The hotel was easy to find being close to the railway station via a pedestrian area (car parking available). The reception area was easily accessed, the staff pleasant and gave clear instructions as to accessing my room and meals. The room was big, had an en suite shower and a wardrobe that backed onto the shower wall and not my neighbours . I particularly liked the large bed, with a lightweight duvet and the collection of soft towels. The air conditioning was quiet and doors did not bang closed. This enabled a quiet relaxing environment. Requested service to attend to a couple of issues was prompt and satisfactory.

The room did not contain kettle or drink making facilities as this is accepted practice in Germany. There was some shelving and a few hangers for the wardrobe and the bedside tables were boxes with no drawers.

Ideally located between the city centre and the railway station; very close to both. The building is huge but the room was still very quiet. Nice rooms, good breakfast.

Two minor things (that did not ruin the overall experience): 1. The breakfast venue was so crowded (off-season!) that you had literally to hunt for free places and put up with sitting with strangers. 2. There are multiple ibis Hotels in the same huge building complex with different entrances and upon arrival it was not clear where to check in. Signage could be improved upon.

Great location directly opposite Hamburg Central Station, and lots of Christmas markets within easy walking distance. There was a nice view of Station area from our room. We had ordered a small room, so were pleasantly surprised to find that there was still space for 2 small bedside tables, and charging plugs on each side of the bed. Breakfast was good, although hot items were limited to boiled and scrambled eggs. Liked that there was fresh fruit salad - thanks. Breakfast was available from 6.30am which was helptful. Hotel staff were nice. If you're a fan of great bread rolls, try the bakery at the station. The soft bread pretzels with seeds were so delicious we went back for more.

The only thing we found annoying was not being able to fill our water bottles from the bathroom tap. The shower cubicle was tiny and we're not fans of shower curtains, especially in such a small space.

The hotel belongs to a chain, so you know what to expect. In Dresden, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is not too far from the railway station which makes it very convenient to reach by foot. There are quite a few shops, restaurants, and cafeterias nearby. The historical center is also not too far, maybe 15 minutes walk. The room was very clean and bright. It is also air-conditioned via a central ac. I stayed in Dresden during very hot summer days, but it was nicely fresh in my room. I liked that in the shower the hot water appeared immediately after turning it on, no need to wait for a few minutes :) The breakfast had plenty of options.

Around 8 am there is a breakfast rush hour, so it's becoming not too comfortable. Though it was okay both earlier and later. In the hotel's yard, there is a nice garden where the local kids gather to make noise in the evening. Though during my stay, they left every day around 9 pm.

Really good location, especially convenient for first time Dresden visitors. Right in the shopping street, walking distance from the main train station and to the old city, a lot of restaurants and stores, in the neighbourhood, The room is small but sufficient. English speaking and friendly stuff.

Downside is that it can be noisy. I did not stay in a room towards the street and my windows were shut the whole time, yet the music from the street was still quite loud in my room. For me it was alright, by the time I needed to sleep the music also stopped. If one simply needs a place super quiet, probably not this place.

Small boxy room, good window light, clean and modern. Friendly and helpful at reception. Well located to Flix bus park and train station, a longer walk to old Town.

No small hand towels so had to use bath towels which got damp for showering. Room quite small for luggage and getting round each side of bed but is the style of building.

Location couldn't be better. Short walk from main railway station, and in turn, a further (not quite so) short walk to the restored historic area. No shortage of places to eat nearby. As a fresh air fiend, very surprised (pleasantly so) to find that my 7th floor window opened fully, affording an unobstructed view. Those with vertigo might think differently. Terrific shower - very forceful - be careful!

On my booking, hotel referred to as "Ibis Centrum", but is composed of two separate blocks. Each is named, but neither of these is "Centrum". Anyway, when I convinced myself that this was the right place, I checked in in one, then walked a hundred metres or so to my block. A perfectly pleasant breakfast buffet was available in a set of hard to find rooms on the first floor - I found a few folk wandering around looking for the right place. And if thats the worst I can come up with by way of "what didn't you like?", I think they did fine.

What didn't I like would be easier to answer ..5 minute walk to hotel from station and met by very helpful and friendly staff who gave me all the information I needed and more ..Room was very comfortable and clean . Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and 10 minutes to the old town .. Highly recommend and didn't want to leave as Dresden is amazing city

Breakfast definately worth the money. Try the mini croissant, way better the in many other hotels. Towels and bedding fragrance free. Very clean and helpful staff. We had gotten the 3 day city passes for the price of one day pass, giving us the opportunity to take advantage of day time exiting city as well as the city of Meißen know from inventing porcelain in Europe and also do the Watchman's tour I can highly recommend if you speak German.

The two pillows where super flimsy, One of the two pillows should have a bit more substance. And the first day breakfast had Bread rolls ( Brötchen) that seem a day old and reconstituted by re baking than, leaving them a bit dry. Brötchens should be daily fresh, every day. However, the following days that had been fresh.

The location is the best. It’s close to train station and the city’s main attractions. The room is very quiet even we are right in the city center. And the comfy of the bed.

There was no water boiler or coffee or tee provided in the room. Compared to its price per night, i would expect a little bit more facility in the room
