Rita gave excellent advance information with clear directions. As well as a main bedroom, there was a kitchen area with and basic cooking facilities, a separate bathroom with shower, and a balcony. Room was large but the heating and hot water were both fine and controllable from inside the room. Good cleanliness. WiFi worked well. Central location but not in a main thoroughfare.

Printed instructions for using the heating controller in the room would be good, as it is a bit complicated. I only used the fridge for drinks but it was really a wine cooler, so not suitable for larger items.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Vèra Affittacamere! Rita was incredibly kind and helpful, reaching out to us before our arrival to ensure we had no trouble finding the place. She guided us to the parking lot where we met, and then accompanied us on a short two-minute walk to the building. Upon entering, we were greeted by a stunning atrium, showcasing classic Italian architecture, beautiful flowers, and a charming seating area. Our apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a bright and clean bathroom. The location was also ideal—situated on a quiet street yet just steps away from the main street and the heart of the city. They do offer complementary breakfast, however, we had to leave very early and never had a chance to try it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful from the start. They made check in easy and showed us to the room. The room was simple but updated with a nice bathroom and shower. The location is right in the middle of town just minutes from everything. It is tucked away on a small street so make sure you know where you are going. They have a restaurant open on weekends and the dinner we had there was fantastic. They also run Bottega Vera closer to the Duomo that is open all day. My son loved all the truffle flavors we had there. Overall, very affordable, comfortable, and hospitable.

A very spacious beautifully furnished apartment. Quiet. Bedroom, interestingly is a loft space. Well stocked bathroom with a lot of space and good ventilation. High ceilings, well lighted space - a good thing since there a few windows. We received very good and attentive guidance to get to the apartment. This is crucial if you have a car. Orvieto is a fortress and the streets are narrow and convoluted.

The parking is quite remote, so if you plan to do alot of driving/ touring in the area this might be a little inconvenient. We just stayed inside the city walls so this was not an issue for us except during check in and check out when the logistics of dropping off bags, parking car and getting back to apartment was time consuming. However, Casa Vera Affitacamere have very attentive staff to help with this. I suspect most rentals in Orvieto have similar issues. I must make a special mention: we left some items behind that were valuable to us and casa Vera notified us. They kindly arranged to have them sent to us. Thankyou!

This was our first trip to Orvieto and we were excited to be staying in the centro. Rita managed our communications prior to the trip, met us upon arrival, and supported us during our stay with such professionalism and kindness. The room was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was spacious (including the shower!). Everything we needed was at our disposal. It was clear from the very beginning that our experience at Casa Vera Affitacamere was of the utmost concern of the staff. We would not stay anywhere else in Orvieto!

Rita communicated perfectly with us in English, and met us upon arrival to help with luggage. She then escorted us to the parking garage where they have a reserved spot, at a discount. Our room was perfect, the bed comfortable and the shower stall wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Sabina and her team run a wonderful and cozy boutique hotel.

Good central location, spacious room with cute verandah, compact cooking facilities and decent shower. Staff very friendly.

Heating was a bit fiddly to control, tended to oscillate between too hot and too cold. But not a huge problem, just needed monitoring. For us, the access steps were more of an issue, due to knee injuries since booking months ago. But would not be discouraged from staying here again, as overall a lovely apartment, just would book the ground floor room.

It was exactly like you would expect from a small guest house. The staff was wonderful

Spacious rooms tucked deep inside the old town. Close to the restaurants and shops and important sights. Helpful and friendly staff.

Confusing to find if you're driving a car along very narrow streets. But it's right inside the old town so that is part of its charm. One of the staff walked to find us when we were lost and directed us to the apartment and the carpark.

The apartment was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for our needs. Hosts were gracious and responsive to our needs. The restaurant attached to apartment was excellent.

The only negative is that the reserved parking was a long way from the apartment, at the bottom of the town. We expected a walk, but this was quite difficult to maneuver with rolling luggage, winding side roads and all uphill. Luckily, the host guided us to the parking area and we followed her to the apartment. It was raining when we left, and we were trying to figure out out to find the car. Our host generously offered to get our car and bring to us, which was wonderful.
