We enjoyed our stay at Villa Riviera, the place is amazing and quiet. The sea view pool and the garden are beautiful and well maintained. The room was large and very clean, tastefully decorated. The staff is very kind, attentive and professional, organizes everything to make your stay magical. The resort fully deserves 5 stars. Thank you!

The Villa Riviera Resort offers an unparalleled experience with breathtaking views over the sea, making every moment a visual delight. The location in Lavagna is perfect for a relaxing getaway, offering both seclusion and proximity to local attractions. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with Mediterranean charm, and the attention to detail is commendable. The outdoor dining area is one of the highlights, with beautiful sunsets that enhance the dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay.

While the experience was nearly flawless, the only minor issue was the Wi-Fi signal, which occasionally dropped in certain areas. However, this hardly detracted from the overall relaxation and enjoyment.

We had an great time there, even with the bad weather. Rooms are large (at least the one we've had), modern and very well cleaned. It's very well placed, not too far from Portofino, and with a little effort (and a car) even the Cinque Terre can be visited from this base. Both restaurants are very good quality, we've had dinner in both of them. Breakfast is not buffet, so it's difficult to compare it with other 5 star hotels, but it's good enough.

The personnel in the reception is not exactly 5 star and there's a lot of noise from the cleaning people.

Stunning location! Room was big, clean and well appointed. Staff were attentive and friendly. A good example was they provided extra tea facilities every day after we asked on day one. Pool area and sun loungers were perfect, with bar by the pool also. Happily sat in sun looking at views all day. The two restaurants are also excellent, Terra in particular is the better of the two with authentic Italian food that was excellent. Aria has slightly more formal offering and the views. Overall a wonderful location that I'd 100% recommend

At the price point I would not expect to have to pay for things like water by the pool which was disappointing. Location is isolated so nothing nearby (20 min drive) which is both a pro and con. Cinque terra is 1.5hr away and portofino 1.2 hour.

Breakfast was good but not many options and variety of food, as in other hotels. In my opinion there should be a buffet, where we can choose what we want. I would have liked more bread, cakes, fruits, cereals, more cold cuts, more juices....but the waiter is Super nice! The acess to the hotel are not so great. The roads are very small and sometimes you can only pass one car at time.

Superb breakfast taken in an amazing location!! The dinner was incredible as well. Very professional and helpful staff. The spa is very special and the massage I had was exceptional!!!

The wardrobe in my room was too tiny - it was just about right for a 2 night stay of a single person. Given the location in which the resort is situated, a free shuttle should be available for guests, at least to get to the nearest beaches.

Incredible service, staff is truly dedicated to the guests. It’s easy to do a day trip to cinque terra or portofino from nearby train stations. Restaurants were great, especially Terra.

There can be instances in Lavagna where there are no available cabs and you have to wait 20 minutes for the Hotel to call a cab.

Very beautiful hotel with an extraordinary view over the coast and city of Lavagna. Outdoor spa facility with a lot of options. Lots of young people that work in the hotel but they're all very professional and make your stay very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a very professional service.

The stay is rather expensive but the service was also extremely high-end.

Incredible vista, stunning rooms, only 15 suite which makes the hotel rather boutique.Very friendly and accommodating staff members. Beautifully maintained garden and amenities. Great restaurant vista with good collection of food varieties

Simply outstanding! The rooms in the second house are brand new and laid out extremely well. The room Vernazza was one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed at. Great views of the Mediterranean sea and very spacious. Parking is available right at the property. The pool area has enough sunbeds for all guests and areas in the shade as well. Shuttle service down to Sestri Levante was reliable and the driver was very nice/friendly. This place is a great base when visiting Cinque Terre - I will definitely return.

The only room for improvement that I noticed are the sunshades at the "Terra" restaurant. The bottom weight on these things is so light that they keep falling over at the slightest wind gust. We saw lots of them fall over during our stay - one even right on the head of another guest. Instead of picking them up from the ground again and again please consider putting some proper weights on them so that they don't fall over in the first place.
