Our room and overall location was very nice

And We had some issues..namely check in was a little awkward, and we were promised a dinner reservation and menu to review. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told the dining room was full Then it was explained we could come at 730 for dinner and we noticed quite a few empty tables throughout the evening There was a very obnoxious party of 6 sitting by us that ruined our dinner so we left early. Some guests did not adhere to the dress code. At poolside we ordered two sprtizers and nothing came. I went to the reception desk twice and was told they were sorry for the delay. We received our sprtzers almost an hour later! Very poor service indeed. I have been a guest at other Relais properties and have never been treated this poorly

Amazing hotel staff and rooms everything g was exceptional , the breakfast was abundant and delicious, the grounds are gorgeous so picturesque, the pool area is amazing the pool staff where all wonderful

The Michelin star restaurant was not that great I’ve eaten all over the world and this was below par , my husband and I both ordered different meals and we did not enjoy either meals over priced and not very enjoyable , the food we had ordered from room service was so much nicer

Relais & Chateaux IL Falconiere was an exceptional property and worthy of 5 stars. It was the perfect oasis right outside of Cortona to enjoy both the Tuscany and Umbria hilltowns. We stayed a total of three nights having dinner at the one star michilien restaurant two nights and the ambiance, service and quality of dining were exceptional. It was really enjoyable to spend the day driving in the nearby Tuscan and Umbrian villages and then enjoy a late afternoon couple of hours in our own tuscan countryside with pool and fine dining experience. Breakfasts in the original greenhouse were also outstanding with ambiance and local abundance!

Absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Tuscany, the staff was so charming and very nice. The entire surroundings is just breathtaking! The breakfast was exceptional, the food from the restaurant was delicious! They offer plenty of activities to do! The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, decorated with a lot of style, the attention to detail was very present. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxury yet comfortable and warm palace!

This hotel/experience could not have been better. The attention to detail was unmatched. Beautiful/large room with spectacular views. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We were able to take advantage of the Michelin star restaurant, the amazing breakfast, the hotel's wine tour and the spa. Everything was literally steps from our room. Was very easy to schedule things in Cortona as the reception would set up transportation and make reservations for us.

Great location with a unique view of Cortona. The resort is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The Michelin star restaurant was absolutely excellent on the first two visits. The third dinner did not reach the quality of the previous ones, but we had the opportunity to discuss everything with the chef :).

The property was beautiful and every detail was so thoughtful. The restaurant and common areas were so lovely. Beautiful views and fruit trees everywhere! We booked this hotel because my mom wanted to take a cooking class. It was the most amazing day and class with Silvia. What an absolute treat! We loved Cortona and this amazing hotel.

Our only complaint was that our rooms were quite a far walk from the main area of the hotel. I should have mentioned before check in that my dad was injured/handicapped because it was a bit of a walk up a hill and stairs. I am sure we would have been able to get a different room, but something to consider if you are older and have a little trouble getting around.

Very nice and quiet location close to the beautiful town of Cortona

Some staff members had real attitude issues. When we arrived on our last evening at the bar the first thing the barkeeper told us that he was tired.

Location, room(but to much humidity în room).

The one star Michelin restaurant was below aspectation!!! Very expensive and no taste. We eat only one Time and The rest we eat în Cortona. Osteria del opera fantastic Food. If IT was a traditionl restaurant we eat many Times there. AT The breakfast, very poor and The same every Day! If you want omlet or something else you must to pay extra!!!!

Stunning. Views and facilities were wonderful. The room was perfect. Wish we stayed longer than a night. Restaurant was very good - the breakfast was amazing

Hard to get into Cortona town but the property itself is a destination.
