Everything! Anthony and Paola’s villa and hospitality was above all our expectations, we loved every second of it and would definitely come back again! The pictures don’t do justice to the villa and view. The breakfast has a wide selection and Jovanna the chef will always make it as accurate for you as possible with eggs at your choice. Anthony and Paola are the nicest people and will read the situation right on spot - they will give you the space if you need it, while being extra helpful and always available for tips on your vacation or just a great conversation. The rooms are specious and super clean, the view is dreamy and the bed is very comfortable. The villas location is perfect and close to all of Tuscany’s gems plus with every entrance and exit of the villa the amazing views will follow you which is amazingly beautiful! Thank you Paola and Anthony, we’ll be back with our baby boy 🖐🏼 and we’re waiting for our picture! :) Send Kobi and the girls our love! Roi & Liane

The property is best described as a villa which is family run by the most friendly, warming, beautiful family you will come across. I’ve never left somewhere and got home and wanted to return again so soon. It’s a snippet of paradise with views of the Tuscan hills. The property has a lot of Italian character. At night you can go to the garden and watch the fireflies lighting up the fields which is just magical. Paola and Anthony organised Truffle hunting with a local family which included a cookery class which was 10/10. They also organised a cycling tour on e-bikes around the vineyards and gorgeous countryside with Massimo which was brilliant. The old reviews I personally would not look at as they are from when there were previous owners. The new owners take pride in what they do and are committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. There simply was absolutely nothing to fault. Thank you Paola, Anthony, Marissa, Coby, Emma and Myla for an unforgettable stay. We will see you again soon.

It was so good we didn’t want to go home.

We had such an amazing stay. Trully a special place where we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The view from the pool and the property's surroundings are spectacular. Location is in proximity to Pisa (1h20m), Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano (1h30m), Florence(20m) and many other points of interest in Tuscany. There is a variety of choices for breakfast, savory and sweet as well. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Many thanks to La Cappella team (Coby included) for taking such good care of us.

By far, the very best travel stay experience we have ever had. The host and service staff were absolutely hands down amazing. They went way over and above to ensure we enjoyed not only our stay but also the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We left not feeling we had many new friends but more like an extended family. You will not find a better value or more caring people anywhere.

Everything was perfect.

Beautyful stay! Marvellous and authentic historic premises with excellent renovation and every contemporary convenience one could think of. The wonderful Toscanese landscapes that frame your hours by pool or short walks under backyard's ancient cypress trees not to mention the breakfast table talks. But that's just the top layer. The warmhearted people that fill the place with considerate service and loving atmosphere are the real gem, that make you want to prolong your stay to enjoy that feeling of welcomedness and being cared for even more. And the kitchen! Someting to make each of our taste buds flicker from joy! I am better not going to try to describe the barbeque evening and wines. Only one small thing: after tasting many of the Italy's real tiramisus, their masterpiece just left us speachless... Haven't had anything like this until. Long story short. We really loved our stay there and the simultaneous feeling of being in an expensive resort while visiting home of dear friends.

Would have loved to walk around longer routes there, but that seemed only possible on paved roads with occasional speeding cars (well, Italy). Some promising field paths to olive groves were blocked by xenophobic signs (though there is still one especial view accessible nearby on the other slope of the same hill). Perhaps some agreement with neighbouring landlords could change that for the guests of the villa?

The villa is at quite location on the top of the hill with amazing views. Paola and Anthony were very friendly and welcoming. We felt more like we visited friends at their home. They gave us many tips for locations and restaurants which made our holiday even better. If you are looking for a place to forget every day hustle and bustle, this is the one. PS: The view from the swimming pool is just unforgetable!

Our hosts Paola and Anthony were warm, helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us book restaurants and plan our tour itinerary. The grounds and swimming pool were a delight. Peaceful surroundings and so picturesque. Breakfast was a banquet and our meals at the villa were delicious. A great experience. We highly recommend this villa. It's more than just a bed!

Villa La Cappella embodies magic, comfort, peace and happiness. The grounds are beyond gorgeous, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is unbelievable - Chef Giovanna takes everything to another level and cooks with love. The location is brilliant to visit things in the Region such as Florence, Pisa and Siena. This was the hardest place to leave and we already miss it very much. It was an experience that we will never forget and we’ve left a little piece of our heart there.

Before we go into detail, the "Villa" is not a "Villa", it's a "Mansion"! This is important to remember, when reading this review! When we booked "la Capella" we did not know what to expect, although the description and review appeared to promise a nice stay! We ended up staying in a 800 years old mansion, with rooms big enough that someone else may build his own house into that room. Everything has class and style of a manor house! Wandering and wondering through the building is great! The proprietors, who just have taken over the property recently are extremely helpful and friendly people. It's not staying at a hotel, it's staying with friends! Now to the basics: Rooms are great (as mentioned) and very clean, beds are a bit on the hard side (which I liked, my wife didn't - well....), breakfast is really good. They have a nice pool, which they transformed into some kind of "infinity-pool", but time of the year prevented us from trying. Location is good. There are many places for visiting and quite some good restaurants in close vicinity! Summing up: Paula, Anthony and staff are great hosts. The building is great (if you're not into fancy new developments) rooms have class, breakfast supplies all you need, and finally location is really good. One word about location: the Villa is close to Montespertoli. Go there! It's not too touristic, but has some good restaurants and is a nice town!

Well, there's not really something we didn't like. All's quite perfect. Remember, the Mansion is about 800 years old, hence some things are not the latest fashion! There's no "walk in shower", but a rather "climb over bathtub". Did I mention 800 years! Wifi may not be perfect in all areas (800 years & thick walls....). Finally, the question I ask myself: Would I come again? Yes definitely. Actually already planning! This is a great place with great people!

The owners, Paula and her daughter Marissa, run the place like their home. They were the most gracious hosts. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with all amenities, and very comfortable. The attached and fully equipped sitting/dining/kitchenette area was a bonus. The villa felt like home. It's a lovely place to chill out and relax. And yes, they have an elevator! so you don't have to drag your bags up the stairs :) There are no restaurants close by, the nearest is a 30-45 minute walk. (A beautiful scenic walk, if you like). Hence having transport is necessary to take you around. On the day we arrived, Paula & Marissa very kindly offered to make us pasta or sandwiches for lunch. You could cook up a meal for yourself if you like, since you have to make arrangements for your lunch and dinner - the attached kitchenette to your room has an oven, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, crockery/cutlery, you just need to get your ingredients. The breakfast was excellent, a good spread, with something different every day. While the location and area are lovely, and the property is beautiful, you must have arrangements for transport if you have to go anywhere. Paula connected us with a transport company that was very efficient. If you go to the town, it's a lovely and scenic 30-45 minute walk, safe during the day but not recommended at night as you have to watch out for speeding cars, although they are few and far between. Marissa very kindly volunteered to pick us up at night from town because it's difficult to get a taxi. The town has some nice cafes and restaurants, there was a festival on while we were there, so we had a great time. Morning walks are beautiful.
