Amazing location! Situated on a street leading to the Colosseum, just a 7 to 8-minute walk away, and even visible from the street. Conveniently close to the metro and centrally located near major attractions. To top it off, there was even a wine bottle waiting for us inside! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the interior was wonderfully cozy.
There was no elevator, and the stairs were very narrow, making it a bit challenging to carry luggage, but this was expected in an old building.

There was no lift so If you have a big luggage it mught be a problem to take it to the 3ed floor. The check-in process is described well, I didnt face any problems all instructions were clear. They are responsive when you text regardng any questions or issues.
There wasn't all the facilities in the room, for example if you need an iron you have to take from the corridor, but what if another guest is already using it. They change the towels and bed sheets but I didn't notice that the floor is cleaned as well.

Exceptional location, warm welcoming staff, good air con, plenty of towels, good communications prior to arrival, walkable from the Termini, easy to retreat to when it’s gets too hot to be out. We were there in a heatwave and it’s madness to be out at the peak of the day so to be able to retreat and save your legs for the evening when it’s cooler. Nice popular restaurant nearby.
Not much really, it would have been nice not to have to climb sixty steps to get to the room but they can’t do anything about that. Maybe they could negotiate getting the lift working ? This was all known prior to booking so not a shock just a struggle for older legs. We were travelling light so not a big problem for us but I can fully understand those travelling with suitcases being a bit miffed.

The location was great, and so was the bed and restroom. On our first day I was able to walk around, grab 4 squares of pizza for 7 euros and eat in front of the colosseum. Every landmark is walking distance, so this place was great for the value!
The door. It's fine once you get used to it, but learning how to open the door was a bit of a learning curve. I also highly HIGHLY suggest you don't bring a checked bag. It's three flights of stairs to get to the rooms, and even though I knew not to bring heavy luggage to Italy, I still did because Rome was a stopover to my 6 month long study exchange. I was able to carry a 50 and 20 lbs of luggage up and down the stairs, so if you still decide to, it's doable.

The location was excellent and although small, the room was clean and tidy.
The hotel was at the top of three flights of steep, winding staircase. Which was extremely challenging with heavy suitcases, even for someone who is reasonably fit. There was a small elevator, but it was only for residential use. The bed mattress was oversized for the small double bed frame, which made it difficult to sleep on without rolling off the bed and waking up hanging over the edge or almost on the floor.

Great communication. Malina was extremely helpful. Location was absolutely perfect. Piazza della Madonna de Monti is right outside and is the heart of the neighborhood. There are many great options for food, wine, cocktails, coffee, dessert and sightseeing within walking distance. The colosseum just down the street and in sight as soon as you walk out. The Forum is in sight a block away at Via Cavour.

HQH Colosseo is such a cozy place, with very good energy. I loved every second of my stay. Everyhin is super clean and tidy. I loved my room, it had such a beautiful view. The host, Malina, welcomed me so generously and was always there to help. If I come back to Rome I will stay here again.
You can see that the place is older cause it has some demages on the wall paper. Also I felt like the air conditioner Is not as good, but

The location was unreal. Walking distance to many landmarks with the Colosseum at the end of the street. Our host was also amazing, she stayed up until 10pm to assist us when our lost baggage was dropped off and the rooms were cleaned daily.
The walls are very thin so you have to remain very quiet and it can also get a bit noisy with people coming and going.

It is in a really convenient spot, and even at night you felt safe. You are really close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. There are quite a few bus stops nearby. The girls at the reception were pretty nice and informative. The room provided a mini fridge and a hair dryer which is helpful.
There is no elevator, we were on the 3rd floor. We did not mind, but if you struggle with stairs, consider it.

Good location. We received a room upgrade which was good, because the upgraded room was quite small.
Reception staff were a little ‘remote’. Check in could have been simpler: received an email (which I responded to, but reception could not find); door to street is locked and you need to buzz them - just include that in you check in details! Coffee was ‘rationed’ and facilities were in the reception, not the room. Also - no glasses for water, why? No help with bags up 3 flights of stairs.
