This is not a B&B, This is a genuine hospitality experience I have never felt before in any of my trips which are so many! The Bonanni family take care personally of their guests and makes sure everyone feels at home starting by serving a very generous breakfast themselves and not ending with tips and hints about the hidden gems in Rome. Carolina helped us in finding tickets to the Vatican museum, booking a taxi to the airport, .. Alessandra is such a wonderful lady in every aspect who makes you feel at home and with whom you can engage in a great conversations about history, art, architecture, .. she made sure we have breakfast the last day we left even though we were leaving earlier than the breakfast time This is definitely will be my first choice to stay in Rome every-time I go there

Trastevere Colors is the perfect place to stay, close to the cosy area of Trastevere with its wide range of restaurants and outdoor seating. The accommodation is within walking distance to the major attractions such as the Pantheon, the Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain, and on the way there are so many more sights and beautiful buildings to explore. We stayed in the suite and had breakfast (yogurt and muesli, egg, bread, croissant, juice, tea and coffee) served to the room every day. The area is quite quiet and it feels safe to move around even at night. The hosts, Alessandra and Carolina, are the loveliest! They know the surroundings well and are more than happy to advise on everything you need. We will be more than happy to stay at Trastevere Colors next time we go to Rome!

The bed was a little hard but otherwise everything was perfect.

The breakfast was OK, quite a variety of breakfast drinks, croissants, yoghurt, cereals, fruits etc. We had our tea-making facilities. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The quartier Trastevere is quite the best place to stay in Rome, being close to everything and at the same time far from the noisy crowd. Nice restaurants around.

In a quieter neighborhood with many good restaurants nearby. Within walking distance of the main sights. Very warm welcome by the owners who were always ready with help, advice and information. They made us feel like honoured guests in their house. A special mention here to Alexandra, mother of Carolina who was exceptionally lovely.

On first sight I was disappointed with our room considering how much it cost per night; the single beds were narrow but comfortable, the shower had a curtain, not a glass enclosure. However, after one day I happily changed my opinion and was very pleased with my choice. Hotels in Rome are expensive and Colours was in line with the average for the time of year.

The location was great. Restaurants and the Tiber river were all walking distance. Our host Carolina was absolutely lovely. She coordinated transfer to the airport and got up earlier to make sure we had fresh croissant before we had to leave for our very early flight. What a nice gesture and beautiful way to end our trip to Italy.

Excellent location in Trastevere. We love that neighborhood--much more "local" in flavor than central Rome. B&B is in very quiet side street so you will get a good night's sleep. Hospitality from family is a 10--so welcoming and eager to please and to have you as their guest. You will get comfortable, clean accommodations which delivers great value for the money. Just don't expect the "Ritz." Very easy to take train from FCO to Trastevere station then very short bus ride to within two blocks of B&B. Overall Rome is obviously a very busy city so again I would point out the quiet but very central location in Trastevere of Trastevere Colors. Short walking distance to many restaurants.

The breakfast which included wonderful fresh melon, yogurt and coffee was great. The baked items, croissant and bread, not so much. Didn't taste fresh.

We really enjoyed our trip to Rome and staying here was great. Carolina and her Mum, Alessandra are superb hosts and lovely people. They helped us with so much great advice and even provided us with maps and where to go for the best restaurants. The area is so nice on an evening, with a great selection of superb restaurants and bars. Yet it’s near enough to all the main attractions. The property is well maintained and very clean. The breakfast is very good and we really liked being around one large table, so had the opportunity to talk to some of the other guests. We would highly recommend staying here.

Charming property in a very convenient location near shopping, dining and groceries. The rooms are cutely decorated and clean. We were in the purple room at the end of the hall so very quiet. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. There was a small view of a courtyard. What really made the place a 10, though, was the host. We felt so welcome. We were in town to move our daughter into a nearby apartment for a study abroad program. The lovely host welcomed her to join us for breakfast even though she wasn’t even a guest of the hotel and then helped us with some area information and bus passes! She made the whole experience wonderful and the interactions shared over breakfast made the trip feel so much more personal. The breakfast was very tasty as well!

Family-run B&B in a quiet corner of Trastevere, situated on the 1st floor. Area may look a little run down but felt safe, lots of locals out and about in the evenings. Excellent communication with Carolina. The bedroom/bathroom spacious and very clean; comfortable big double bed; quality sheets and towels; kettle for tea in room + bottle of water; pictures on site true to life. The European breakfast is generous & includes prepared fresh fruit; wonderful sweet croissants, bread / boiled eggs /assortment of jams / breakfast cereal. The property is near many restaurants / cafes, away from tourist area & frequented by locals; 20 min. walk to Piazza Campo de' Fiori, food market and bakeries. Very well situated close to several bus routes and a tram which made traveling to the property from the airport / Termini rail station or into city center very easy. 2 min. from property bus 3NAV / 75, (Induno stop) takes you to the Colosseum; across the Ponte Sublico bridge 7min walk from propery, bus 83 (Lgt Testaccio stop) takes you to the Barberini Palace or the Borghese Gallery Museum and park or Bus 23 ( Emporio stop) to the Vatican city. Maps and advice provided by Carolina and her mother. Nearby Aventine hill and Giardano degli Aranci (Orange Garden ) with views over Rome to the dome of St Peters. What made the stay was the warm friendly welcome from Carolina and her wonderful mother Mrs Alessandra who prepared breakfast every morning for us, chatted to us and other guests in English and French and made us feel part of the family. At end of stay able to leave our luggage in the property and pick up just before we left for the airport. Would not hesitate to stay again if we visit Rome in the future.

Shower cubicle was a step up onto a platform ( a little care required getting in and out) rather than floor level and had a shower curtain rather than glass screen but a good size with plenty of hot water and some power to it so showering was good.
