Agriturismo Il Colle is a wonderful hotel with beautiful grounds and facilities overlooking Lake Como. The vistas from our room windows and the lawns and patios were excellent. The manager and staff were all top notch and helpful in all matters. The breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were very large and clean with very good beds. The bathroom was also very nice and also spacious. The grounds provide good parking if you are traveling by car. The very beautiful lakeside towns of Bellagio and San Giovanni are both about a 15 to 20 minute walk (all down hill). Note that the return walks are all uphill. At age 70, we walk quite a bit, and we found the walking reasonable, however those that are not in reasonably good condition should be aware that there are no shuttles or easy parking closer to Bellagio.

There is no restaurant facility on site, nor within easy walking distance if you are going to dinner after dark. So you need to plan accordingly. Typically the Bellagio paid parking spaces do open up a bit as 7PM approaches, but that is not guaranteed.

A beautiful small intimate hotel with a breathtaking view! Our highlight was the breakfast and the view during breakfast. The rooms are large with a large bathroom. We also booked the apartment for my children which is spacious but doesn't really have a window or view. There is parking which is convenient but it is about a 10-15 minute walk to town. We managed to find parking in the evenings so could drive back from town. You can also walk to a small beach nearby which was great for swimming during the extreme heat. Very easy to use public ferry to vista Varen and Mennagio etc which are beautiful town nearby.

Wish it had a pool!

Gorgeous terrace views of Lake Como. Breakfast eggs and fruit from their own chickens and gardens. Generous sized rooms with a/c and abundant common areas to enjoy. Beautifully landscaped. Great serve-yourself wine kiosk.

We actually loved the location but put this comment in the „don’t like“ box to alert folks who can’t or don’t want to handle somewhat steep hills from Bellagio back to the property. Stay at a hotel in town or call Uber if that’s you. It’s a healthy climb coming back after shopping/dining. We enjoyed going into town on foot and burning some pasta calories on the way back.

Fantastic stay , accommodations and staff! Views from the accommodation are unbeatable and breath taking. Included breakfast is best breakfast we had in all of our time in Europe. Farm fresh.. lots of options, fresh eggs, fruits, pastries and more. Wine bar and coffee available throughout stay. Incredibly spacious and clean rooms. Bit of a walk uphill back to accommodations from town (1km) but is perfect for after all the pasta and gelato! Rooms always clean and so comfortable. Very spacious! One of our best stays in Italy. Staff was always available to answer many questions and provide ideas and guidance. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Mary and staff!

The location was perfect. It was in walking distance to the town and to the ferries. The grounds and the views from every window were spectacular. Mary, was in charge of overseeing everything. She was very helpful in making reservations and making sure our rooms were perfect. Luigi prepared an unbelievable breakfast each morning. He made all the breads and pastries fresh each day as well as prepared any style of eggs we asked for.

This place was so perfect. There were only 8 rooms which insured individualize attention. The rooms were large, extremely clean and offered spectacular views of Lake Como. Mary and Luigi were extremely friendly and they were always there if you had a question or needed a recommendation as to where to eat. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about our stay there.

Beautiful view overlooking Lake Como, clean & quiet grounds and the full free buffet breakfast prepared by Luigi with homemade pastries, desserts, fresh fruits and wide range of omelettes, etc was fantastic. Luigi also made recommendations and reservations for lunch & dinner for our group of 6 couples. Mary at the front desk was very helpful in providing suggestions for things to do and how to get around locally by foot and regionally by ferry. Very helpful staff.

Be prepared to walk down to the Bellagio ferry and business area from the hotel along narrow roads with crazy drivers, probably 3/4 mile each way.

The place was amazing, staff are super kind and friendly. We were late for the last check-in time, the lady was so kind to wait for us, showed us to the room, explained everything, reminded us the breakfast, even helped us to make dinner reservation. We are family of five, the grand parents had a blast with the stunning Como lake view from their room and from the breakfast terrace. We definitely recommend this place.

Stunning views, gorgeous property which offers spacious rooms and bathroom. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast are included and oh my, it was so delicious!! It's about 15 min walk from the center of Bellagio, and it is at the top of a hill so prepare for that. But the views from the terrace is amazing and worth every dollar!! The property is surrounded by olive trees, rosemary bushes, lemon trees, and the scent of star jasmins nearby make the stay so memorable and special. We wish we could stay longer. Definitely recommend!!

The internet did not work during our stay...

The breakfast far exceeded our expectations and was not only plentiful but also locally produced eggs, marmalades etc. The view and the surroundings were magical.

We hadn't realised that the property is a steep walk to and from the main town and ferry terminal, with no public transport. A fairly easy walk down but a challenging walk back up. (It wasn't that we didn't like it - more that it wasn't expected).

Good location in a beautiful setting. Wonderful views. Nice breakfast on the terrace. Better than staying in the heart of Bellagio. Nice 10 mins walk down hill to Bellagio restaurant,shops and ferry terminal. Just be careful of speeding drivers when walking along the road.

The room was not ready when we arrived even though it was past check in time. But I couldn't fault anything else.
