Travel is a step into the unknown... it may mean missing a train, taking the wrong one, finding that all the shops are closed when you get to your destination thirsty... But make no mistake, this place is a haven of peace in a bustling sea of people and lovely sights. If you are lucky enough to find a vacancy, you will have a wonderful host who will greet you like family and make you feel welcome no matter how tired and bad-humoured you may get here. Il Siculo had a quiet and very clean room for us, far from the noise of the crowds, but so close to the trains and buses. I feel we owe Angela our best impression of Italy in 20 years. This was a stellar accommodation, decorated in good taste, updated and well-thought. Seamless communication will make your stay here even better than you think it may be.

Perfect place to stay in Sorrento. Very close to the bus/train station and just a 6/7 minute walk to the center. We stayed here for 8 nights and didn't want to leave. The room is new, very comfortable, quiet and extremely clean. Amazing shower. They clean the rooms everyday which was wonderful and give you new water and coffee/tea. Angela was a very nice host. She met us at the BnB when we arrived and gave us a map and lots of good advice for getting around the city. I would 100% stay here again! Sorrento in amazing as well!

- The property is very close to the train station, it was around a 5-10 minute walk - The staff were very friendly and responsive to messages. We had an issue with our air conditioning not working, and the staff sought to quickly fix the issue - The property is in a central spot, you can easily walk to the town and the ferry dock from this property - We had booked two rooms, with only one room having a balcony, but they upgraded the second room to a balcony room, which was great - We felt the rooms were very safe and secure - This property is really good value for money, we felt comfortable coming back to the rooms after long days at different places around Sorrento

- A small feedback we would have is sometimes after cleaning, our possessions would be moved around the room into different spots - this made it sometimes difficult to find things. Other than this, cleaning was great - thanks!

Great location .. 5 mins from the train station and 10 minutes from town . It’s also across from an amazing Italian steak house ( def recommend) . The room had a decent terrace with a table and 2 chairs . The woman who meet us was really nice and very accommodating. We were also allowed to leave our bags there the following day when we checked out which was great 😊

The AC wasn’t very good . It worked just didn’t go down as low as we would have like .

Apartment was in a great spot, very quiet and about 10 minute walk to the main tourist part of Sorrento area. Very close to the train station if you arrive by train. Valeria our contact was extremely helpful and was able to organise a great driver for an Amalfi tour. The apartment itself is very spacious, modern and comfortable. the washing machine was a blessing as we were on an extended holiday. Good value for money - Highly recommended

A second keycard for the apartment would have been handy to allow one person to go out while the other was resting / sleeping.

The property met our needs and was clean, good sized, close to amenities. The staff were attentive in cleaning and when we returned they offered to accommodate us. They were very friendly.

The property is a 10 minute walk to the main square. Our check in at 8:00 was accommodated and we were given instructions and recommendations for places to eat in the area.

The host!!! Angels was such a responsive host . Couldn’t meet her but she answered to all my queries immediately. Train station just a minute walk . Nice breakfast place just below . We had breakfast there daily . Nice clean modern apartment- ideal for a family of four.

If only breakfast could be included. I hate to cook and had to walk to breakfast every morning

Angela and Roby were very communicative with us before we arrived and throughout our stay! We visited Sorrento to celebrate our anniversary and they helped make it extra special for us! The location was within walking distance to the train and other fun parts around town. Everything was clean and cozy, and we really enjoyed having a balcony to enjoy a morning cup of coffee!

It took us a while to learn how to use the coffee machine in the room.

Il Siculo is in a great location, close to the train station in Sorrento, which was great as we arrived by train from Naples and could walk easily walk to the accomodation. The room was clean and well-appointed, beautiful bathroom. We had great communication with Angela and Valeria who were very helpful.

Very little to dislike, a great stay. We were provided with one key card for our room which was tricky when we weren’t going out together at the same time, all the time.

Location is great. Close to the train station and town center.

The bed was hard and the pillows were also flat and hard - not comfortable. Our room backed onto a kids school which meant hearing the kids early in the morning during the weekdays.
