Fabulous position in Castel Gandolfo with views over the lake from the lounge and main bedroom. Roberta welcomed us at the apartment Complementary coffee and water. Large comfortable bed. Warm and cosy as it was cold at night. Charming building Really the flat is all about location and views we were a couple and it was great for us but it might be more cramped if both bedrooms taken

Not dislikes but Bathroom very narrow and the shower cubicle was quite small & possibly a challenge for the more rubenesque body shape.( However it was hot and powerful) The kitchen was very basic and the oven was not clean- also the work surfaces were greasy around the hob and the pans had seen better days. There was a washing machine which was quite old and was out of action when we were there. There was some later evening noise from the wine bar below the flat ( not too much of a problem for us but in summer it might be more problematic). TIP: if arriving by train book taxi / transfer in advance as in winter there is no shuttle bus and its a bit of a slog up the path to the town with luggage

Cozy apartments where we found everything we needed for our multi-day stay. A cozy and cute town, after leaving the apartametes, you can immediately find restaramus, where you can have a delicious meal of local food. During our stay, a celebration took place in the adjacent town, so we could watch the beautiful fireworks through the windows of the apartments. The owners communicated kindly and helpfully, they were very helpful in arriving from the airport and back, we were 5 people and it was quite difficult to arrange a taxi, but thanks to the owners, this issue was solved.

Very nice property, exactly as described and shown in pictures. We stayed in the studio with the view of the lake, and it was clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The bed and linens were the nicest of any place we stayed in Italy - almost what you'd find in a luxury hotel. Wonderful to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view over the lake. The staff were helpful and responded quickly to inquiries when contacted. Restaurants and shops were just around the corner.

The room wasn't very well soundproofed, and we could hear everything going on outside on the street, but fortunately while we were there the town was pretty quiet, so this wasn't a big issue. Figuring out where and how to park and navigating the roads around the town to get in and out with a car was a bit confusing.

The location is wonderful, the exterior entrance to the room was beautiful, and the room was comfortable with useful furnishings and nice amenities. I appreciated the mini refrigerator!

A few extra towels would have been nice, since it is not very easy to get replacements when needed. Our biggest challenge was with transportation from the train station when we arrived with our luggage. The hotel website mentioned a local bus, which took us a while to determine was not running at the time. The site did not include how to call a taxi or otherwise find a ride. When we reached someone on a hotel phone number, their driver was not available. It was a frustrating hour in the heat before we were finally picked up by a taxi.

Our stay at the Atlantis Inn in Castel Gandolfo was fantastic and a highlight of our seven week holiday in Europe. This small hill town on the outskirts of Rome was relaxing and a great way to wind down after a full on and intense holiday. The room was very spacious with excellent facilities and the view from the terrace to the lake was amazing. Surrounding the hotel is a great selection of welcoming cafes, bars and restaurants. Don't miss the Gardens of Villa Barbarini. Well worth a visit. Our host was very accommodating, storing our luggage on departure day, with the local shuttle transporting us to the railway station for our journey to Rome and the international airport.

Nothing really

We liked everything! The lake view was as beautiful as in the pictures. waking up to the view felt magical. we had all the facilities we could think of wanting. We used the kitchen to make a simple dish, we also used the washing machine and all the clothes got dry with the help of the sun and the fan at night😄 they even had a nail file 😅 it was such a nice recovery stop after nonstop activities in Rome. it's easy with a car to drive down the lake where you could swim, the town where the property is located and the town at the lake were so pretty and lively at night! there's also a bakery at walking distance, really good cornetto😄 we would come back!!

we somehow didn't get hot water during our stay, probably the gas was out, since the stove also didn't work. the guy probably wouldve fixed it for us but we just didn't bother asking because its only for one night.

We had high expectations but were still totally unprepared for how stunning this room and view would be. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very stylishly decorated, not to mention stocked with all sorts of kitchenware. We were only there for a short visit but could easily have enjoyed a much longer stay in that room. And the view of the lake has to be seen to be believed. The town is easily accessible by train from Rome and full of good restaurants, bakeries, shops, etc., all within a few minutes' walk from the front door. Mimo was the best—he picked us up from the train station and made check-in super easy, and he also made us feel welcome when we ran into him in town a few days later. Really the perfect vacation experience overall.

Literally perfect!

Certainly Atlantis Inn which located in the midieval center of Castel Gandolfo one is more interesting and amazing place for accommodation. We are spent a few unmentionable days there during our holiday and got a real pleasure. Particularly stylish design, stunning landscape, old furniture, well equipment, creatted cozy atmosphere. Mimmo - very friendly and helpful owner who solved all our problems and answered any questions. On the ground floor situated cozy bar called D.O.C Wine bistro where you can drink glass of wine or cocktail with beautiful lakeview. My highly recommended Atlantis Inn for vacation or short holiday weekend.

Everything is great!

The Atlantis Inn was excellent! The room we had for a family of 4 was perfect. Spacious, super clean, air conditioned, and comfortable. Just a beautiful place to stay and would definitely stay here again. The location is in the heart of Castel Gandolfo. As for the service, Mimmo was excellent too! He helped us out from the moment we arrived; he helped us with everything, from the parking and to giving us amazing recommendations of what to see and where to eat. Top level service and he was always available to help us whenever we needed it.

The view was just amazing the apartment is on a street beside lots of bars and restaurants and lovely little shops. Mimo and the staff were very attentive and there to help with anything we needed. The beds were very comfortable we stayed in Rafael suite which jas a lovely little outdoor terrace. The papal palace is just minutes walk from the apartment

Nothing. There is everything you need and a kettle in the room, but strangely, there are no cups. Just ask, though, as they keep cups and glasses in the reception area
