This place is just super homely, exceptionally clean, very comfy, quiet and first and foremost with a very friendly and welcoming crew - they all do a great job. Property had lovely grounds and nice private beach (with all the amenities). After spending a few days in Palermo, it was very refreshing being away from the hustle bustle and experiencing more slowly paced Sicilia. You can not realy get food by walk (lunch, dinner). PS Watch your tasty breakfast (or own dinner) on the terrace, cats are around.

Simply wow, amazing experience thanks to Danielle and his wife. Private sandy beach, perfect for swimming. No annoying sailers or loud music. Good system where you get assigned to beach bed and you keep it during your entire stay. The room has everything one might need. We really appreciated a basket to bring towels to the beach. Also, everything is made thoughtfully including hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or place to put shower gel while taking shower. So often those little things are missing. We enjoyed a lot breakfasts in the small garden. Great that the hotel has everything to cook because one time we couldn't get food at the restaurant (everything was closed) and i had to cook myself. Good parking And of course the hospitality of Daniele! He even called the restaurant to check if it was open for us and found a restaurant for lunch, which wasn't easy. Wish Daniele and his wife success in their business and hope to come again

Maybe coffee and tea could have been better. We bought tea in the supermarket and had our own.

Everything! From the moment Emanuela greeted us warmly as we parked we felt relaxed and welcomed. Tonnara is an idyllic find on the beautiful southern Sicily coast. The accommodation has been really well converted and designed. The gardens are gorgeous and the beach! A 2 minute walk from your front door to the fabulous beach where your allocated loungers are ready and waiting. The public areas both sides are clean and tidy too and when we stayed the sea was like a warm bath - wonderful! A handy straw basket with beach towels is provided. Breakfast is delivered every morning to your patio area. This is a wonderful alternative to a busy, noisy hotel. It is has a small and exclusive feel and is so peaceful and relaxing. I can’t praise it enough! The nearby town of Sciacca is beautiful too. Spotlessly clean. Packed with ornate historic buildings to admire, all sorts of shops and fantastic places to eat. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely return.

The staff (particularly Lorena) were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfasts (pastries, packaged toast, drinks and fruit) were good and plentiful. The grounds and rooms were immaculate.

Daniele was a delightful host, very friendly and readily available if we needed anything. The Tonnara was a great base for our trips to Agrigento and Selinunte. It is a neat and quiet pretty little development out of the main town of Sciacca. It was delightful to have a breakfast box delivered to our little terrace each morning with a selection of fresh bread and bakery goodies plus yoghurt, fruit, juice and coffee - plenty to take for a picnic while out and about. The private beach was immaculately kept with very clean and modern sun beds/sun umbrella etc. and a lifeguard on duty. It was good to have a basic kitchen to make a simple supper if we wanted to, and a place to eat and relax outside. The apartment felt very secure and safe.

Nothing really. It's quite compact but very practical for a short stay. The sea here was a bit rough for safe swimming but fine for paddling and relaxing. You do need a car here to get out and about.

Do yourself a favour and book your stay here! Facilities are great, modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Wifi works really well. Direct access to a quiet and private beach with all comforts. Great Sicilian breakfast delivered directly to your apartment every morning. The staff are very friendly, always available for help and recommendations,

Perhaps in the kitchen it would be great to have some instant coffee (there's already tea) and a bigger knife for bread. Otherwise we wish we stayed for longer.

A very beautiful location, on the beach. We stayed in a maisonette and it was very comfortable, the living space and a little kitchen- on the first floor and the bedroom upstairs, in the loft. Each room has a little private garden, with a table and long chairs. Very clean. Breakfast was brought every morning and we enjoyed it in the garden: coffee, croissants, yogurt, juice, butter. The staff was very helpful and nice. Loved it and we highly recommend it!

All perfect! A car is needed to go to Sciacca, even if we walked also a couple of times.

We loved the beachfront location and having our own lounge and umbrella was exactly what we wanted. The swimming coves were gorgeous and the water so clear .(even though very crisp in late September) Hosts were very attentive and looked after us every day. Need a car.

I didn't like to have to walk down lots of stairs to go to the bathroom several times a night. I thought id booked a room with bathroom nearby.

The host contacted me to get an estimated time of arrival. Communication was fast and easy. There's a private parking and the guests get a remote control for the gate. It's right next to the beach, and the host can provide a parasol. Beach towels are provided. A delicious breakfast is served every morning on the terrace. There's a booklet in the appartment with information about the region, and Emanuela is always there to help with reservations and other info. There's a vending machine for hot and cold drinks, 24/7, and a very beautiful central garden with comfortable chairs.

The hosts do their best to keep their part of the beach clean, but don't wander to far off or you will stumble on some litter ( so stay close to the tonnara ;) ). And a general comment : when driving on secondary roads, watch out for the potholes: most of the time there's a warning sign, but not always... (

From the moment we arrived and Manuela and her staff met us at the secure car park and helped carry our luggage, the entire stay was an absolute pleasure. So much thought has gone into making everything perfect. The room (we were able to extend our stay and got to experience both room types) was light, spacious, airy and spotless. A beach bag, slides and towels were supplied. At the beach club, chairs and umbrellas are numbered to match your room so yours is always available. They even employ their own lifeguard. Breakfast was fresh and comprehensive and delivered to the room every morning at your preferred time. In addition to each rooms private patios, there are communal areas throughout within the beautiful gardens. Comprehensive information about the resort, town, activities and surrounding areas in the room were very helpful.

The internet wasn’t lightening fast, but that’s more to do with the town than the resort - our 5g didn’t do any better.
