This is our first time ever seeing a castle, much less staying inside one! Our apartment was massive and the views were incredible. We had a huge terrace outside, we were glad we upgraded to the bigger apartment so we could actually stay inside of the castle. We had a small bottle of wine made on the property left for us upon arrival. The grounds were kept up and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 week trip to Italy.

There were some bugs inside the apartment and the tile floor could use a deep clean. The bed and couch could have been better considering the size of this room.

We loved everything about this property. It was so peaceful and nice change of pace from our busy travels in Italy. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We loved the breakfast, typical Italian home made breakfast - all cold options and the only hot option scrambled eggs. We didn’t use the restaurant and opted for restaurants in the neighbouring streets, which is 5 minutes away. Not many options open every night but none the less, some great food. There are food options further away but as the roads are quite windy, we opted to stay closer.

The rooms are in the castle but the apartments are separate cottages, I didn’t know this when I booked but the staff were extremely helpful and understanding and moved us into the castle. This was amazing!!! I have nothing bad to say about this property. We loved it and would return.

I have been to this castle a lot of times and I love it. You instantly relax when you get arrive and the buildings and vibe is just lovely. There was 8 of us this time. Village nearby is lovely and it is a short drive to other places. Breakfast is lovely and there are two beautiful pools (Although they were covered in wasps!!)

The venue appear to have new management so I am hoping that there were just a few teething problems with this. Our bookings were a bit confused but in fairness they went above and beyone to rectify ....when asked to. We also had bought and paid for a wine tasting excursion for 8 of us and they couldnt find it. This took about 20 minutes to sort even though i had the booking form etc. The reception needs someone experienced as we were not told about events happening at the Castle. My advice, put Gabriella back in there !!

Loved the relaxing atmosphere around the property.

It came as a shock that the hotel didn't offer espresso (or generally coffee) throughout the day (except for the breakfast part). It's Italy we're talking about!

A beautiful castle with a lot of history.Very kind staff and wonderful breakfast.Quiet and peaceful place with a wonderful winery..The rooms are big and you immerse yourself in the Italian idyll of Tuscany.Ideal for couples and families..The rooms in the castle are exceptional - and the bathrooms are unique with double showers and other extras. The two pools are an additional extra for your pleasant anchorage.

The restaurant is located at the foot of the castle and can be reached by car.

We loved the castle, it has a rustic feel with large comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast.

I booked this accommodation because it had its own wine cellar with tastings, I booked a tasting as soon as we checked in to our accomodation and was excited. Very disappointed in the wine tasting service, only two staff on and one was doing a tour which left one member of staff to do our pre booked tasting, but she was also doing drop ins, she really wasn’t interested, I had to request to try the Roses and sparkling wines, very disappointed!

Beautiful and peaceful location, very spacious and comfortable accommodation for two, with great air con. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool nearest to the castle is lovely, and towels were provided.

There was no coffee machine, just a very small kettle (not even enough capacity for two cups of tea!) Luckily, being tea-drinking Brits, we were prepared and brought our own! Also worth noting that there isn't a conventional oven, just a small microwave/combi oven.

One of the best places I have stayed in. Right amidst the vineyards and olive trees, in the castle grounds, it was an amazing stay. We extended our stay from one night to two nights and the lady at the reception was extra helpful in arranging for the same! The views around you are breathtaking, the rooms are extremely spacious with kitchen and sitting area outside where you can sip on the wine they provide you. Bathrooms and rooms are very clean.

There was absolutely nothing not to like, everything was too PERFECT!

the place was great! the staff was amazing! the property is stunning! we did a cooking class on the property and it was one of the highlights of the trip! highly recommend the place! I will be back!

no complaints but keep in mind the the villas on the property like what we stayed in are great but not "new" the beds are comfortable, bathrooms good, and I have no complaints, but keep in mind that you are staying in a historical spot.

Could not fault the service, facilities and scenery. We stayed for four days. Did not get breakfast included as we had a self contained place. Paid for the cooking class which was super fun. We made stuffed ravioli and tagliatelle. At the end, not only did we get to eat our pasta, they also provided us with a small charcuterie board and 2 wine tasting glasses.

There are heeeeeaps of bees, especially up at the smaller pool.
