The location is very stunning with views on the Chianti hillside by the pool and restaurant. Parking is provided free of charge and the hotel is conviently situated in Radda in the middle of Chianti. The beds were very comfortable and the room had the charme of the old time but with modern facilities. The pool side is very comfortable with chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel is situated by the main road so choose your room accordingly. The food served at breakfast and at the restaurant could be a bit more modern and water should be provided freely throughout the day.

The property is so beautiful and charming. Beautiful inside and loved the historic feel. Property is right on the main street leading into town and everything is so close by. Staff were so helpful and kind, happy to help us book tours and activities and especially help with luggage, which was amazing given the historic building with all its beautiful staircases. Room was so spacious, massive bathroom and charming details. Breakfast was incredible, absolutely delicious every morning.

This is not a criticism as we loved the property, however beware mindful that it is in Chianti region, and it does require a car to get to. Our plans changed and we no longer had a rental car so cost of taxi to the property was ~150€. Staff are also happy to book car service for you, however it’s around the same price. Do not let this deter you as the hotel and region are all incredibly wonderful and worth the trip!

Everything! Fab hotel close to the centre of Radda with parking. We had a wonderful, ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the Tuscan hillside. The decor was traditional with an unusual but lovely feature, tiled ceiling. The staff were all so friendly & helpful. Really great breakfast selection. We didn’t have dinner there, but it looked lovely. The swimming pool was great too and looked out over the countryside. Definitely would recommend.

Nothing, we loved it all! If you like a contemporary modern hotel, then I can understand some of the reviews saying the rooms were dated but we loved the traditional feel to it as it suited the location.

The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. When learning that it was a round birthday for 2 of the group and asking if there’s something they could do, we got a free upgrade, which was extremely nice. The house itself is extremely cozy, has several little rooms where you can have a glass of wine and read or chat. They also have some games you can borrow. The pool area is also very nice, even tho it’s seen better days. But still, super nice. There is also a little pool bar that has all you need.

The restaurant staff could have been a bit more attentive and friendly. The breakfast was nice but a bit small.

We were returning after many years and it really didn’t disappoint. The property is in perfect location on the edge of Radda and with a large car park. It has a personal, family run feel and we immediately felt welcome. The lady on reception is an absolute gem!! We were lucky enough to have Suite with a small balcony that felt like we had an apartment to ourselves - wonderful views. Yes it has an older style of furnishing but that really adds to the charm. And the Restaurant was just great the steaks out of this world and served with great style and a big smile!! Loved it - we won’t leave it so long until our next visit.

The room itself was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I loved having 2 pillows. We asked for a quiet room and the staff provided it - so they were very accommodating. They also helped us find a wine-tasting place. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. If you come with a car, don't worry about the parking spot. We didn't use much pool but the view from there was really nice (looking at the Chianti hills) and you can hike from here. It takes 5min to get through the whole town from here.

Nothing really negative. We did expect though spa to be included in the price since it is in the name of the hotel.

the breakfast was wonderful - fresh blueberry juice and pomegranate juice ... and cappuccino or expresso made to order... yogurt with fresh fruit and oatmeal to mix in and variety of baked goods, cheeses and meats.. a very italian breakfast. the views spectacular...

I would have liked to see larger shampoo, conditioner and some moisturizer in the bathrooms for us to use. since there weren't a lot of electrical outlets, perhaps lamps that have USB chargers in the base.

Great location for visiting Chianti Classico wineries. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially in arranging for a personal winery tour and lunch at two very good and quite different wineries. Plenty of free parking available at the hotel, unlike the rest of the small town. Easy walk into town center(5 minutes) for restaurants and shopping, though I highly rate the hotel restaurant too. The hotel is located in a beautiful and comfortable area of Radda in Chianti. The little town only 200m away has lots of small bars, restaurants and a delicious deli that houses lots of cheeses, charcuterie and local wines. The accommodation has the most delicious and fresh breakfast of all of our stays in Italy. The first place to serve eggs and fresh fruit! The staff are super welcoming and accommodating. Always checking to see if there is anything else they can do to better our stay. The views are undeniably gorgeous and exactly what you want to see when in the gorgeous Tuscany. The spa looks great, however ensure to book early as there are limited spots.

When we booked the accommodation, the images on the linked room that we booked showed a balcony. We were in Tuscany for a special occasion and this was one of our main criteria when selecting accommodation. When we arrived, our room did not have said balcony. We went to reception to discuss the booking and were told that each room that was the 'standard suite' was different due to the nature of the building. This was disappointing. We were told the only option was to upgrade as there were no other available rooms, which is what we ended up doing.

The hotel and facilities were really amazing. Rooms were spacious and well serviced. The pool was perfect with an amazing view. Buffet breakfast was a great option with a lot of variety and a gorgeous view. The staff were very helpful and available to organize reservations as this is a list in Radda

Restaurant was struggling. We walked in mid way through the night and they had their staples not available. For a ‘kingdom of steak’ to not have steak available an hour into the night is quite peculiar. The waiter also told us they were out of bread yet people seated after us by a different waiter continued to be offered bread.
