The location was perfect, right at the heart of the city. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was fine although the shower was a bit uncomfortable. The TV was small.

Ideal location close to all major sites. Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous- that includes Reception, breakfast and cleaning staff. The single room No. 316 was quite large and equipped with kettle, fridge, hairdryer. Room has minimalist decor but clean and functional. Nice black and white photo art. The breakfast range was adequate. The heated towel rack in the room was great for drying small items. In short, the room and the hotel in general were ideal for a solo traveller. I strongly recommend Alberto Firenze as a great budget option with plenty of restaurants nearby.I stayed for 7 nights so saw the range of staff and activity.

In parts, the hotel is looking a little chipped around the edges- paintwork in the corridors e.g. and the shower in Room 316 needs regrouting, but part from that the only other slight annoyance was noise from the independent courtyard area where there is a restaurant- not a big deal but you are aware of activity there, such as the bottle bin being emptied by rubbish collectors- all fairly normal for Florence. However, windows are shuttered and have heavy curtains, so it is possible to block out such noise.

The reception staff is extremely friendly, willing to assist you in anything you want, and very patient with any type of tourists. Actually, they might be the best asset this hotel has, beside its location, which is literally meters away from all main attractions in Florence, which eased our way around a lot. The hotel is decent, room - clean, beds - comfortable, elevators (2)- very useful.

The bathroom needs to be refurbished, especially the shower cabin that doesn't even close properly and looks more like a museum piece. The toilet is too high making it very uncomfortable to use, especially for normal-to-shorter people. Room a little bit cramped for three people, but over all ok, given the location of the hotel and the fact that you use the room mostly just to rest at night.

Location was excellent, we stayed twice during the trip, once for Christmas and once again while we returned from south Italy .. the 2nd time we could see the Duomo from the room .. it was a great to see that. All other attractions were walking distance from the hotel.

Breakfast was just ok. not much choice and they served Scrambled eggs and sausage and it almost felt like it was being rationed ! (sorry Albergo .. you can do better there) and maybe add some additional options. Coffee was good

On the first night we stay on floor one, our room was a little bit too noise for us, but they agree to change it in the morning. Even someone clean our room every day, I think it need a more general cleaning, especially on the floor.

Very centrally located hotel, tucked in a quiet courtyard with many cafes and shops nearby. The room is super clean and so are the bathroom, towels and sheets. Furniture and upholstery are probably of the 90's but the room is very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is quite good with sweet and savoury, not like in a resort hotel, but you have a great variety and quality is good. Reception staff is super nice and friendly, they give a map and all the info you need. They also kept my suitcase on storage for a while on departure morning. This is my second stay here and will surely return.

The location of the hotel is amazing! Next to all the touristic places in Florence. Definitely worth it as it is walking distance to everything. It included also a discount for the parking inside the controlled area in case you are arriving by car. Breakfast was okay and the bed was comfortable.

Old hotel and not renovated,bathroom was small and the shower was not build well as the water was still leaking outside even after closing the door of the bathtub. Air-condition wasn't through a control panel for the temperature so it was either too cold or just switched off completely.

The room was of good size with a view of a canal (not the best view); the bed was of good size, but the furniture was too old from back in the day and too clunky. They need to get rid of the clunky furniture and replace is with more modern, smaller pieces and the room would be more spacious. I liked that the hotel is located like 5 min away from St. Mark's Square the stores and the threater around it were very posh and nice; and good access by vaporettos to the rest of the island.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, calling taxis, suggesting restaurants, bookshops, etc. The room air conditioning was strong enough to moderate the Florentine heat, and our room faced the courtyard, thus was reasonably quiet. The property was attractive and well maintained. Breakfast plentiful, too. We would stay there again.

Our room (a twin) was small, but this is normal for the type of hotel and location in city center. It was adequate and the beds comfortable. Appreciated the little refrigerator, but not the scratchy toilet paper.
