Elizabetta and her mother were the most, caring, and kindest people I encountered this entire trip! They made me feel at home and went above and beyond to help me when I was struggling with health issues. I will never forget their kindness. The apartment was superior in every way. They provide food, beverages, everything you need. It's a true B&B experience. They even allowed me to wash my clothes! Amazing place, well furnished and cared for. Walking distance to the train station and attractions. Great price for everything they offer. Stay here, you won't regret it!

I can't think of a thing that I didn't like!

We returned to Maria Piddu after 2 years, because we were happy then and nothing has changed now. Excellent location. Large and comfortable apartment with everything you need even for a longer stay. Instead of breakfasts - a perfectly filled fridge with a large variety of products: cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, dry bread, fruit, drinks, etc. No complaints, everything OK. We recommend!

It would be worth replacing the shower cabin (or at least scrubbing it with chlorine) :)

It was very cool that we got the entire apartment and we felt like locals living in Palermo. Although, I am not sure for how long they are going to keep doing this as according to the manager it is due to Covid. Also they welcomed us with a very nice apple cake. In addition, the manager was very thorough and detailed with recommendations. Because it was way above our expectation the place gets a 10/10.

I am all in all very happy with this place and I would highly recommend it but just a piece of advise. We got the food equivalent of 4/5 breakfasts but it wasn't served everyday, all the packaged food was available in the kitchen since day one to eat during the stay. In addition, this is my first b&b in Italy and I am not sure if this is the expectation, but just a heads up, our room wasn't cleaned daily. We loved the way it was, just adding this comment in case the reader is not looking for this.

Exceptionally beauitiful and clean apartment, lots of food for breakfast, welcoming hosts (and Elizabette speaks very good English). It's easy to reach the apartment by foot from the railway station (less than 10 minutes); it's located in the very center of the city, but on a quiet street. I wholeheartedly recommend it to every visitor of Palermo

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is spacious and located in the center of Palermo. Elisabetta is a very kind and hospitable person. She provided us with a gluten-free breakfast, gave us directions for visiting Palermo and Sicily, and was always available for any questions we had.

We liked everything, nice place with italian vibe, good aircondition. TV with many italian channels. Very welcoming hosts who were available 24/7 and gave nice service and advice.

After 9 pm the area outside can be a bit uncomfortable so going out with children in the evening should be with caution

In fact we had the whole apartment at our disposal, located right next to the historical center. Our host gave us a lot of tips for visiting the city. The breakfast was abundant and we could eat whenever we wanted to. There was an AC as well.

The shower was a bit moldy and its doors could not be closed properly. The bed was a bit too soft.

The host was simply incredibly welcoming, helpful and efficient. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, accommodate my request to keep my luggage until afternoon. I truly appreciated the manner they had the breakfast ready in the kitchen for when I woke up, I could find everything there. The juice, the coffee capsules, the milk, the toasts, jam, butter, cereals, etc... She was also super kind to provide me with tips for sites and restaurants to visit. Thank you very, very much for a great stay!

My first impression of the street where the B&B is located was that of slight apprehension, but it quickly became familiar. It is safe, very quiet, close to the station and to many of the key attractions. Nothing more to ask for.

The selection of breakfast goodies was excellent...although we had the apartment to ourselves, the fridge and kitchen table were very well stocked with ham, cheese, milk, tea, coffee, bread, biscuits, jam, Nutella, juice... We did not expect such a good spread. Elisabetta also provided a list of nearby eateries, and Ferro di Cavallo was top notch while being reasonably priced. She was also helpful when we got off the airport train early and even offered to pick us up (although we found our way in the end).

The electricity tripped once! That caused momentary panic, but Elisabetta was able to guide us as to what to do over WhatsApp. That was probably due to our using the washing machine without guidance.

A very comfortable, independent apartment at your disposal. In a great location in old Palermo. You have to reckon with the street and the building looking awful - but that's how it is in the old town. The interior of the apartment - perfectly equipped and clean. The owner left the refrigerator full: jams, butter, packaged yellow cheese, packaged ham, yoghurts, plenty of water and juices, plus croutons, cookies and homemade cake. It would be enough for days, so you don't have to worry about provisioning. I recommend this place without hesitation.
