This Hotel is situated in an excellent area of Palermo, it is close to the Markets, Restaurants and many historical sites. The Hotel itself was tucked away in a side street, very private and quiet. The facilities were very good and staff very friendly and helpful. It had a real old world charm about it and was beautifully decorated.

Breakfast was fairly limited.

This hotel was perfect. Location, staff, accommodation and the whole ambiance - perfect. The owners- spectacular attention to their guests. You will not be disappointed if you have the opportunity to stay here. Quiet location and everything is in walking distance. Reception is always available. The morning breakfast - you cannot ask for more ; both in selection and attention to the guests at every turn. So very accommodating. We will definitely return when our travels take us to Palermo!

Lovely stay in Palermo. Location was great, pleasant 5-10 minute walk to Teatro Massimo and other central parts of Palermo. Hotel itself was lovely, clean room and good bed. Breakfast was excellent, both the spread and the location on the terrace. Would stay here again on a future visit to Palermo.

We were in town for a wedding, and it was a little tricky if coming home late as no outside key provided, had to ring for reception and wait a while without any response, so were concerned we were locked out. All fine in the end, but might be helpful to provide a key to outside gate for guests.

The hotel staff was wonderful, during breakfast the family makes sure you have everything you need, they make great coffee and they were really nice to our daughter. The hotel director lend us a couple of beach towels to go to the beach, even for the day we checked out. There is always someone at the reception making sure it is secure in the property. The rooms have AC, which was a life-saver in the summer and we had one of the big ones as we were travelling with our daughter so had plenty of space. It is really quite in that area so you can rest without problem. Just 10 min walk to the city centre and they have a parking lot for a very fair price.

We stayed in Hotel Trinacria for 4 nights during our family trip to Palermo. This hotel is an absolute gem. Neither myself nor my family could fault it. From the amazing, kind, friendly staff to the comfortable beds, extremely high standard of cleanliness and fantastic breakfast, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Giovanni Jnr and Giovanni Snr on the reception desk were so helpful and obliging. Georgia and Luca were a wonderful team providing the most beautiful breakfast and coffee on the outdoor terrace every morning. I celebrated my 30th birthday while staying in the hotel and Georgia so kindly greeted us with prosecco and the most amazing cake on that morning, which was such a lovely gesture and truly appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Teatro Massimo, Via Roma, The Cathedral, and plenty of shops bars and restraunts. There is a small convenience store right next door to the hotel, and a pharmacy around the corner. It is approximately 25/ 30 mins by taxi from Palermo airport. Thank you so much to all the staff in Hotel Trinacria, you are wonderful!

The host at reception (Silvia) greeted us warmly and showed us two our two booked rooms for our group of five even though we arrived 1 hr earlier than check in. She kindly explained where we could find good restaurants nearby and gave us a map. This baroque style, cosy boutique hotel is perfectly located in the historic part of Palermo and short walk from the Teatro and Port. Gated parking is available for 20€ per day and we were comforted knowing our vehicle was secured. Breakfast on the cute rooftop terrace was excellent and abundant in quality and quantity and the value for money is superb! Beds are comfortable and rooms are meticulously clean. I will stay here every time from now on. Thank you 😊

This is a beautiful hotel in a very central but quiet part of Palermo. Silvia was so helpful, she gave us amazing recommendations including an incredible pizza place. The breakfasts that they served were great, I wish we there for more of them. Speaking of which, my sister and I had early flights on the day we were checking out, before breakfast started. We asked Silvia if there was anything we could have to go for the next morning. She ended up leaving us each a care package full of breakfast snacks and even gave each of us souvenir magnets! She also arranged our shared taxis early in the morning to the airport. She is one the nicest and most helpful hotel staff I’ve ever had the experience of knowing. Apart from that, this is a wonderful property and we were accommodated as a group of three with three single beds in our room. I would recommend this as a top hotel to stay at in Palermo with great value.

before we started our trip, we read about the problem of parking in sicily and this hotel has its own parking lot which is a big plus. we arrived early and the staff allowed us to park first and checked in in the afternoon. she then explained to us about interesting places around the city which are not far away. hotel is within walking distance to Quattro Canti where all the actions are. there are some restaurants and shops nearby but there are much more choices near Quattro Canti. good breakfast. and when we checked out, she asked us where we were going and gave us information too. very friendly and helpful!

We stayed early June for two nights. Entering the hotel we had the luxury of entering by car right to the inside garage where we parked safe and secure for two days at 20 euros/day. As we entered the room a minor defect worried us, the sink plug was stuck, but this was fixed after a while. The hotel itself is a hidden gem, a small hotel of 10 rooms in an old and almost luxurious style, impeccably cleaned and maintained by a family team who made a great job in client’s satisfaction. Breakfast rich and abundant served on the terrace at a nice ambience (depending on the weather). Staff members more than gentle and helpful. Special thanks to the owner of the hotel, a brilliant young woman, Sylvia. Centrally located it is within walking distance to all sightseeing monuments of the city. A really fine touch of this hotel is the yard on the first floor being surrounded by the rooms, nicely decorated and arranged for lounging and relaxing. The last day on checking out I found a flat tire on my car but my guardian angel Sylvia took over the communication with the road assistance etc and everything was fixed as if by magic. Triskelia and Trinacria were the glorious ancient greek names of Sicilia, but the bright young mother Sylvia gives additional value to the modern history of the place. Staying in Hotel Trinacria fulfilled more than our expectations. Fully recommended

Both my husband and I felt that what really makes this hotel is the staff- all are friendly, accomadating, willing to help guests figure anything out from a place to eat or walk in the city to learning some basic Italian to get around. The hotel is spotless. The decor is Fellini-esque - ornate with quirky touches. The central courtyard rooftop garden is a lovely place to relax as is the upstairs bar where breakfast is also served. Speaking of - the breakfast is copious and the staff go out of their way to explain all the options as well as prepare any kind of coffee you like. I personally found the 'American coffee' delicious and my husband had them prepare a decaf which he thoroughly enjoyed. They provide regular and what they call 'vegetal'milk for capuccinos etc. If they don't have something you like, just ask!!

While our room was a very good size and very comfortable - the one window looked out on a tiny courtyard and as a result the room was dark. There was plenty of artificial light so that was good but in Sicily the sun is so beautiful - next time I would definitely ask for a room on the garden or somewhere the room receives natural light in the day. for just two nights it was ok... and again, it was all spotless and the bathroom had some nice amenities.
