Lagacio is a beautiful, high end lodging in the heart of the Dolomites. Staff was exceptional and helped us take advantage of lift and transportation deals in the area. Breakfast was fantastic, with Erika talking with us each morning about the best hikes, lift rides and access to hiking, and what the most scenic drives, hikes, etc were. This extra "local" info really helped make this one of our best stays ever in Europe. San Cassiano is the BEST place to stay to explore the Dolomites - short drives to Corvara, Val Gardena, and Cortina de Ampezzo. Strongly recommend you stay here when in the Dolomites.

Can't think of anything they could have done better, this stay exceeded our expectations at every level.

We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. The view from our room across to the mountains was absolutely beautiful. It's just a shame you've got to overlook a car park. The shower was hot & powerful. The staff here were super attentive & friendly. They also spoke good English. We have never stayed in a hotel with the choice of breakfast as good as here. There is so much choice - we wanted to try everything, but it just wasn't possible. We would definitely stay here again.

Signs in the room about towels being replaced that weren't followed. We chose not to put ours in the wash basket for washing, yet they still replaced them. It's not good for the environment or necessary to change towels daily.

There is nothing we didn't like about this place. It was absolutely perfect. I've stayed in many places and different types of accommodations all over the world and this is easily one of the top spots. Just incredible to see such thought, love, and care put into a place. Would stay here again without second thought!

This is VERY minor, but some sugar and maybe even olive oil in the kitchen would have been a nice touch (they had salt and pepper).

Everything was so perfect, one of the best hotels i ever stayed in and i stayed in alot of hotels, the breakfast was exquisite we had two rounds of breakfast everyday and the granola bars were so so good. Also the attention to details in the suite was out of this world i love how they paid attention to the little things, honestly i don’t know how this place is rated as 4 stars i would give it 10 stars in a heart beat.

Nothing it was the perfect

One of my best experiences in a hotel, the staff was wonderful, the cleanest, the excellent food, placed in the main street of the nice town. If you visit dolomites and you want to be in this area, this is the right hotel for stay.

Nothing to say, over my expectation. If I come back to Dolomites I will stay in this hotel, 100 % SURE !!!!!

We came back after 11 years and the Hotel still looked like it opened yesterday. The upkeep and attention to detail is really outstanding The apartment is very comfortable and cleverly designed. The staff is very friendly and helpful The breakfast was fabulous Twice a week you can cook a meal with ingredients prepared by a chef [ we ordered a vegetarian meal] it was so plentiful that it was enough for another day

The combination microwave oven was difficult to use without proper instructions, a handle above the bath would be helpful, but these are minor issues within the overall fantastic experience.

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered without exception, they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Location is also 1hr from all the good hikes. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Nothing - amazing!

Excellent , convenient location. All staff are really very helpful. The bar is really lovely , a great asset , and the barman Davida very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean , possibly the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at . Breakfast was delicious.

Hot tub would have been a very welcome addition , although there is a hot tub , new for this season , it was out of action the entire week. Not informed beforehand that under 16s were not allowed to use sauna .

The room was large, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Every amenity we needed was right there. Breakfast was included and better than most continental buffets we’ve experienced. The staff was happy to accommodate personal requests such as made to order eggs. we especially liked that tables were assigned, so there was no hunting for a place to sit as can sometimes happen.

We couldn’t find a thing we didn’t like. Truly the best property we’ve ever booked through Booking (around 40 properties over the last 10 years).

The property was clean, the room was large, my partner enjoyed the tub, and our first floor room had two doors which opened to the balcony. the staff was friendly and we appreciated the welcome drink and having tea on the lobby balcony. There is no dinner at this hotel but we did appreciate them getting us pizza from a local restaurant.

The spa was quite dark and did not have a view, and the hot tub was a bit dirty and right next to a room in which the guest had to come outside and tell us to stop talking (we didn’t realize a room was right next to us). The room itself had a nice view but the car park was still visible and the view was partially blocked by another hotel next door. Overall, it was a lovely property but didn’t have the “wow” factor that we had hoped for and we expecting based on the photos and reviews.
