Arrived at Hotel Casa Mia and was impressed with the beauty of this hotel. It was a family home in an important area (the main street) and is decorated with the owner's furnishings/decor. The lift worked my first day, which was helpful at check-in. It is a short walk to restaurants and shopping - any many of the cities main sites. I started my day with a lovely breakfast and very attentive staff! It is possible to walk to/from the Bus or train station without a problem!

While the Hotel is lovely, I continued to have problems with the WiFi all during my stay. Only by moving upstairs to the reception area or the outdoor roof, was I able to use the computer. Unfortunately, I missed a business meeting because of this! Staff did attempt to resolve the issue; so hopefully, this will not be a problem in the future. And while Casa Mia is lovely ... my twin bed and pillows were Terrible :o(

First of all, the staff were amazing. Since there were fewer guests, they upgraded me to a more comfortable room. The room itself had a vintage vibe; while the furnishings looked a bit old, they were not dirty. The location is excellent—very close to both Ortygia Island and the Archaeological Park.

The room didn’t have a desk, and there was no common area, which made it quite challenging to use my laptop. Additionally, the reception closed a bit early (at least during winter).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room has everything clean, and the hotel has a good living room/courtyard. Breakfast was very good. And I like all the antique furniture in the place with good quality beds. I think this is a great hotel option close enough to the train station.

Our room has good-sized windows, but there is a walkway right next to it, and another guest could peek into our room if we open the window. For privacy reasons, we had to close the windows. And a little bit of repair and care would make this place great.

The property is well located between Ortigia and public transports bus and train stations, perfect for solo travellers who do not have a car to visit the area around Siracusa. Rooms are spacious and well equipped you have everything you need (although I would warn travellers to bring some extra plugs to charge devices in advance); wifi worked perfectly on the ground-floor were my room was located; the staff is professional and the atmosphere is quite relaxed

I stayed for one night at this charming hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The building had the character of an old Italian structure, which added so much charm and authenticity to my stay. Despite the historic feel, everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent, close to all the sights, making it easy to explore. Overall, it’s a perfect place to stay while in Siracusa, and I’d love to come back!

Hotel is in a great location, right next to excellent bakeries and a short walk to Ortegia. Also walkable to the Siracusa Archeological site. The rooms were large and clean. The building and rooms are old, but in a charming way. Reception was very helpful and welcoming.

Note: Booking.com inaccurately states that there is parking included! You can use street parking if you can find it, or there is a nearby surface parking lot for 15 euro/day.

A charming small hotel with a lot of character. A great location with only a short walk to Ortigia Island. The room was comfortable and clean although we couldn't get the aircon working. There is no parking but we were lucky to find a parking space right outside the hotel. Parking is free between 8pm and 9am, and cost us 3 euros between 4pm and 8pm. The area feels very safe and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

We absolutely adored this charming hotel. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere- to the theater, Ortigia, the museum, market , and restaurants. We parked our car right around the corner and didn’t use it for two days. The room was small but comfortable and doors opened up onto the terrace. A happy surprise was just how quiet it was at night. We expected traffic and street noise but it was silent for a great nights sleep.

We loved this small hotel, it was within easy walking distance for train station and the Island of Ortiga. It was great to find it had an inner courtyard which our room opened out onto. For a few euros more the breakfast was very good. We were grateful for the lovely receptionist who helped us with a small problem we had and we were also able to extend our stay for another night.

It wasn’t a problem for us at all but the bathroom was a little jaded.

This place is a little gem in the busy holiday Syracuze, so I shouldn't be really telling anyone about it but then here we are! I want to thank the staff for being brilliantly attentive and responsive to all our needs, also the lady I never spoke to, who served us a wonderful breakfast every day. This was all on the honey side of life:)

I love it all, who needs perfection if you can have that incredible hospitality!
