I had such a lovely stay at B&B Spiraglio. It’s perfectly located, safely tucked away, but just moments from all the fantastic shops, delicious restaurants and Forte Vigliera where you can sunbathe and swim in the beautifully clear, blue waters that surround Ortigia. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything you could need. And last but not least, Rita is an incredible host - so kind and helpful, and maker of the most delicious organic jams for breakfast! I really recommend B&B Spiraglio and hope to return one day soon. Breakfast is good and it is served on an outside patio with plants, and a balcony every day where the owner lives. There was a G7 going on the entire time we were there and parking was difficult so she came outside the city and followed us and found us a place to park. She was available to help with attractions and was very kind to us. The property was within walking distance to everything including the town of Syracruse. It was a beautiful island and the G7 was very interesting with people from all over the world talking about agriculture. The restaurants were good and a laundromat closeby with an attendant to watch your items too. The town is a must see and so was Syracuse.

As a result of the G7 parking was difficult and we drove around a long time trying to park but the owner helped us park.

Rita is a perfect host, her place is located in a beautiful spot. Rita is very helpful and provided us with fantastic breakfasts, I am coeliac and she made sure that I had lovely meals every morning. The room was clean with everything that we needed and Rita was always available to talk and provide information on restaurants etc.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

It's close the beaches and the Archimedes and Leonardo museum in Siracusa. Rita prepared an Ortigia/Siracusa guide book, which is very helpful. She also helped me with tourist questions. The place is in walking distance to everything (also because Ortigia is very small). The breakfast is good, there's always something homemade like jam, cake,... Rita's cat, Attia, is very handsome. However you shouldn't try to touch him at first sight. He's well-behaved but doesn't warm up to people quickly, which is totally normal. Just don't scare the poor boy :)

None. I'd stay here again if I ever come back to Siracusa.

The breakfast was amazing. Who can say no to chocolate cake for breakfast? Rita has it set up on the balcony, just go up and enjoy. The room was nice with aircon to cool down if needed.

Rita was very welcoming and there was a nice atmosphere in the cosy little property. Breakfast was simple but tasty and included a lot of homemade items. The room was cleaned everyday and the whole property was spotless.

Great location. Coffee, fresh croissants, homemade jams, yogurt and cereal - perfect for us. Rita was a lovely hostess and very helpful.

The room was a bit dated, but good space for 3 of us.
