The room was roomy and Jacob who ran the breakfast room was a terrific host

The breakfast service and choices were excellent compared to other similar hotels. The kitchen/service staff were terrific. Overall a clean comfortable hotel in a good location with restaurants across parking lot.

The hotel needs some updates including the common areas such as hallways and elevator. The bathroom needs a few easy upgrades. The bed pillows were tiny.

I loved the location! It's close to everything! The beach is only 10mins away. So many shopping excursions and restaurants are within walking distance if you want to take a nice stroll. The staff was pleasant. We had one issue but it wasn't serious enough for a bad rating. I love staying here and will again.

I'd like more breakfast choices. It was good but just would've liked more options and more patience from the staff as guests were just trying to finish up. Even if it's a little after the close time, if guests are just sitting out of the way the staff shouldn't be rude to them. Never had that happen anywhere b4. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

The staff is very friendly. The restaurant choices within walking distance are awesome. We spent our mornings at the beach, and afternoons next to the pool.

They charged my card before I arrived. I was told this was in-line with what I signed up for, but I verified I selected pay when you arrive, as I had planned to use a different payment at the hotel. We have stayed here several times, booked through booking.com, and I have always paid with a different card when we arrived. We love the hotel for its location and amenities. However, I was very disappointed with this choice by hotel management, how they handled my issue, and I have since made a different choice with our hotel in this area.

I loved the location and how close we were to everything. There was also great customer service by a very nice man Joseph. My daughter and I came down for breakfast a little after it was over and there were still some items left, he even made her a couple waffles personally and was just very nice and accommodating, especially considering he was trying to clean up but he honestly didn’t mind at all and to top it off, he also was very accommodating to my mother too by making her a fresh cup of coffee. His customer service and just how pleasant he was, was just so refreshing. I hope they realize they are so lucky to have such a nice man working for them. God bless him. We will definitely be back and we hope he is still there!! Yall really need to hang on to him seriously.

I honestly didn’t have any dislikes.

The breakfast was yummy and they kept everything filled. The location was great! Out of the chaos but close to everything. The guy at the front desk (John?) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. When we went to check in, we actually asked about changing rooms to be on the first floor and it was the strangest thing lol when he changed our room and gave us the key I almost fell on the floor because he put us in room 143 and then my family that means I love you so to me that was a sign that my angels were with us. I would definitely stay there again!

The only thing that could make it better would be if they had bacon on the breakfast bar lol

Location, location, location! Friendly staff (all but one). One of the front desk ladies (Kathy?) was super sweet - she suggested a water park that turned out to be a highlight of the trip. The breakfast and breakfast staff, especially the cook, are absolutely wonderful. Great food, super friendly - we have come here several years and he (cook) is always the highlight of the morning. You can tell he enjoys his customers. Also like the size of the room (king) and the balcony was nice. Pool is great, despite not being very deep. It’s clean and comfortable, we can have toys, it’s not crowded and open late all of which are priceless. All around a great stay at a decent price.

Definitely older, in need of some updates. Our fridge leaked like crazy and barely cooled and the elevator was broken but honestly it’s worth some little things for an affordable price and nice people.

The staff was always helpful and friendly. Love the location it was very convenient great restaurants shopping and it was close to the beach.

Everything was nice. I would just say maybe add bacon back to the breakfast menu. We had sausage almost every day, but everything was amazing. Also, would say the parking was a little different and not being able to see the lines on the pavement.

I loved the friendly staff, except for the gentleman who was rude during breakfast, everyone else was accommodating and very nice. The location was superb 👌 close to everything and if you wanted you could walk around the area. Rooms were clean, very spacious..great visit

Just the guy that was rude because it was a few people were still sitting and talking after breakfast. He basically said he was ready to clean and go home so we needed to leave the area!!

I MADE RESERVATIONS FOR 1 NIGHT ON LINE. WHEN I SEARCHED ON CHOICE APP FOR A ROOM NEAR CHARLESTON PLAY HOUSE AND THIS HOTEL CAME UP SO I BOOKED IT. WHEN WE LEFT THEY SAID I DIDNT HAVE A POINTS BECAUSE I BOOKED THRU BOOKING.COM WHICH I THOUGHT I WAS BOOKING THROUGH THE HOTEL SO I DID NOT GET CREDIT FOR THE NIGHT. I DID NOT LIKE ALL THE CONFUSION WITH BOOKING A ROOM,
