The triple room with a huge terrace was very beautiful. The breakfast was okay but the pie wasn't good enough. The staff was very kind. At the restaurant you had limited choices but it was overall fine, we liked the Maccaroni with Ragu and Rosemary. Pet friendly.

If you travel with a dog and get the triple room ants may appear. Otherwise everything was okay.

Incredible views over the lake! We had an amazing top floor family room in the newer building next to the original hotel. It was huge, 2 single beds and a large king-size. Also the best bit was the large terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs. 2 good sized pools, these werent heated but we chose to swim in the lake instead. Superb breakfast included in our room tariff. We had 2 evening meals at the hotel and each meal was delicious. My husband and I had drinks in the bar several times and had complimentary olives, crisps and nuts. Friendly, helpful staff. A nice stroll in to Sirmione centre which had the best ice cream! We loved being able to go for a swim every morning from the private jetty.

Beautiful location, the views from the room took my breath away, we could see either side of the lake out of two of the windows. Really nice pools, good temperature, comfy sunbeds, good access to the lake. Excellent location to get where you need to go. Restaurant was delicious for dinner. Good value drinks. Well decorated room very homely and cosy. Clean. Friendly staff

The breakfast selection wasn't the best but normal continental European breakfast (not British). Unable to get taxi to train station, just to be aware (we got the bus okay).

We love their room, its cleanliness, the view of the surroundings, and most especially the wide variety of options during breakfast. I always looked forward to breakfast while we were here.

Not having an elevator and not having a water boiler and a few utensils inside the room for coffee or tea. Overall, if you don’t have many luggages and you’re not into tea or coffee, this place offers more than what you pay for. We love it overall and will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

We got a lovely upgrade to our room and ended up with a double suite on the top floor of the old house. It was beautiful. Friendly welcoming staff, the place was spotless and the food fabulous. I wish we had gone when it was warmer so that we could've used one of the 2 pools! Next time! Perfect location and plenty of parking. It's a good 25ish minutes stroll to the old town centre.

If I was being really picky it might have been nice to have a mini bar or tea / coffee making facilities in the room but the restaurant onsite did great coffee anyway so it's not a great loss.

Wardrobe was broken with a sign saying don't touch lol, so nowhere to hang clothes or safe ( if there was one?) Slightly longer walk to the centre than we anticipated about 30 mins but it was so pleasant a walk you didn't mind

Villa Pioppi is an excellent boutique hotel with an attached restaurant. The staff takes special care of the property and the hotel's amenities. The setting of the hotel was absolutely stunning with the perfectly maintained pools and right on the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend! Very easy walk to all that Sirmione has to offer. Easy 15 minute drive to train station and plenty of free parking for your rental car.

Please keep in mind that the building is old and there will be some flaws created over time, such as leaking rain water during heavy rains, but staff was more than ready to assist with cleanup. I would also recommend trying to get the booking package that includes breakfast. 13 Euro a day, per person was a little steep. But, it was delicious with plenty of options.

Exceptional hotel set in a beautiful old renovated building. It also has a modern addition which is separate from the old building. But one can see that great care was taken when this property was converted in a hotel. Great location in the city of Sirmione, outside the historic centre but close enough. The hotel has large private grounds, and therefore very tranquil and relaxing. Stunning view of Lake Garda, and hotel is also surrounded by lush greenery. Our room was in the new section, with modern design and comforts. We had a room for 3 and it was huge.. it had a private entrance, a large terrace, and a very comfortable bathroom with a large shower. I also liked that we could regulate the room temperature rather than having central heating. Private car park with plenty of parking. The pool area is beautiful, right on the edge of the lake, where one can enjoy the sunset. A restaurant is also available on site and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The buffet breakfast is truly good with a generous choice of both savoury and sweet items. One evening we also enjoyed an exceptionally good meal with very reasonable prices. I would also add this hotel is probably great and very safe for families. My 5 year old really enjoyed herself, especially watching the ducks and various other birds that often landed in the property. All in all, exceptionally good value for money.. it exceeded my expectations by quite a lot

There's nothing I disliked - it was perfect in everything. I do have one suggestion - it would be nice if the fridges in the rooms are stocked with drinks, even just water. Since I travel a lot, I appreciate finding drinks available in the room rather than having to get my own drinks

We were given an excellent family room just next to the pool with amazing views of the lake in front of us. Room was very spacious with two single beds for the kids and a large bed. Breakfast was good and abundant and staff was very friendly and helpful in serving us our morning coffee. Outdoor area next to the lake was amazing but best enjoyed during spring most likely! Hotel and our room was very clean! Amazing experience!
