The location was really good; about a 7 minute, flat walk from the train station. Also about 2-3 blocks from the metro station to all the tourist sites. Comfortable beds, hot water for showers, good size towels. They also had luggage storage for before the room was ready and after we checked out. Would definitely stay here again!

The shower was smaller than I would have liked (maybe 20 x 20 inches) but the water was hot so not too bad. Only 1 pillow on the beds; I like more, but didn't ask for additional so not a huge deal.

Nice, clean place, good condotions, nice ambience and hotel service, small garden at the hotel, 300 m to railway station- Statione Centrale, vegetable/fruit/fish street market near hotel. I highly recommend

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, and the room was clean and bigger than expected. Lovely staff, and a delicious breakfast! Very close to the central station. The room had everything you could need - from a shower, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, a blow dryer, towels, wifi, bidet, a tv, and even a balcony. I also liked the interior of the hotel; the hallway, specifically, haha.

The bathroom was a little small; when I opened the door all the way it crashed into the bidet. But that was not a problem, really. Just something I noticed.

Hotel's location is really convenient - close to the Central station, and to metro, bus and tramway stations. If you like walking you could go to Duomo square in about 40 mins. The beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and big enough, and the garden, where you can have a breakfast, is really nice. There are also many typical italian restaurants near there where you can have great lunch/dinner.

The only disadvantage is that if you go back to the hotel late at night you should wait for the receptionist to open the hotel door.

Hotel Salerno is a very simple hotel but the staff is so kind and friendly. We were only there for one night on our way home but they were so helpful in trying to book us a dinner reservation and gave us free macchiatos in the morning. It’s very easy access from the train station and close to other public transportation. I would definitely stay there again

The mattresses could have been better but it’s a relatively inexpensive hotel so I wasn’t expecting a very fancy mattress.

This hotel was simple but very convenient for us as it is at walking distance to the central station and we travelled by train. The reception staff was very nice and allowed me a late check-out at no additional cost. Wifi worked well. The terrace is very pretty. Our room was facing the terrace and it was very calm at night which was great.

Room rather small and simple (e.g. no fridge, no hairdryer -but I didn't ask, maybe it would have been possible to get one), bathroom a little old, but really OK for two nights. Just don't understand why the cleaning staff changes the towels and even throws away the open soap every day! (but seems to be the case in many places in Italy?)

A perfect place to spend a couple of days specially if you need to be close to the central station area. You can also find a bunch of restaurants, small supermarkets and some nice cafes nearby. Staff are really helpful and you will receive room service everyday. It was a nice little surprise to see toothbrush and slippers in the room. Another nice touch was about a computer placed in the lobby/stairways area which guests can use in case of need. We didn't get the breakfast so, I cannot say anything about that. We will be back again for sure.

Staff checking in was so friendly for our late evening arrival and kind despite our crying babies with the jetlag!

This was a great choice. The neighborhood is ethnic so plenty of unique food choices along with classic Italian go to's. We had a blast, I would return.

Open for late check-in after midnight, location very close to the Milan central train station, cleanliness, comfortable bed
