I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was well presented and plenty of choice. Most lovely coffee. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Room was lovely. Radda in Chianti is a beautiful town, views over the Tuscan landscape are exceptional! You do need a car though to explore other areas.

Found bed a little on the hard side. Only thing I was little upset by was that I had emailed the hotel months prior to my stay asking about booking a taxi. I was told to request this on our arrival as taxi need to come from Florence and so that they can get it booked for us. Unfortunately on our arrival we were told taxis come from sienna and cannot be pre booked. We were attending a wedding at the end of the week, therefore we then had to sort this ourselves.

The suite was well equipped with a lovely bath in on bathroom and a shower unit in the other bathroom,there is a separate lounge area with settee,chairs and tv as well as a tv in the bedroom.We parked our car on the Main Street away from the hotel and walked to the hotel,I didn’t fancy driving through a ZTL zone,you do get 15 minutes to drive to the hotel,unload and find a perking spot, down narrow streets to access the hotel.We asked at reception when we booked in where to park and it did take a bit of persistence to get the receptionist to offer directions to the free hotel car park which was located away from the hotel,down hill,the map issued was not very accurate but we found the barrier parking area after a drive around.Radda is a lovely stop off with good restaurants and shops,a fair amount are touristy.

The parking,you have to be persistent to get the details of the free hotel parking.

When we first checked in, we were a little dissapointed. Hotel looks much better on the pictures, in reality it's a different vibe. Considering how much it costs we were expecting more. It looks more like a budget hotel, than a 4*. But staff in the hotel are some of the nicest, most helpful and genuine people I ever met. Mariangela at the reception and the waiter (i can't remember his name) are the reason I'm rating the hotel higher than I would. They made our stay special.

Gorgeous property, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, lovely facilities, amazing restaurant. Just everything about this place was wonderful.

It is a little hard to reach if you don’t have a car so if you are planning on using public transport, make sure you check the schedules very closely and accommodate enough time to make the bus to take you here otherwise you will end up paying about 90 EUR for a taxi.

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The bed was a bit too hard for me. Shower could have been more powerful. The friend who had a room to himself at the top of the hotel was not provided with any tea & coffee facilities, we should have probably said something but he just came down to ours if he wanted a cup of tea.

The hotel has bags of character and the staff were extremely helpful. It is situated in the heart of the ‘town’ which is very picturesque

The only thing to be aware of is that the spa is not in the hotel itself, it is a separate location a short walk from the property and needs booking which is a bit restrictive. We were looking forward to using the facilities but unfortunately the availability was a but limited given our schedule. I would recommend trying to book in advance via the hotel if that is possible

Very nice room, spacious and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. We really liked that they have kept some of the original feeling through the paintings on the walls and ceilings. We have tried the spa experience and were satisfied with it.

We stayed for 9 nights. The location was lovely, in a quaint little town called Radda in Chianti, central to many wineries and other cities in Tuscany. The breakfast every morning was great, plus fresh espresso / cappuccino to start our day. We worked remotely while we were there, and the wifi was strong enough to handle video calls. We enjoyed the indoor pool a short walk away, and the outdoor pool was stunning (a short drive away at their sister hotel). You will definitely need a car in this region, but free parking is pretty easy to find. The staff at Palazzo San Niccoló are super helpful, and they accommodated us leaving a day earlier than booked when our travel plans changed.

The tub in our bathroom and the air conditioning unit leaked. However, the staff got the air conditioning fixed pretty quickly. And since it's a hotel, the cleaning staff kept our bathroom tidy and mopped when needed, so it wasn't a big problem! In general, the hotel was very clean and modern with old world touches.

Superb hotel in the middle of Radda. You can load and unload a car outside the hotel and the street parking is just around the corner, so very easy. Dinner in their La Perla restaurant is just around the corner and the food was excellent. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely.

We didn't had time to use the spa! .. Next time we will stay longer!

Even if the place wasn’t located in a historical building and a charming village, the staff alone would worth all the stars. Everyone from the reception to the breakfast bar and the Spa went above and beyond to assist us in every way (and we were a big group with many requests :) ).
