Maison Blanche was beautiful with a spectacular ocean view! The house is very lovely and the hosts were extremely friendly, warm and helpful. They went above and beyond in every way to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay. Breakfast was really fantastic with so many options and everything was fresh, homemade and delicious. We enjoyed it so much!

Not really a negative but the house isn't near other restaurants, hotels or shops, so just be aware that you will need transportation. The house is about half way between beach and town which really was perfect, but you need to take taxis, the bus which stops right near house, or walk. We did a lot of walking the first day but then discovered how easy the bus was to take up or down the hill. It was actually quite nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the town.

The thing I liked best were the host and hostess! They were so kind and friendly and generous. The breakfasts there were extraordinary - I could never eat all the food that was prepared for me! The view from my room was spectacular - I actually had two balconies off the two sides of my corner room. One view was of Mt. Etna and the upper part of Taormina. The other view was off the sea and the little island down in Lower Taormina. The wrap-around balcony was enormous with deck chairs on it and I just wanted to sit in them all day and enjoy the sunshine and the views. But I also walked down into Lower Taormina and then took the tram up to Upper Taormina. The hotel/home is well-located (for me) in between upper and lower Taormina, and I also hiked up the hill (though that was hot and sweaty) into the town to explore the streets, the Greek theatre and to enjoy the delicious food. The host and hostess also helped me with booking a tour of Etna one day; and they came to welcome me when I arrived and to see me off when I left. They were like family! This stay ranks as one of the best places I've stayed in my life....and that's saying something!

To get to the upper town you have to go up steep crumbling steps. A problem if you want a drink with dinner!

We felt very welcome, rather as guests than paying customers. Giovanna is a fantastic host, her staff at breakfast and at room is very cordial as well. Breakfast was according to personal wishes, no lack of anything. View is great, our terrace had comfy lounge furniture, both to sit and lay down. Plenty of space in the room with a walk-in wardrobe, bathroom plenty of space and with window and daylight. The room has proper electrical blinds to keep it dark if you want to have a lie-in. On the other hand, you can bring a tripod and take a nice sunrise video (I took a great time lapse sunrise from 5:45 to 6:00, then went back inside, closed the blinds and went back to bed again). Giovanna‘s restaurant recommendations were very good and she made reservations, which made the stay even more comfortable. Taormina is a 15 minutes‘ walk uphill, take your phone or a torch for the way back on the steps in the dark. Parking for our rental SUV was included, cars were shifted around as required, no issues at all. We highly recommend this place and thank Giovanna for her hospitality. Thanks as well that I could bid your cute puppy Bart farewell on the day of checking out 😊

The B&B is family run & they do a brilliant job. Giovanni offers help with everything! If you want a beach club, restaurant or taxi booking, she knows who's the best & will book it all up for you. Breakfast is fresh every day and they don't want you to leave hungry! Francesco is a magician with a fried egg!! The rooms are large & well appointed with exceptional views if positioned to the front. Our safe was broken upon arrival but was fixed quickly & with very little fuss. The bus picked up & dropped off right outside the property & is only €1.50 per person into the town. The beautiful boxer dog was a bonus!! 😍

If the pool was bought back into use, this would be a 100% score without a doubt.

We stayed at Maison Blanche for our Valentines weekend! Gio welcomed us on arrival and provided us with a map with recommended restaurants and attractions, nothing was too much trouble. She strived to make our stay a pleasant experience. All staff are very helpful and accommodating, breakfast was exceptional with a variety of food… I could’ve hibernated afterwards! The room was nice and clean with an amazing views looking out to sea. Would highly recommend! If we returned, this would be our first choice!

literally I love everything from the property, from the owner to the house. She and her husband was super nice! They provided us with super good service since I booked the hotel, helped me with every question from how to get to her place with detailed explanation to the recommendations of the local place ( Taormina) , the restaurant and beaches they recommended are just a joy for me to stay here. Plus, a complete tasty meal of breakfast was prepared by them every morning and for sure thing, they cook the egg at a genius level!!! They also upgraded my room to the top floor which granted me more joy from the stay, sitting outside in balcony , having a sun bath is just the best thing to do in Taormina!!! Other than the lovely owners, the property is just super safe and comfortable place to stay in, it is a nice sea viewing place sitting in the middle of mountain which only takes around 5 minutes drive from the train station. The location is just perfect, only 15 minutes walk to get to the town, other than this place, where can you get this super convenient hotel? If I come again to Taormina, I will definitely choose to stay here again! Sure thing I would recommend to all of my friend!!! because is just too lovely to stay here!

The view was excellent! The room was clean and very comfortable. The owner was so very helpful and pleasant. She met us as soon as we got out of the taxi. She shared a map of Taormina and suggested transportation and restaurants. We went to two of them, and they were both very good. The suggestion for a bakery for a cannoli was almost very good! Any time we texted her with a question, she responded right away. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The place is decorated very tastefully. We hated to leave! We will return!

Everything was wonderful!

The property is exceptional and in a great location for the town and beach. The room was large and very well equipped. The owners were very welcoming and attentive, providing restaurant suggestions and places to visit. Breakfast was also excellent. The parking was good and secure. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Wonderful property, majestic vies and incredibly helpful team. Maison Blanche is a family owned and run property about 3 quarters of the way from Taormina Beach to the Taormina Centre. It is an approximately 20 minute walk from the Hotel to the Centre of Taormina, with relatively easy steps. In particular returning at night with the lights over the Hill to the Beach adds another element of splendour. If you are less mobile, you can get a taxi or bus to and from the Hotel. Giovanna wil also organise a shuttle to the Beach. Candidly I think it is much better staying in this area than in the centre of Taormina, which can get very noisy. The personalised service from your Host and all her team, the phenomenal breakfast, the large wonderfully appointed rooms with large private balconies and have I mentioned those views make this the best place to stay in Taormina
