every respect.

We arrived at this beautiful Boutique Hotel just after dark. We were met with spectacular Xmas scenes both outside and inside. Swift efficient check in by a very welcoming Receptionist. We got to our really large Room with big double beds. Really spacious Room as was the Bathroom with lovely fluffy towels Tea and coffee making facilities in abundance. We had dinner in the Bar and food was of very high quality. The staff everywhere were helpful and efficient too.Breakfast was both enjoyable with varied options. We had a lovely break in this lovely Hotel. Would highly recommend.

All was good

The room was simply excellent. The control for the Air conditioning was simple to understand and use. The beds were very comfortable and the TV was good. The atmosphere in the bar was superb and Bar manager Pat was wonderful in helping me organise a special surprise birthday party for a group of more than a dozen. Nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing. The hotel and staff are excellent. The food is excellent. The price is reasonable.

The staff were just amazing. We travelled with 3 small boys 6,4, and just under 2. We hadn't booked a table in the restaurant forgetting about the big irish rugby game. No tables left. The staff moved everything around to accommodate us and see the game. The food was incredible. But the staff made it for us. As busy as they were they totally took time to interact with 3 runner around kids and make us feel so at ease. I couldnt recommend Meadowlands enough. Absolutely top drawer. We can't wait to get back

Absolutely nothing to dislike. It's was homely and amazing. My kids were asking to return on the drive home. Exceptional. Take a bow
