Check-in was really fast and easy. Location was perfect. The hotel is located a little bit above the city center I believe, so the reception is in the 5th floor but then you take the elevator to the ground floor where you can exit to go to the walkable area. In the ground floor is also the breakfast room, which had plenty of food, coffee, all kind of breads, sweets, cold meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. Parking was right outside the hotel, which was great. The hotel was very clean, spacious, comfortable and the staff were very nice.

The mattress maybe? anyway, we slept like babies!

The staff were excellent and very helpful at all times. The room was very clean and was maintained to a very high standard throughout our stay. We really appreciated that. The hotel is right by the central tourist area so there are lots of restaurant options for evening meals.

The shower area was small and no more than OK. There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room but you could always get "proper" coffee from Reception (and other drinks) 24hrs/day for a very modest charge so overall this was not a big issue. The hotel is a tall building (reception on floor 5 - upper street level) and the breakfast restaurant on the ground floor (city centre level) so you are dependent on the single lift, which gets busy, unless you don't mind running up and down stairs!

Location, location, location! Walking distance to everything including the train station, harbour, shopping and restaurants. The hotel is on a hill and there’s a ground level access point that eliminates the need to climb unnecessary stairs. Breakfasts have something for everyone. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Good value for money!

It is a bit tired (furniture in common areas) looking.

Very central, you enter the oldtown pedestrian area, heading to marina, straight from the hotel. Clean and cool room, the family room has separate room for kids with their own TV. Complimentary water upon arrival. Free parking lots in front of the hotel.

Very few toiletries as for 4 star hotel (no one uses those shower caps anymore). We found only two sets of towels, though stayed 3 persons. Breakfast needs more variety, no more boiled eggs were there, scrambled eggs were cold. No gym or spa, no mini bar. Old and slow elevator.

Great room for a family (junior family suite) of four. Breakfast had a lot variety. Hotel is centrally placed with easy parking in front of it. Lots of restaurants around and it is only 15min walking from either the harbor or the train station to visit the 5 Terre.

Breakfast room was a bit small which means that you might need to wait to be seated depending on what time you arrive. Also there is no restaurant at the hotel so you need to go to town but ok there are many restaurants at max 5 min walking

Loved it! The hotel met our expectations and then some. It's the perfect location for exploring the charming city of La Spezia. The train station is within walking distance and a perfect way to experience Cinque Terre. We even took a trip up the coast to visit Genoa. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - everything you could want and more. Cappuccinos! The staff was very helpful and friendly. the only downside was that the internet was spotty and didn't work in our room at all. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting.

Poor wifi connection - needed to go to the lobby to connect. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient. Elevator was rather slow, but it just meant more exercise! Also, shower was a bit tricky to operate. You need to be careful to keep the shower spraying towards the wall, otherwise you'll have a little flood in the bathroom. Once we got the hang of it, it was fine.

Great family room, pullout couch in separate room to BR, was made up when we arrived. Amazing location straight into the shopping strip. Parking right out the front of hotel. Was great for our family will definitely stay again. Hotel had a map with restaurants in hand which was very helpful. Breakfast was great

Charge for cot for the night which I’ve never had before so went without.

Lovely staff at front desk who were very informative and helpful. Great breakfast buffet with eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee, fruit, etc. and gluten-free options when asked. Had a warm towel rack in the bathroom.

One lift (elevator) for a 7-storey building means you wait forever for the lift. No floor numbers in the lift or on the floor to indicate where you are. Insufficient towels and the smallest shower known to man--don't drop your soap!

The location of hotel was absolutely amazing and even though we didn’t have coffee making facilities, our beautiful receptionist Sara provided everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable! would definitely stay again !

To make a suggestion would be probably get another lift installed as one is not enough and existing one is way to slow !

Very comfortable hotel close to the pedestrian mall. Good breakfast and nice cappuccino. Staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all, it has a lift down to the mall level (5 floors below reception).
