If you are looking for accomodation that is in a great location and has so much character and history then look no further.The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and filled with beautiful antiques and family history.There is also a large terrace where you can sit and admire the courtyard garden.Every morning we were served a delicious breakfast at a large dining table which made us feel very special.Francesca and her husband were very accomodating and helpful with any questions we had.We were very happy with our choice of accomodation and would highly recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Lecce.

Wow! What an utterly stunning property! Beautifully located in a glorious building in the heart of Lecce old town (yet only a 10 minute walk to the station). This place oozes so much history and class, it's hard to describe!! What a joy to spend time here!! So grand and airy and bright, with a beautiful plant filled terrace with multiple shady seating areas and great views. Heaven!! Beds were comfy, breakfasts were amazing, with lovely freshly baked treats, fresh fruit etc. The lovely hosts, Francesca and Cosé, were so kind, helpful and attentive. We felt instantly at home and didn't want to leave. Grazie per tutto! We hope to return! 😀

Niente! Everything was wonderful!

A very old but beautiful "palazzo" in the heart of the old town. Large and comfortable bedroom with 15ft ceilings. Francesca and her husband are the most perfect hosts. They welcomed us outside the door and did all they could to make our stay perfect including a wonderful "Lecchese" breakfast! It was very easy to explore beautiful Lecce.

There is no parking in the Old Town. Do not use Google Maps to drive to the address as you will enter the ZTL (no traffic) area and get a fine like me! Francesca can suggest on free on street parking a 6 minute walk away

This was an exceptional stay. The rooms were a lot larger than I expected with amazing furnishings which belonged to the history to the place. The breakfast was huge, very tasty and each day there was something produced that introduced me to a local specialty - a thoughtful touch. In the room was a table with snacks, tea and coffee. There was a lot of thought put into the room down to using bone china cups and saucers on the snack table. The hosts were very welcoming, happy to help you with whatever you needed , pointed our interesting things on a map and there was a lot of information in the room for a tourist to read. This was a better experience than 5 star hotels I have stayed in. I highly recommend staying here.

Despite the fact that we arrived at 1 am, the hosts greeted us warmly with wine and snacks! I have been traveling for years and I have never been so well received, thank you! The room was very clean and well decorated, a private terrace with views of the bell tower of Lecce The breakfast was plentiful and quality and the room is very nice The whole B&B is beautiful! The hosts are exceptionally kind, we will come back because everything were perfect

The Palazzo is a well maintained old property inside the historic centre. The place is spacious and the location is great, as you can just walk around the beautiful city centre from your door. The hosts (who live in the same property) were super friendly and made sure we were comfortable and had a nice stay.

Being directly in the historic centre can be a bit inconvenient if you have a car, but we found a free parking space 5 mins from the property, so it wasn't so bad.

Wow, this is such a fantastic property I don't know where to start. First the warm, welcome greeting by Francesca waiting in the street for our arrival. Some bowls of fresh fruit as a greeting. The large main room & bedroom with very high ceilings. The large patio overlooking restaurant below. The history of the property, many of Francesca's family & ancestors can be found in pictures on the walls. The breakfast was wonderful.... too much to consume. Great location... walking distance to all of historical Lecce. Francesca's utility kit with a 3-prong electrical adapter and other useful things that I can't remember. Lots of maps available to help you navigate.

Getting up/down the stairs with luggage was not the easiest but we're in our 70's. The staircases were wide and the steps nice & flat. Loved opening up the windows but there were a few bugs that intruded. The shower could use a non-slip mat. It slopes a bit for drainage and is slippery when wet. I almost had a fall.

The room was amazing. Very spacious and clean. The apartment is very close (walking distance) to the train station and all the main attractions. Francesca and Jose are incredible hosts. You feel at home. The breakfast is just amazing!!! I highly recommend this accommodation.

It is a beautiful place. Francesca was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were beyond expectations. On one rainy day she provided coffee and cookies, not only for us but for our friends who came in to get out of the rain. And extra wine glasses when we had our friends drop in before dinner. And for our 6am departure she prepared a take away breakfast. The apartment was so warm and cozy.

Staying at B&B Palazzo Sambiasi was quite an experience. The room, facilities, location and cleanliness were superb. Not mentioning here the breakfast that was served from Francesca and her husband, in abundance and style with a lovely music as a background
