A wonderful villa located on a picturesque Tuscan hill. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, although the breakfasts are just good, not extraordinary. The staff puts their heart into making your stay the best it can be. Special thanks to Paolo!

We were surprised by the additional charges for breakfast dishes. In a 5-star hotel with such high room rates, charging guests extra for items like Eggs Benedict seems at least a strange idea. Although the staff is truly amazing, they cannot adequately service the pool as they are likely overwhelmed with a long list of other duties. A good idea would be to install buttons by the loungers to request service.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with the warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and always greeted us with warm smiles. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lenny, Gemma, Eva, Fabio, and the other wonderful staff members whose names we can't recall. Their hospitality made our stay incredibly special. This hotel was FANTASTIC! The staff treated our family like we were their own. The scenery is a 10/10 and grounds stunning! I can’t say it enough - this was the most luxurious and friendly European hotel we’ve ever picked. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable and were cleaned/tidied each day at the perfect time. Breakfast was tasty and dinner authentic and delicious. We LOVED having lunch at the pool and highly recommend the sandwiches. Highly recommend the wine tasting and pasta cooking class as well - both take place on site and the hosts were so knowledgeable and fun! We had our 7 and 2 yr old along with us and we utilized the babysitter service which worked perfectly! The woman they contracted with brought fun toys and texted us numerous times during our dinner out to assure us that the children were safe and happy. We will absolutely be back!

The staff was wonderful. They catered to our every need and were warm and friendly. The villa itself was beautiful and well maintained. It was a wonderful place to just relax and unwind.

I think there could be a better variety on the menu including snack items for in-between meals. Also, I think there should be more inclusive things included in the room rate.

This is a gorgeous property, and everyone on the staff is attentive and gracious. We loved our stay here. The pictures are very accurate, we stayed here for four nights and spent most of our time at the villa or around the grounds exploring.

Absolutely wonderful!! Most beautiful pool with a view in Tuscany! Close to everything, for sure need a car, but they also have a driver you can use to take you anywhere! Breakfast was wonderful, dinner as well, staff were the highlight!!!

Villa le calvane is a quiet place where you want to stay longer, cosy evenings with a glass of red wine and with fantastic sun sets. The room was spacious and big. Leo the waiter was very polite and diplomatic, almost like all the stuff at the hotel.

The rooms are big but there is few light, the bathtubs have to be renovated as they are not working properly. Breakfast was okay but not too varied. Overall it was a nice hotel, but overpriced for the facilities it offers.

Fabulous vacation. We stayed for three nights in a 2 bedroom suite which was on the 2 nd floor and had the most stunning views of the Tuscan land scape. The staff here is excellent..a big shout out to Claudia, Eva, Lenny, Leornado and all the others for making our stay just perfect. They were all so warm and went out of the way meet our requirements.

Just one thing - a coffee machine/ tea facility in the room!! I woke up early to catch Asia on work but had to wait each day till 730 to get a cup of coffee!
