Very lovely and helpful staff , easy communication and prompt. Clear information how to access the apartment . We have arrived earlier than the check-in time and asked if we can leave the bags and they even made the check in 2 h earlier for us . Great location , right in the heart of Ortigia , and for those who would travel by car you can leave the car in a nearby parking, approx to a 10 min walk from the car park .The apartment was very clean and cosy , in the lobby it smelled like in a spa . One of the best customer service experiences I ever had , for sure everyone went above and beyond to make our stay the best . Thank you all, definitely recommend this place !

Location was great, in the close vincinity of main squares, there are two parkings close by. The host was very helpful, always at our disposal for any queries and assistances. Breakfast was very nice, real Sicilian pastry, and the locationz of breafast were on main squares, so you can enjoying the view first thing in the morning. We will come back.

Perfect location in the centre of Ortigia. Amazing and super fast communication from staff over whatsapp and lovely cleaning team. Rooms were cleaned perfectly every day.

Breakfast vouchers were kindly provided in the rooms for breakfast at a local cafe. We weren’t too keen on the options there so we decided to try different cafes every day for breakfast. Lots of lovely places dotted around so this was no issue!

The room is very comfy and tastefully decorated. Everything is clean and new. We even got a room service during our 2 days stay which I do not consider to be normal for places obtained via booking. Some people complained about neghbours cooking downstairs but it involved only the window in the bathroom which we closed and then everything was calm again. Small fridge with watter that was refilled the next days was a big plus. Also possibility to make a tea and wine opener vere nice little necessities that we enjoyed. The breakfast was provided in one of the caffes at the main square and seemed to me like an averadge sicilian breakfast - a coffe, croissant and juice (not fresh though). But the view is stunning! We enjoyed our stay at Calamurn very much and I will not hesitate to book here again if I would be about to return. :) PS: I totally loved the fish decoration!

One of the few places in Italy where was not even a mini coffee machine included which seemed odd and it would be really nice to enjoy a morning view with a cup of coffee. But consider this remark as a suggestion not a critisizm. The breakfast was provided.

The property is right in the heart of Ortigia and is an absolute gem. The room was beautifully styled and so comfortable and there was even a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge and a welcome note. The hosts were so helpful especially when my bikini fell off the drying rack into another property’s courtyard. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend.

Amazing hosts, great contact even though they aren’t physically present at the apartment. The location was fantastic & breakfast at the Cafe in the square each day was nice. The rooms have been decorated to an excellent standard & are beautiful. The moment you step into the Calamurn apartments it is completely tranquil. I loved the personal touches which made it feel cosy and welcoming!

My only tiny criticism is that the doors to each apartment close quite abruptly meaning sometimes you are disturbed by other guests entering and leaving, in particular the guests in the standard room when they are using their bathroom as it is located opposite the room we stayed in. But, not really fault of the owners and didn’t affect us too much.

Perfect location in the heart of Ortigia Island, which let you visit everything by foot. Next to the nicest bars and restaurants but still very quiet. Loved the decoration which made me feel at home. I even chose to book one additional night last minute. The staff is very helpful and flexible, in order to make your stay unforgivable. Very nice breakfast with a café with best view on the Duomo piazza. I would definitely recommend this place, If you visit Siracusa ☺️

Perfectly located in the heart of Ortigia, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and modern fixtures and fittings (great lighting etc) despite being in a beautiful old building. We had great service from our hosts who were very helpful with tips and advice. Very easy check in/check out. Nice touches with a room fridge stocked with water each day and a free bottle of wine. Also, daily cleaning which is very nice but I wouldn't necessarily expect.

Very minor things. The breakfast cafe is incredibly located - opposite the duomo, but the breakfast choice a little strange - we only used the free token on one of the three days. Would be good if there was a safe in the room and maybe a couple more plug sockets or USB ports.

The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were travelling as 2 couples staying in 2 rooms. The location was close to everything but very quiet situated on a narrow side street. The lady that serviced our rooms each day was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was fitted although not required during our stay. We would certainly recommend

If I had one criticism, and this is beyond the control of the owners of Calamùrn, it was that the staff at the restaurant providing the breakfast could have been better. Gran Caffe del Duomo is in a fabulous location. However, we all felt that once we had identified ourselves as using breakfast vouchers we became second class customers. The service was haphazard, bordering on rude. We used the vouchers for the first two days and didn't go again. I would not go there again. However, I must stress, this is not the fault of the Calamúrn staff

Great location, short walk from everything on ortigia. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very nice and staff very friendly and friendly. Left a bottle of wine for us on arrival.

The room is located up two flights of stairs and there is no lift that we could see. Something to bare in mind if elderly or otherwise abled. It can be quite loud at times from street noise, as italians tend to be out quite late. It can also be quite noisy at times from other guests, which you can hear coming and going
