We had the best time at La Madonnina. The facilities are all superb, the gym is very well equiped, the spa area is great and the treatments we had were amazing, but the private beach area is the best! The room was very comfortable with a little balcony with great views. But the highlight is the staff, everyone is super friendly. The catering staff were so attentive. They catered to a vegan diet with oat milk for coffee and making some adjustments for lunches and dinner. Breakfast options were so varied, I almost had completely different things to eat every day for a week! The reception ladies super helpful, even before we arrived as we had some trouble with ferry cancellations. We were also able to stay on the day after checkout and use the beach until we were due to catch the ferry. All in all, an amazing experience!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym equipment is excellent and clean for a small hotel gym and provides exactly what you need. The sea area is very impressive with a bar and drinks service to your lounger. The room was clean and spacious. In terms of accessibility there is a bus stop literally 4m outside the hotel which runs regularly from ischia port and costs a few euros. The views from the hotel are stunning and I would say it is definitely value for money considering other prices of the hotels with such a view and swimming area. The staff knew we were getting married only a few days later and upon leaving gave us a small gift which was unexpected and lovely!

One thing I would have like is some more snacky options by the pool as most of them were restaurant dishes that you can eat for lunch at the outdoor restaurant. Maybe a vegetarian salad of panuozzo/pannis etc would have been great, a few more light bites.

Omg every thing was perfect! Benedetta and Rosamaria are the best hotel staff I’ve ever worked with. Coming from Sorrento, the water taxis have been hit or miss. That was the same for leaving Ischia to Naples. They helped arrange everything for our arrival and departure, for me and my sister and 6 other guests leaving Ischia, from the taxi services (needed 2 on departure day; one to the port in Ischia and 1 from the port we landed in to Naples train station), the water ferry, etc. They took the stress out of everything! Made dinner recommendations and reservations, advice on the bus system and the best spas. The hotel grounds were beautiful. All the staff were amazing from the bars, restaurant and spa. The worst part was we only stayed 2 nights, but could have stayed a few more! Ischia was more beautiful than expected.

Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They provided nice toiletries and changed the towels regularly. We had a large balcony with a great waterfront view. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices including eggs the way you wanted them. The servers were great, friendly and helpful. The is a bus stop right in front of the property and we used buses to get around the island. A short walk from the hotel is a very nice local pizzeria and also a supermarket.

A beautiful and welcoming hotel. Stunning views and fantastic facilities. The food was great too. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and enjoyed sharing knowledge of the local area. We felt very welcome. We enjoyed the therma spa, time relaxing at the beach enjoying the menu offering a wide vitrify of food and drinks. In the evening after a sunset stroll we came back to the hotel for their evening menu, the food was delicious and the staff we friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks served.

Beautiful, authentic hotel in Casamicciola. It is very clean and the sea area is lovely. The included breakfast is also excellent and the staff are all very kind, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing! We loved it. Note that there isn’t an outdoor pool (only an indoor one) but that didn’t bother us at all as the sea area is gorgeous. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved everything about this hotel, from the attentive staff to the lovely room overlooking the sea, spacious bathroom, thermal pool, the sea facilities below, and the restaurant. Wish we had more time to spend there--two nights was not enough. The hotel is located a short walk away from a few local restaurants, but transportation (cheap bus or more costly taxi) needed to get to other places on the island. A shuttle service was provided for us to reach a thermal park, which was very much appreciated.

Hotels should have more king-size beds to offer guests for greater comfort!

Hotel is on a cliff overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Gorgeous view from the dining room and guest room. Spacious private sitting area outside my room with unobstructed ocean view, table, chairs and shaded cushioned lounger. Small sandy beach for guests and plenty of loungers with umbrellas on large deck area. The water was clear and perfect for swimming. Enjoyed a Limoncello or Aperol Spritz every evening at the hotel bar before going out to dinner. It is easy to get around this side of the island by local bus and taxi (and walking if you are okay with hills and heat).

Limited choices on dinner menu and pressure from one of the waiters to eat at the hotel every night.

Our stay here was an absolute dream! The hotel and property is beautiful and the smaller size allowed for a more intimate personalized guest experience. The service was impeccable, we truly felt so welcomed and cared for we did not want to leave! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, we stayed at the end of May and it was both a romantic location for my husband and I and family friendly for my sister, brother in law and young toddler. 10/10 stay here! Location is fantastic too- We rented scooters and explored the whole island and port cities while getting to return to our quiet little oasis with the most spectacular sunsets and views of the water!
