I couldn’t fault the experience we had staying at Palazzo Sant'Anna Lecce. Francesca and the team catered for our every need. They suggested on places to visit across Puglia, booked taxis on our behalf, were more than happy to stop and chat with us for hours and always had a smile on their faces. They upgraded our room as it was my friends birthday! The beautiful chef even baked a cake for us and the team sung happy birthday. The Palazzo was seriously the best place we have stayed in Europe and I highly recommend staying here. Facilities are immaculate, everything is cleaned daily and is very sterile. Breakfast is ample with different items on a daily basis, all made in house including: pastries, focaccia, antipasto, eggs and many more. I will certainly be returning as four nights is not enough to explore Puglia. I look forward to seeing the team again. Arrivederci!!

A wonderfully designed Palace with a lot of atmosphere in a fabulous location. The breakfast is indeed excellent and includes, besides the usual, a great and varying selection of local dishes and cakes. We also received excellent recommendation for eating out. Would definitely like to visit again.

Our room was quite dark and it would be nice to have more light to read. Parking is not easy but staff made some very helpful suggestions where the car can be left (about 10 min walk away) without having to move it every day. Our room and the neighbouring one had access to a roof terrace but there were no chairs or tables which would have been nice. They are still working on some sections of the palace so that is maybe still on the agenda.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo, it was well above our expectations! The Palazzo is old and beautiful, nicely renovated with attention to every detail. The staff was amazing, always ready to provide personal attention. We even received a room upgrade for the last few nights of our stay and a complementary bottle of champagne to enjoy on a private terrace! The breakfast was also very good with good variety and fresh delicacies of local produce. It was one of the best holiday stay we ever had!

This was an exceptional experience from the communication and warm hospitality of the gracious staff - Francesca and Matteo - to the incredible rooms and unique decor of the property. Francesca greeted us upon our arrival and made sure we knew were we could park our car. We found free parking nearby on the street and just outside the ZTL. When we got back to the hotel, our room was ready and our bags had already been whisked upstairs by the staff via the elevator so we didn’t have to carry them up the stairs. When we entered the room, we were in a sitting area with a couch and everything needed to make tea or relax. There was a welcome plate of treats on the table for us too and plenty of water in the refrigerator. We thought the first bedroom and bathroom we saw was the master suite, but it ended up being the second room for our daughter. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Our room turned out to be quite palatial! Soaring ceilings and eclectic cool decor. Everything was spotless. Beds super comfortable. Very large and functional bathroom. Spa tub in the master. The entire suite had soaring shuttered windows with views onto a courtyard. Breakfast was served starting at 8:30 am - a traditional breakfast spread of fresh fruit, cakes, cheeses, eggs to order and more. We met the owner Beatrice who is the owner and creative mind behind the beautiful design and decor. She is as equally warm and gracious as her staff. The location of the hotel is great! It is within the old town and walkable to all the sights! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nothing to speak of other than we wish we had planned for more than one night at this very special place! We were told they are in the process of creating 3 more suites and a pool. I am certain they will be lovely!

Great location and on street w no traffic for wonderfully quiet nights. Over-the-top breakfasts! Helpful staff.

The top floor suite has two lovely terraces (which alone might justify the price!), but the room itself looks better on the website. It's priced for luxury, but doesn't quite hit the spot. Wifi didn't work for 2 of 3 nights and they were definitely slow fixing it.

It is an absolutely fabulous place to stay ! The Palazzo is furnished luxuriously with great style You are within the old walled city where it is easy to walk the narrow streets to all the historic places of interest The breakfast is a feast in itself - really wonderful. The highest point is Beatrice,her husband, Matteo,and Sabrina who are charming and think of everything for you - for example my wife and I after travelling for 10 days fancied a day on the beach (40 mins away) - without asking beach towels suddenly appeared ! - also restaurants were booked for us and when needed transport provided - all part of the excellent service they provide their guests. The only word of warning - if travelling by car even with satnav it can be difficult to find - so be prepared !!

I rarely leave reviews because I stay in 100s of hotels but on this one I have to say how brilliant it was and it was the staff which made such difference. Warmly, caring, funny and insightful. Oh and the fabulous breakfast! The sensational room. I wish the hotel and its staff every success.

Fantastic stay in beautifully restored Palazzo with a great attention to detail in design. All staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The rooftop terrace is also a great space to relax after a day of exploring the city.

we liked every single detail about the property; from the spacious rooms to the delicious breakfast; from its interior design to its pefect location. but most significant of all, the staff were extremely helpful and professional. Beatrice, Francesca, Matteo and all the team simply take hospitality to the next level. we will defintely be back and will highly recommend the hotel to our friends and family..

Everything was superb. The staff are amazing and Beatrice the owner is a lovely lady, very kind and cannot do enough for her guests. Francesca was so friendly and did a wonderful check-in and Matteo was so sweet and so obliging. Breakfast is amazing, as is the Palazzo. We chose the smallest suite and on reflection would choose a larger one next time. We definitely will return!.
