I think this is the best luxury hotel in Rome for people who value real quality over fake appearance.

I like everything about palazzo dama. The staff is excellent in every way. The food, the pool, the spa , the room, the vibe, the location. This place is flawless.

Hotel was beautiful, location is nice. Pool in the middle of the city was like hidden gem. Stuff was very kind and helpful, if you have any problems or wishes they will solve them. Bed was the most comfortable ever. Bravo 👌

This hotel is extremely exceptional! It’s designer paradise tucked away from the madness of Rome. The pool was superb. I’m a lap swimmer and I just loved it. Soft water and amazing temperature. The hotel area was quiet. It felt calm and peaceful. More of an adult hotel which I loved as no children jumping in and out of the pool. Staff were delightful. Breakfast perfect. Fabulous location. Given the heat it was so awesome to spend the afternoon back at the hotel, in the pool, then a poolside drink afterwards.

From the moment I was greeted by the friendly staff after I hopped out of my taxi I knew that the Palazzo Dama was a hotel a cut above the rest. Amazing design and finishes throughout the hotel and the rooms were exquisite. Loved the artwork prints through and the bathroom finishes were great. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in too and their pillow menu allowed you to browse a number of different pillow options. The pool area and facilities were most welcome given how hot Rome is during the summer months.

Nothing, everything was as expected.

We had a big problem with the very loud disco music in the evening in the garden, we don't understand why this is necessary, the garden is so beautiful and I swear nobody really wants this "noise" it was particularly noisy the evening of wednesday 27th of July and although we asked to put it a little more loud, the lady at the disco pult continued, fortunately she stopped at 10 pm

The customer service was excellent. Staff were friendly and approachable and happy to make restaurant reservations and call taxis. The laundry service was efficient and high quality (although quite expensive). The bathroom was large with good quality plumbing fixtures. We were able to screen cast to the TV from our phones. Location is excellent - really close to some great restaurants and landmarks. Pool area is lovely on a hot day. Bed was very comfortable and good blockout curtains. Public areas are really beautifully decorated.

The shower was quite dirty with black and pink mould on walls and floor on the mosaic tiles.

Above all… the bed. Probably one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, so much so that my wife and I have requested the details of their suppliers. Just… wow! The style of the interiors and the courtyard with the pool. Food and drinks at Pacifico were amazing even though I don’t fancy fusion cuisine.

Can be a little noisy due to its proximity to the lungotevere. Not a buggy in August given most of the locals desert the city to go on holidays, but I suspect it would be a lot worse in other months.. I happened to use the (male/disabled) toilet of the lobby, which I found quite neglected: wobbly seat, no soap to wash my hands (had to sneak into the female one to find some, only to realise that the outer area had more sinks and soap!). Overall, a little pricy given the location and all of the above considerations.

We stayed in the top Dama Suite, and it was well worth the expense. The balcony overlooking a busy and bustling Rome was so relaxing. The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant was above average, and the tables by the pool were perfect for a quiet relaxing evening. The weather was warm, so the pool offered a welcome refresh after a busy day sightseeing. The suite itself was well appointed, and the bathrooms were fitted out perfectly. And then the balcony 😍.

Just one thing to call out that my wife drew a bath and the water did not have the searing heat that she expected. I'm sure a small tweak on the hot water supply will soon render that resolved. Everything else was perfect.

Very clean & welcoming hotel in close proximity to the centre of Rome. Staff excellent.

Slightly noisy with construction going on opposite the hotel from around 7 am in the morning. I had assumed the spa facilities were included by they weren't. Additional cost of 50 euros per person per day. Wish I'd checked the small print as could have saved a fortune & stayed somewhere else. Outside pool not heated & too cold to use - stayed at end of September 2024.
