Location was excellent. Loved the rooftop terrace /bar where we had a drink in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

Staff were most unfriendly on the roofterrace Rooms are old fashioned and in need of updating.

Hotel is an excellent location. The terrace where breakfast is served has an amazing view of the city! Additionally, this was my first solo travel and I felt very secure and welcome thanks to all the friendly staff :)

Saturday night was a bit noisy, but I don’t think this is the hotel’ fault. This was due to other visitors who where quite noisy when walking through the corridors :(

Location was perfect for Palermo sightseeing. Just a short distance from the train station. Clean, comfortable and great breakfast. The only reason it didn’t get a 10 from me is because the elevator was being replaced and the roof terrace was being re-tiled, so seven flights of stairs to breakfast and no access to the best view in Palermo. The elevator was finished the day we left, so no worries for your party, but this review is for MY stay. I highly recommend and will return.

Central location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and a superb restaurant on the top floor for dinner. Views fabulous across old town.

Only one small bottle of water provided with the room. The two other small bottles in the fridge were €2 each. Thankfully Lidl is a short walk away. The ‘hot’ breakfast food was lukewarm to cold at 8:30. Breakfast certainly wasn’t to the same standard as the restaurant in the same location the night before.

This is a quality and affordable hotel. As a guest, you receive a quality room, customer service, basic hygiene products, help with learning the area, and so forth. The hotel is centrally located. There is a nearby grocery store. The hotel is not far from the Palermo Central train station, which has trains to take you throughout Sicily, Italy, and Europe. I applaud the owner for investing money in this quality hotel and offering good customer service, which is lacking in hotels throughout the world.

I can’t think of anything negative to write.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Twice we had to ask the restaurant staff more than once for our capuchinos. When the server brought them, she kind of scowled. We asked for a double bed, but they gave us two twin beds pushed together. They kept separating and we kept falling into the crack. It was painful when our elbows hit the bottom.

The Ambasciatori exceed our expectations. The terrace was wonderful. Too bad that the weather didn't allow us to have breakfast outdoors. The staff were professional, kind and very helpful. There was a lot of noise in the corridors and street noise but that is expected given the location of the hotel on a busy street. We would definitely return.

great location and roof terrace. near to nice restaurants and bars (Osteria Ballata around the corner is fab!). I loved the old lift and didn’t experience any queue problems with it but was on the first floor at the back so easy in and out. nice breakfast, unusual and interesting property, shared with private residents.

nothing I disliked. I would have quite liked a bathrobe in my room. And I’m always appreciative of tea and coffee making facilities. my friend’s room at the front was lighter, larger and with a balcony but it did make it noisier so she had to use ear plugs!!

Breakfast was good, excellent coffee. Fantastic view from the breakfast terrace.

Seems to have a gym, which, however can only be used after 9 because otherwise one might too loud for other guest, which is inconvenient and also a bit weird since the cleaning personnel would have loud chats in front of my room at 7 am.

Room was spacious for a family of three. Location very good to the local restaurants & train station. Breakfast selection also very good and a great view in the morning.

Nowhere really secure to leave your cases should you need to check out and explore prior to leaving the city. Wifi a little sketchy at times when in the hotel.
