This Masseria is situated in the countryside between Ostuni and Martina Franca which makes it perfect for exploring the entire Istria valley . The property is an old farmhouse with numerous characterful buildings set in grounds with a lovely swimming pool . Our room was a large one on the first floor ( reached by an outside stone staircase ) with a massive terrace . It was very comfortable. Downstairs there’s a really lovely cosy lounge for residents with an honesty bar and tea and coffee making facilities which are open all the time. Meals are in the restaurant building just across a lawn. Breakfast is a buffet which had a good and varied selection. Dinners are a changing tasting menu. All the staff whether in reception or the restaurant are helpful and friendly and speak excellent English. Our stay was a really delightful one and we’d recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere Un-formulaic and full of charm.

This is really nitpicking but I think we’d have welcomed a non tasting menu dinner option which might have meant we’d have eaten there every evening and not just one .

The property is stunning and the garden and pool area are wonderful and very relaxing. The rooms are sensational and the communal space is perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

It would be good to also have the option of not having a tasting menu every night, as we would have eaten most nights but a tasting menu is a bit much every evening.

Lovely site in the countryside. Great relaxed atmosphere to the place, contributed by the gorgeous historic buildings and beautiful decor. The staff were very nice. Great service, particularly in the restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner. Lovely touch from Masseria Cervarolo when they presented my husband with a birthday cake at breakfast!

Have become accustomed to free tea/coffee making facilities in most booked rooms so was a little bit disappointed to realise this was missing. There were coffee making facilities in a communal area, however, these were not complimentary. Didn't take a dip in the pool as the weather was not permitting but could see quite a bit of dirt at the bottom.

An amazing stay. The hotel is located in a quiet and picturesque location. On our arrival, we were greeted by the exceptionally friendly staff and shown to our room. The room was amazing, clean and fully equipped. The building itself is charming and has all the facilities you could need. We took advantage on the site restaurant and on both occasions enjoyed great tasting menus along with great wine from the ir extensive wine list. The staff are incredibly helpful, not just with with suggesting wines but providing advice on what to do in the local area. I would highly recommend the olive oil tasting! Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Warm welcome that included help with luggage and personally shown around room and the masseria's communal areas, which was appreciated. Accommodation and surrounds are outstanding. There is great attention to detail and a keen design eye applied to all furnishings that's fully in keeping with the history and location of the property. Evening sea food 'tasting' menu was excellent: high quality, tasty food, well prepared and presented. Staying in a Trulli highly enjoyable and the screeching owl outside the window in the early hours just added to a memorable, special stay!

Would like to see bottled water complimentary in room.

There is not enough time in the day to describe all the wonderful things about this property. It is absolutely beautiful, totally surrounded by olive, apple, and pomegranate trees. The location is perfect, 4 km from Ostuni. We visited 7 different villages/cities that were all incredible and within 45 minutes drive. The rooms are stunning and perfectly quaint. Each morning we were awakened by the birds singing followed by a delicious breakfast. The food was excellent and very affordable. Even after all the beauty of the property, the staff was the real highlight of this property. Every single staff member was warm and overly accommodating. We have stayed in 5 star resorts all over the world, this place is a total gem. If you are looking for an incredible, quaint, one of a kind relaxing experience surrounded by total beauty, this is your place.

Our stay at Masseria Cervarolo in Puglia was the epitome of perfection. It was, without a doubt, the ideal Masseria stay for anyone looking to experience the beauty and hospitality of Puglia. An unforgettable retreat we highly recommend.

Beautiful Masseria and grounds. Great location - 15 mins drive to Ostuni. Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and wine pairing fantastic.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, not a lot of choice if you don't want to eat meat, cheese or cake for breakfast. It would be good if you could order some hot items such as eggs, omelettes, pancakes etc.

We had a lovely stay. The property and surroundings were beautiful! Gorgeous setting in the countryside. Staff was lovely and breakfast was really great. Staff accommodated for allergies. The rooms were fabulous too.

We had little kids and were disappointed with the food options. The adults only had the choice of the tasting menu which is served from 8pm. We did not want to eat this every night and this meant we had to venture out most evenings for dinner which was not convenient for families as there is nothing nearby. Pool was also very cold, would have been great if it was heated. Also the stone floors in the bathrooms can be a bit dangerous when wet.

Breakfast was excellent. Lunch options were great by the pool, the pool was well maintained and surrounding areas. Wine tasting and olive oil tasting were a great idea too.

It would have been really nice to be able to get a glass of wine after 18:00, even if you were not having dinner.
