Great location, walking distance to the city center, with a good breakfast offering. It is conveniently located near a grocery store and a bus stop. We selected this hotel for its good price-to-location ratio at the time. The receptionists were very pleasant. Working AC/heating system, shower gel replaced daily.

The scrambled eggs could use improvement. I didn't feel safe on the route to the city center, though this feeling extended to all of Bologna. I felt as though I was constantly watched by the staff during breakfast. The economy room has an unusual design, but it is suitable for an overnight stay if you walk around the city during the day.

The position of the hotel is pretty good, there are buses for the train station, and to the centre you can either take a bus or even walk. There is a supermarket nearby to buy water or snacks for travel. The staff was there 24h and they were very pleasant on both the reception and the breakfast. Breakfast itself was good, if you like sweet it is great, if you like savoury you might find the options limited after a few days. Coffee, tea and juice selection was quite good. Our room and bathroom was tidy and the cleaning lady kept it like that every single day. AC was working, fridge was working and the wifi was good.

The economy room was good price, but next time for 2+ days I would definitely book a larger room due to lack of storage space for anything. The pillows were uncomfortable. No kettle in the room. The bathroom door doesn't lock. Bologna city tax is now 4.20e per person/night, quite a lot (although not the hotels fault).

Super helpful administration. Room service is also the highest level. Room was cleaned on a daily basis, including changed sheets. Wonderful breakfast with lots of pastries and other options. 10/10

There was water and a few of other drinks inside the fridge when we arrived. Apparently, they were charged although noone notified at the check-in. Wouldn’t have been an issue if the price of these drinks was normal. The drinks seemed a bit overpriced and happened to be an unpleasant surprised at the end of the trip where they charged the city tax and price for drinks. Noone will notify you about the city tax prior, so keep in mind that you’ll have to pay that one as well at the end of the stay. Payed extra 50eur just like that. Not a big money or detail but becomes a really bad customer experience when Italy punishes tourists whenever there’s a chance :D

We really enjoyed staying here! The price we paid for the room was great, and it was within walking distance of the city center so the location was phenomenal. Also, the staff at the front desk were very helpful and helped us call a taxi for transportation to the train station.

The room was pretty small, and a bit of a squeeze for even 2 people with luggage. The street outside is noisy so although the room was warm, opening the window wasn't really an option. Those are very, very small reasons compared to an overall wonderful stay, though!

The overall experience is positive. The location is really good and you have access to public transport, the breakfast was rich and delicious and the staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is also accessible for people with moving difficulties.

During check out we were informed that we have to pay some kind of local tax, which is calculated per night per person. This means the amount of money is predefined and we could have been at least notified at our arrival, in order to manage our finances. In addition, the room wasn't 100% clean, the bedsheets and the towels have been washed, however there were stains (for example in the towel there was make up stain). Also the toilet could have been cleaner, as there were some stains too.

Room: Very comfortable, large bed; large opening windows allowing easy control of cold or humidity. Toilet flush broke on first day but repaired promptly. Bathroom clean and roomy; fresh towels and soap every day. Breakfast: Plenty of choice, much of it healthy - fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc. Helpful, polite staff even at very busy times. Location: Pleasant walk into Bologna centre; excellent system of calling a taxi - we never waited more than five minutes.

Possibly a bigger range of hot food at breakfast. Also, tea/coffee facilities in rooms would be a bonus. Noisy traffic from around 6am, even with windows shut - but not a major problem.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a 24 hours reception and the staff was always very friendly. Everything was also very clean and there was a cleaning service every day. The breakfast was also a plus, given the low prices of the rooms.

One of the few issues was the noise. Even though the outside noises were very well isolated and kept outisde, despite the hotel being on a busy street, the noise cancelation between the rooms could be improved. Also, the breakfast area is a bit small and as a result, if the hotel is too busy, you may have to wait a bit for an empty table.

The breafast was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed the sofia loren picture in the room, my girlfriend...not so much :) It was a pleasant stay and the staff was outstanding. They arranged parking when we didnt reserve any and provided us with a place. They even gave us a tip on how to get it cheaper on sunday! If i return to Bologna, i would consider staying here again.

The room was quite small, but it is to be expected for the cheapest room. I missed a better place to put our stuff but it wasnt a deal breaker for a short stay and we were comfortable just living out of our bags.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! It’s very close to public transportation, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The building is lovely, with a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of options to start the day. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The location is not just in the center but it was really close to it and you can easily walk- no need to take a bus. Besides, just in front of the hotel there is a bus station which is really useful to go to central station. Breakfast was nice and enough. Especially variety of coffee was great. Cake, croissant, cheese, bread (4-5 different options) cereals, cheese etc etc. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The bathroom and bed sheet were super clean.

I wish they had olive and tomatoe in breakfast as well because you are in Italy :) The ceiling light is too much even disturbing and you have to turn on 3 lamps at the same time no more possibility. There is a reading light which we used but only one so not enough to light everywhere. The room was a bit dusty. There should be an beverage automat in the lobby.
