We only stayed for a night and arrived late, almost at 10 PM. And then we left the next morning fairly early to catch our flight back to the US, so we didn't get much of a chance to explore the area. But it was very easy to communicate with the hosts, and they were so helpful in arranging a taxi for us to the airport and also pointing us in the direction of a takeout place half a block away for us to grab a late dinner to bring back to the apartment. The proximity to the airport was good, and it was very close to the beach, although we didn't have time to check that out. The beds were super comfy, and they had already made up the pull-out sofa when we arrived, which was so helpful because we were all exhausted. The apartment was absolutely spotless, and the hosts provided water, a bottle of wine, and tons of breakfast stuff for us, which was so thoughtful.

We chose this apartment for proximity to the airport (very short stay) and for the 2 bathrooms (hard to find near Rome), but travelers should understand that both bathrooms are en suites to the 2 bedrooms. This may or may not work for all groups.

Everything was great! The apartment is bright, clean, it has all the necessary stuff: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer, coffee machine, umbrellas (rain/sun)..Big terrace, two rooms with two bathrooms. Also the hosts left for us some snacks and a bottle of wine as a welcoming present. The location is good, 5 min to the sea, 5 min to the train station, destination to Rome. We were met by Katia, very friendly and nice. She always responded quickly if we needed smth. We are happy that we had chosen this great apartment. Would definetely come back again.

The only thing that could bother - the soundproof isn't good. You can hear the neighbours sometimes. But during the night it was quiet. So for us it was not a problem.

Paolo and Katia are amazing hosts! They met us at the entrance to the property and greeted us like old friends. They then took us on a tour of the property to make sure we understood how to use all the facilities and understand what facilities are available. The building, grounds and apartment are immaculate. The apartment had all the comforts of home and very well appointed in terms of decor. The location of the apartment is perfect, with a bakery, takeaway/restaurant and Gelateria/bar less than a minute from the front door, a large supermarket and the Stella Polare train station within 2 minutes walk and the beach within 5 minutes. It was a welcome sanctuary after an epic and hectic day in Rome. We highly recommend a stay at this property for a family or couple. It is also dog friendly as we noted a dog bed and complimentary dog food for your hairy family member. Paolo and Katia were instantly available throughout the stay to answer questions or make recommendations for site seeing/ dining etc.

There were no detractors!

The apartment is modern, fresh, bright & extremely clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need & then more. The bed was very spacious & comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are very modern & again, equipped with everything you’ll need. The lounge is very spacious with a large tv, comfortable sofa & an enormous window that lets in the summer breeze. The apartment offers a large balcony that face different directions so you are able to chase or escape from the sun. It’s fitted with great outdoor furniture & full laundry services. The Paola & Katia are amazing hosts, checkin & checkout are a very easy process. Upon arrival we were met by the host, the air conditioning had been turned on for our comfort & they had also stocked the fridge with water, juice, milk & wine. The location is amazing! 5 minute walk to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, gelato bars and cafes all at your doorstep. The building is well secure & peaceful. We also had use of parking space inside the gated compound of the apartment block. This stay really made our trip special. We will be definitely returning to this property. Absolutely nothing!!

The apartment is perfectly located in Lido di Ostia: only about 5 mins walk from Stella Polare train station, and only about 5 mins walk to the beach. Well located in a safe building, with elevator. Just around the corner you can find a restaurant with excellent Italian food at reasonable prices (Falco D'Oro), a gelateria, a pharmacy and a fruit shop. There is also a Conad supermarket just 5 minutes from the apartment. Paolo and Katia are perfect hosts, very friendly and punctual. Katia waited us at arrival and showed around the apartment. Because we arrived in the morning before the check-in hour, they permitted us to leave the suitcases at the apartment until it was ready, and then allowed an early check-in. At check-out, Paolo took our luggage and kept them until evening, when he transferred us to the airport. Thus, we could enjoy more time at the beach from the first till the last day! The apartment is beautiful, spotless, very comfortable, with a nice modern interior, and well equipped with everything one could want for a vacation. And I really mean everything! A fully equipped kitchen; there is also free coffee, water, juices, croissants, tea, and many others. Two bedrooms (double bed + 2 single beds) with air conditioning. Two modern bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. One super-large sunny balcony. Nice large sofa area. To conclude, I highly recommend this apartment!

The apartment was nice. Grocery shopping is close by. The hosts were really helpful and kind and even ordered a taxi for us that would bring us to the airport on our departure day.

Unfortunately, the in-house neighbors were very loud. The building is very poorly soundproofed. We heard the neighbors walking, talking, debating and one evening even singing. That was the case nearly every evening until 10:30 or 11 pm, which was a bit annoying, especially if you have to get up at 5:30. If you are a bad or light sleeper, I highly recommend you bring your ear plugs.

The host and hostess were absolutely the best. It is 2 blocks from the beach. Walking distance to the grocery store, a local butcher , great places to eat recommended by our lovely host. They greeted us upon arrival with the keys. I would highly recommend this apartment!! Also they have a gated parking area which was a nice bonus.

I don't think I have anything that I didn't like!! It was as advertised and not surprises. Everything was great. I don't have anything negative to say about it

Looks even better than on the photos! Lots space, 2 really nice bedrooms (double bed + two single beds) with aircones and two separate nice bathrooms! Big and bright living room connected with nice kitchen. In the kitchen a lot equipment, everything to cook and even more! Welcome food was very nice surprise, very nice balcony, close to the beach, shops, bar/restaurants and train station, localisation is perfect! And the best: the owners! Very friendly and extremely helpful people! Only one thing was bit problematic: internet, but this is like in most places in Rome. Apart from that, 10/10, definitely highly recommended!

Paolo and Katia are amazing hosts. The flat has everything you need, even enough kitchen basics to make an entire meal in a pinch, without even buying any food. They had toys for our 9 month old son. They met us to give us the keys, show us around, and came back to see us off when we checked out. It's a short walk to the beach, and you can get anything you need in the neighborhood. Free parking behind the building, and easy driving in the neighborhood, a must if you have a car when visiting Rome.

The walls in the building are on the thinner side. You may hear what's happening with the neighbors, giving it a true when in Rome feeling.

Paolo was excellent with communication and met us at the apartment when we arrived. We only stayed the night of our 2 week trip to Italy because it was close to the airport. We wanted something with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, clean and comfortable. Free beach nearby by was a bonus. Safe neighborhood and apartment building is gated so no worries traveling with our teenage daughters. Easy walk to a great restaurant that Paolo recommended. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was essential as the last day we were in Rome hit 100 degrees and very humid. Paolo called and arranged a taxi for us for the next morning to take us to the airport.

Looks a little older from the outside, but definitely modern touches inside with gorgeous tiles in each bathroom.
