Badia Agnano is a charming village well worth a stop on your tour of Tuscany. However, our short stay at Il Bosso di Toscana left us with the strongest memory. The building is part of a former monastery complex and still preserves the charming atmosphere of the Middle Ages. If you also visit the church, which is part of this complex, your visit will leave an indelible memory with you. The hosts are amazing - they are not only kind and hospitable, but have exceptional taste and sense for creating a warm and sophisticated home environment where guests feel welcome and special. The lovely living room, where we enjoyed a fine breakfast and attention from the hosts, has the look of a museum collection that continues into the bedroom. The artistry and sense of the characteristic details leaves an exeptional memory, especially if you are an art connoisseur. My wife and I are architects and for us staying at Il Bosso di Toscana and interacting with the hosts was an unforgettable pleasure. Thank you, we will gladly recommend your home to friends who intend to travel in Italy. Nina & Zdravko

Myself and my wife had a fantastic night here. The room is clean and comfortable, and incredibly quiet. The house itself is apparently a 1000 years old, an old monastery, and the room we stayed in a converted mill. Our host was very welcoming, and easy to talk to. The breakfast was fantastic, taken in the house, in a room with old books and antiques, as though you were in an English mansion. The town, which is 50 yards up the road, looks like a medieval village imagined by Hollywood. There are a few shops, we spent some of the evening in a bar, with the locals, drinking cheap red wine. Superb. I would visit again in a heartbeat

We booked this property as it was near to the venue where we are getting married, next year. The bed and breakfast was only a couple of minutes drive from our wedding venue so a perfect location for our short stay in Tuscany. The property was very clean and tidy! The layout is perfect - we stayed in the double bedroom on the first floor (right of stairs) and the host stayed upstairs, so we felt like we were out of the way. Each evening, the host asked us what time we wanted breakfast for the following day. This was a lovely touch. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! The host also changed some of the breakfast, so it had a little more variety each day. We only stayed for two nights, but we were definitely return. Thanks so much

The property is just outside the village and has beautiful garden views with a rich history. We enjoyed the afternoon sitting outside at the table and chairs provided. The room itself was comfortable, and the bathroom was bigger than the average en-suite bathroom in Italy. The host was very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed our Italian chat. Breakfast was exceptional with a beautiful table setting and one of the best breakfast selections. The restaurant recommendation "Ristorante Perbacco" was excellent.
I love natural light and the small window in the room was my only dislike, but not a problem.

Beautiful location with beautiful host / hostess! They were absolutely wonderful. They made us breakfast every morning, even the morning where I slept in and missed the breakfast slot, they left us a tray outside our door which was so kind. Room was cozy and nice too.
The heat was tough to handle with no AC, but there were fans. Nothing that can be controlled! :)

Thank you for everything. Host is so friendly, in course of our stay we felt that we are in home. Cozy accommodation. Breakfast is brilliant. If you choose here you will get opportunity to stay in historical town and travel to historical places such as siena, rome, monterigionni, san gimignianno. strongly recommended you can stay with peace in mind.

Lisa is so nice and helpful. We arrived late, around 8pm, we read about there is no place for dinner so we both something to eat and a bottle of wine, asked Lisa for to forks and a bottle opener and we received also plates and glasses, everything arranged in the little garden in front of the B&B. The room is small, but cozy and nice. The best surprise was the breakfast place and the breakfast. everything was prepared for us (Lisa asked us last night at what time we want so serve de breakfast, we said 9am) Thank you for this amazing experience 🥰

It's a lovely room situated in an old monastery. A mix between modern and old architecture. It's run by a very kind family who give their best to make us feel at home. The breakfast was served in a huge living room and it was abundant! It was a good experience and we hope to return when we have the chance!
It's not a negative point, but a suggestion. The hosts could know the opening time of the only restaurant on the village. They told us it was opened but it wasn't. It opens just sometimes on the week. There are other options in the next village, 3 Km away, what shouldn't be a problem if you're travelling by car.
