Very nice location. Quiet and very near a metro station (7 min walk). Good breakfast. If you´re going by car, just pay atention that you must have a green sticker. You can buy it at specific authorized places like DEKRA, GTÜ, TÜV Nord and Süd and KÜS. It´s a sticker (permit) to enter the city of Munich.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. They provided hard and soft pillows which are perfect. Wifi in the room was fast. Air-conditioning in the room was strong. Toilet had ample sink counter space and the shower water pressure was strong. The hair dryer provided was top notch and very powerful. Location of the hotel was convenient. There is a covered walkway linking to the nearest S-bahn station.

I was disappointed that as a solo traveller I was given 2 single beds. I went back to the counter to let the hotel staff know I wanted a double bed but she told me it was only a request I've indicated and they do not have a room with a double bed available at the moment. After reading most of the reviews, I've concluded the hotel never had a standard room with double bed at all. The lift from the ground floor where the S-Bahn walkway is connected to the reception floor is out of order (probably out of order for a long time). So you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs or push it up a slope to the reception.

Convenient location.

The staff this round weren’t very helpful. Probably because there is a big conference happening so they all seem harassed . Took wasn’t too clean - there was a layer of dust on the shelves and the bathroom floor had soap scum which wasn’t very pleasant . Housekeeping was bad - they don’t replace coffee pods but kept removing my extra key card after they cleaned the room . Feedback to the Front desk didn’t help as it happened 3 times out of the seven days I was there - the other 3 I put a do not disturb on the whole day . The balance days - I actually had to put a please do not remove and spoke to housekeeping staff myself . A request to reception to replace tissues was not done . I was checking out the next day so didn’t bother to follow up .

The staff at front desk was nice. The location of hotel is near to S-Bahn where is convenient to travel anywhere even city outside. The breakfast was great and atmosphere was nice. It is worthy to come back again.

This hotel had so much more to offer than I even realized from the descriptions and pictures. The staff were so friendly, the lounge is massive and the dining room for breakfast is so much larger with a big variety of foods than pictures lead you to believe. It also wasn’t clear to me about public transportation, but the S-bahn is just a few minutes walking distance - down below the hotel and through an indoor shopping center, you get to the trains without leaving the building. 2 stops from Marienplatz, and a direct line to the airport. If you prefer a taxi, there are always several waiting right in front of the hotel. We booked an accessible room as I was recovering from surgery, and the spacious shower with a seat and handrails were just what I needed for the week. Have already recommended the Holiday Inn City Center to several friends and would definitely stay again.

These are very small issues, but worth noting if you are staying for any length of time; the fridge is extremely small, and they’ve even put something in the back half of the fridge so it ends up being half as deep as one would expect and no microwave. Our room was also pretty dark - only one lamp in the living room that we had to move to the bedroom area for light.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. One of the best features is the convenient access—you can exit the hotel directly into a mall, which is connected to a train station. This made it incredibly easy to move around and return without any hassle. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options and truly one of the best I’ve had.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center and overall had a pleasant experience. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The selection of hand wash and body wash provided was not up to standard. Additionally, I was surprised to find no complimentary water or slippers in the room, which are amenities I would typically expect in a hotel of this caliber. These small touches can make a significant difference in enhancing the guest experience.

the location of the hotel is excellent, the train is under the hotel where you find a little city there. you can go to the city with train ,only 2 stations or you can walk, it is near about 15 minutes walking,... the breakfast was amazing, you find there anything you can eat,.. the rooms are good, good bed, the pillows a little hard for me. the bathroom are good.

the cool/heater system you cannot change by yourself. I stayed there in May where you suppose has warm weather, so the system was programmed in cooler system by the hotel, but the weather outside was 8 C ., you need heat... but you have to ask to change the system, and that was not very easy....

Somewhat bleak exterior, but the room was very pleasant. Very clean, well decorated and seemingly recently so, with comfortable beds. A good lobby bar and a decent breakfast.

Breakfast room is a bit of a zoo - and the 'traffic lights' system to suggest quieter times to visit didn't correspond with my experience. Anything after 7am was very busy, quieter by 8.30. Holiday Inn signs coming out of Rosenheimer Platz metro suddenly disappeared and I found myself in a library. Had to double back and go outside the old mall before coming back in. Confusing!

Once at the hotel, everyone and everything was perfect. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Staff at the lobby bar were exceptionally courteous and they went above and beyond what we were expecting. Front desk personnel were really responsive, friendly, and helpful! I have no complaints about the property. I would definitely stay here if I have the opportunity.

A shuttle to Marienplatz would’ve been fantastic.

Breakfast was excellent with many choices and varieties, The room and bathroom/shower were of a good size. Location of the hotel was very close to the city center and there is a subway station (s-Bahn) just under the hotel (although the subway line closed for repairs a few days of our visit - not the hotels fault)

The staff was good but very busy at the desk. I asked for different pillows (softer) but never recieved them. The hallway carpets need cleaning/replacement - they were very dirty.
