A great location near the city center and the possibility of parking in the garage are definitely a plus. The staff at the reception do their job properly.

The maids are very quick when they need to warn you that you are five minutes late leaving the room, but three days is not enough for them to pick up other people's cigarette butts from the balcony. Regardless, we would come to that hotel again.

We loved the location, lots of greenery, quiet - but close to public transport and a 20min walk from the old town so we could see most of the sights on foot. Garage parking. Lift from the garage straight to the 4th floor was a big plus. Helpful and efficient staff. Nice breakfast selection. We loved the KettyBot robot in the breakfast room. :) Close to some good restaurants and a park. Spotless rooms, comfy beds, modern (albeit smallish) bathrooms. Complimetary drinks were a nice touch. Plenty of room in the family suite. We stayed for almost a week and would choose the hotel again.

Lovely traditional European hotel in a clean quiet area and 5 minute walk to Paulaner beer garden. Tram stop very close by to get to the S Bahn. Great breakfast with a good variety.

There was no closet to hang clothes

Great location close to tram (number 25) and also easily accessible to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn to get to the centre (or you can also walk about 20 min. to Marienplatz). A nice green park next to the hotel. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful and I would also highlight the delicious breakfast. Parking on the street next to the hotel (max. 11,50 Euro/day) or safely in the hotel garage (22?€). The single room was quite specious for 1 person. Only the bathrooms window looked a bit used but in overall very nice and bright bathroom.

The location is extremely quiet, something I value in cities. It's only 10 mins on foot to the S-Bahn on the route to the airport, so an excellent option for early morning flights. I left before breakfast started and the staff were very accommodating to ensure I had something to take with me.

The improvement I would appreciate is a thicker mattress. It is rather thin, BUT I did sleep well, so perhaps it's personal preference.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful directing us and suggesting good restaurants around. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The hotel has an underground parking on additional cost.

The room was a bit outdated but clean. The bathroom also needs an upgrade. We happened to get a room on the first floor overlooking the street. It had a great view towards the city centre, but blinding curtains could not hide the street lamp glow during the night.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I really appreciated the complimentary drinks in the minibar – a very hospitable touch. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

On the downside, the location isn't the most convenient, but it's still manageable. It's about a 15-minute walk to the München Ost train station, which is not bad at all. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend this hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel 5 hours before check in time, staff allowed us to deposit our bags in the reception area so we could go explore Munich. At check in time, unfortunately our room was slightly delayed being ready, so we were given complimentary drinks in the bar area which was a nice gesture. We have booked a King Room and we were surprised to be given a key to two room ( 411 / 410 ). Upon entering the room it was apparent that we had a large room which was actually 2 cojoined rooms. We had a living room / double bedroom / bathroom in room 411 , and by using the internal through door we had a separate single bedroom which also had a small office desk and TV. This side of the room also had its own separate shower and toilet. In both rooms, we had a free mini bar with some local beers and soft drinks ( fanta / coke ) and there were some German biscuits and Haribos. The view was lovely from room 411 as it overlooked a park area which was facing towards Munich centre. Having been really lucky with the snow fall it was very picturesque. Even though the weather was a times -13 , the rooms were very well heated. At one point we actually had to open the windows at night as we were so warm. Breakfast was served between 0730 - 1030 and consisted of a traditional continental breakfast with meats, cheeses, pastries etc etc. We absolutely loved this hotel, even though its about a 20min walk into Marienplatz where the Xmas market is held , its a little gem off the beaten track. We will definitely be booking again, so thank you to the staff at Hotel Prinz.

There wasn't really anything to dislike but the only things we would like to have had available in the room were Tea making facilities. My partner and I enjoy a cup of Tea and we found waiting for Tea at breakfast a little bit too long for us.. an absolutely minor issue. One other point, again absolutely being picky, was access to a Smart TV so we could watch a movie at night. Unfortunately the only channel I was able to watch in English was the BBC News.

The location was great and the property is very clean and tidy. The hotel was so friendly and welcoming and we wanted to pay particular thanks to the staff especially Anton and Merdad (apologies if we spelled it wrong!) who were so good to us when we needed to extend our stay due to heavy snow and cancelled flights they did so much to reassure us and make our trip very enjoyable. We will certainly return to the hotel in the future

The WiFi needs to be improved in the hotel- we were on the second floor and had no WiFi signal at all- not ideal as I had to work for a little while there

The maid saved our day. We had asked for the hotel to get us a cab to pick us up for an early morning flight home. The following day, no cab. We asked the housekeeping lady to help us call a cab. She did this immediately and our cab got us to the airport on time. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Room is comfortable, our first hotel that did not get the entire bathroom wet from showers. Cleaned our room daily. Breakfast smelled so good every morning. Location is off the beaten path, quiet, comfortable. And I loved the fan!

Hot. Germany hotels must be this way. They supplied an electric fan though which was a good friend to have.
