One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in - I almost don’t want to write this review and keep it our secret! Perfect location, team, and amenities. Really made our weekend getaway to the mountains beyond perfect. Location: In a very quiet hamlet to the west of ‘central’ Courmayer, perfectly located for those wanting a relaxing and quiet area (not that Courmayer is too wild!) Just a short and easy walk into the main town, and with some lovely restaurants even closer. Free parking very nearby. Facilities: Locate in a beautiful house, the rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with rustic charm. Felt like we were staying in our own country chalet. Our room had a fantastic balcony with incredible views of the surrounding mountains, perfect for a morning coffee. The loo and bath were perfect, and plenty of clever storage space for kit. On-call transfers to and from the lift was brilliant too, especially for later starts. Breakfast: The best I’ve had in the mountains! Local delicacies, both savoury and sweet, and the team were kind enough to bring us a selection in our room each morning to enjoy with the amazing view! Staff: Everyone was fantastic, super friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards to make our stay perfect with transfers, advice on where to visit, guidance on transport, everything. Lovely people!

This is probably the most charming hotel I've ever stayed at! It's in a historic building in La Saxe, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away from the chaotic tourist center of Courmayeur. We had 2 rooms, both so different and fun! One of them had a rooftop terrace that overlooked the town and mountains and was the most perfect place to hang out. This hotel manages to feel really quiet and historic, while still being really clean and chic. The included breakfast was fantastic. We had such a wonderful stay!!

It's slightly outside of the main town area, but for us that was a plus as it was so quiet and also the La Saxe area is gorgeous.

The staff here is outstanding - so knowledgable for hiking and adventure in the area! They also suggested restuarants and places for aperitivos in Courmayeur. They offered to do our laundry, air out our tent and backpacks (we stopped here for a rest day while hiking the TMB), pack us a breakfast to go, and were available via Whatsapp 24/7. Truly outstanding service. The room was incredible (suite with a Mountain View) with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. So much natural light came in the sky windows. The bathroom was also luxurious - very rustic, yet modern and so clean! I am recommending this place to everyone I know! It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown Courmayeur and the staff there will give you a map and tell you exactly what route to take.

An excellent breakfast was served, actuallya huge breakfast. More than we could manage. The room was comfortable and lots of hot running water, fantastic shower !

Just a very small thing, but the soundproofing wasn't great. We could hear next door using the bathroom in the night, as I'm sure they heard us.

Perfection everywhere. An adorable house, full of comfort and attention, located in a pedestrian area, far enough from Courmayeur to be absolutely quiet and close enough to easily reach it by foot. We had a charming stay. Several hikes in a preserved nature, each time with this unique proximity of the Monte Bianco. Always excited to find back our room where attention to details brings a unique authentic atmosphere. We didn’t miss anything and fully enjoyed everything thanks to the genuine dedication of the hosts, also happy owners of this paradise. An experience to live, where the pure simplicity of enjoying every second is possible because the beauty of sophistication is naturally managed at all level. A must we strongly recommend: with that you have the perfect excuse (if you ever need it) to make a next trip to the Aoste valley a priority. Go for it, promises will be hold by Maison La Saxe, not a single doubt!

Our view over the rooftops was absolutely stunning, and the big windows in our room gave us amazing light when the sun was out. Our room was incredibly cozy, it was really romantic! Raphael was really helpful and provided us all the information we needed about the ski situation.

Maison La Saxe is a very charming place, and the Junior suite, in particular, has beautiful architecture. We are so glad that we stayed for 2 nights. Megan went out of her way to make our stay an absolutely memorable experience. We enjoyed Aperol Spritz when we arrived and had a wonderful breakfast on our balcony. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We loved everything.

A very unique Inn run by a brother and a sister. They renovated a stone house into a very cozy Inn. It's an B&B inn vibe. We really enjoyed it. We got good recommendations regarding restaurants and activities. The Inn is about 15 minutes from town center. It's inside a small village and you are surrounded by other residents in the village.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for one night at Maison La Saxe, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. One of the highlights was the exceptional service. I was captivated by the charming ambiance of this beautifully restored alpine house. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern comfort.

The house is beautiful and very well conserved. It looks from a fairytale as there are a lot of tiny details that make it cosy and comfortable. The staff is really helpful and friendly, they are true hosts and care that you have a great trip. The breakfast is amazing, out of this world. Both quantity and top quality! Probably the best I have ever had in a hotel. If I ever go back to Courmayeur, I will definitely stay there. 100% recommended.
