This is a gem of a hotel! The host Margherita is absolutely lovely, one of the friendliest people I ever met! She provided us great recommendations for activities nearby as a local of the area. Since we came when not many tourists were there, she also upgraded our room to the suite free of charge. The room was very clean and spacious, including a dining table and kitchenette, and very big bathroom. I thought the hotel feels new based on how clean and well kept the furnishings are! We were able to make ourselves several meals since the kitchen had everything necessary. Although no breakfast included but you can order homemade breads and they will deliver directly to your room every morning. It was perfect for us since we needed something quick in the morning before going hiking/climbing. The location is also very nice, a quaint serene town, which we prefer to the larger more commercial towns. Private parking lot outside as well.

The location is superb; it is a nice, quiet mountain village. We loved the wooden interior and small wooden ornaments in the halls. The apartment was lovely with everything that you need.

The couch could be more comfortable. It was not indicated that the recycling bins are on the balcony, we discovered that on the morning of our check-out and went to distribute our common trash into the containers.

Margherita and her husband are extremely friendly and helpful hosts. The facilities are new and well maintained. Furniture is of good quality and kitchen has a wide range of high quality utensils. Location is perfect for going to Marmolada - longest ski slope in the Dolomiti area and Civetta - great for long blue slopes. I can definitely recommend the Sol E Nef and would stay again.

Wonderful location, close to multiple beautiful peaks. Great view from the balcony. The owners were very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had a good temperature. Plenty of parking in the side of the building. Small but nice garden with some swings for the little one. The windows are very good at isolating the noise of the river outside if you don't like it. Had a coffee machine and you could buy extra capsules from the reception at a reasonable price. Well isolated rooms, could barely hear other people in the building and the curtains were ok.

Would be nice to have some condiments in the kitchen, at least some salt and pepper so that you don't need to buy a whole pack. The shower is quite small and there is room in the bathroom to install a larger one.

Perfect mountain view from the balcony. Great apartment. The owners- I cant explain in words how good people they are. Me, my husband and child were stuck with our car in a blizzard at the mountains and Carlos and Margarita saved us literally!! Carlos drove to pick us up and the next day he went and got our car for us from the mountains. Recommended!!! You wont regret.

The apartment is very nice and tidy. It is cleaned very well (every day) and everything you need is there. Besides, the apartment is heated very well, so you will not get cold and your wet skiing clothes will dry perfectly. Carlo & Margherita are VERY nice and helpful people and are always there for you. After only one week in the apartment, to me, they already feel like our (new) Dolomiti friends! We would really recommend other people to stay with Carlo and Margherita and enjoy their beautiful apartment building, but above all their excellent service and nice way of interacting with you as a guest. When we will visit Sottoguda again we will definitely visit Carlo an d Margherita!

We loved our stay at Sol&Nef. The owner was very kind, welcoming us and giving us lots of information about the surroundings. We had booked a studio, but she showed us to a beautiful apartment. It's prettier than the pictures, very well equipped and super clean. After weeks of camping, this apartment had everything we could wish for. There are some restaurants nearby and we did a beautiful hike near Marmolada.

Extremly hospitable owners are ready to help with all your needs. Thank you, Margherita. It is a nice place for your winter vacation in the heart of Dolomites. There is a possibility to order fresh bread for breakfast, good location with minimarket and restaurants close. Very clean and comfortable room.

It seems to be hard to reach this location in wild snowy winter. Or you should have a good car for winter conditions. Anyway, it is worth going there.

The host was so kind waiting for us althoug we have to check in after midnight. The apartment is not big, but very comfortable furnished with all you need. There is a small restaurant nearby with huge pizzas and good wine at fair prices. Funivia Marmolada is only a few Minutes away by car.

They cleaned our apartment every day after we went skiing, owners were very kind and willing to help you, giving you advices,... There was a big parking place, elevator, ski room, optional fresh bread in the morning to your apartment,...

Well, i was sleeping on the couch zofa and it wasn't very comfortable. Especially when you are tired of whole day skiing.
