Marina and her husband were extremely nice, happy to give tips about restaurants, ice cream parlours, etc. Coffee-and tea-making facilities (plus little cakes) in room. Safe and fridge as well.

Two small problems: it was near Genova Brignole railway station— handy for reaching the place but the odd train did rumble by during the night (one felt the vibration more than the noise: the double-glazing was good). Also my bathroom had a motion sensor which switched off the light automatically after five minutes. The drawback here was that it couldn’t detect movement in the shower, so one would suddenly be plunged into darkness while covered in soap. Just leave the door open and the room light on and you’ll be fine.

The place is very nice and clean. Bed is very comfortable, the room service comes every day, refiles the coffee pads and snacks. Marina is very welcoming and gives amazing advice where to eat, drink and what to visit in Genoa. All of her recommendations were very useful and all the places that we went from her recommendation were fantastic.

My experience was fantastic. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The room was large and with pretty view from the balcony. Great location, you can easily go to the city centre. The owner is very friendly.

My only suggestion would be to fix bathroom light because it turns off by itself while taking a shower.

Clean room in a good area outside the main tourist areas. Close to resteraunts and trainline/ tramline. Staff where extremely kind and helpful. Gave great advise on the area. Tea, coffee and snacks where provided which was a nice addition and even left us a bottle opener and a kind note after cleaning our room and seeing our wine. Staff 10/10.

Bed matress was uneven and a little uncomfortable. Could just be my opion though.

Located in authentic Italian building, it's a good catch for architecture aficionados. Good touristic area. Railway station is in close proximity as well as several shops. About 20 min walk to Piazza Fe Ferarri where you can find lots of restaurants and bars. The owner of the place Marina is a super host - she takes personal care of guests making sure they are feeling comfortable.

Nice appartments/room very close to the center of Genoa. Marina and her family are really nice, they welcomed us warmly and provided us a lot of information on Genoa and the surrounding area. Our room was spacious and totally sufficent for my wife, two kids (2 and 4 years old) and me. The location of the appartments is quite good, everything (train station, supermarkets, shops and restaurants) is in walking distance. Last but not least, the WIFI is working good.

Unfortunately, as a consequence of Coronavirus, breakfast is not provided anymore. However, there were some snacks and also a coffee machine in the room.

The room is really special, located in the palace. Marina is a very warm and helpful host. We used some of her restaurant tips and enjoyed immensely.

The fact that the room is in old palace is spectacular and at the same time has some limitations in a sense of comfort.

I had the deluxe king room with private bathroom. The room was nice and clean. Very comfortable. Very quite. The location is great, close to Brignole train station and 15' to piazza de Ferrari. Positive stay.

Marina is a very nice host, was always in contact with us 😊 the location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the station with all train/bus connections to other cities, 5 minutes walk to the city centre. the room was cleaned every day and is in a very good condition. we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back 😊

Beautiful interior design, clean, comfortable and central. Very nice view from the private balcony. Good central location. The staff provided us with extensive tips on where to eat and things to see in Genova
