The hotel is located on a hillside with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the lovely view. I believe all the rooms do, but you may want to confirm that if you decide to book. The facilities are charmingly decorated in an Austrian style. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Absolutely do try the cookies that she bakes they are fantastic. The walk down to town and the lake takes about 10 to 15 minutes…right to the shore…but I’m slow. The walk up was tougher, but it was really hot and I was sick (with a very bad chest cold caught in Salzburg) yet still doable. If you have a car you could easily just drive down and park. The couple that owns the hotel and farm are lovely, the wife does speak English too.

The hotel is in the historic centre of Chiusa, and while renovated, they maintained many parts of the old building. The breakfast was simply amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant which was also super good.

I remembered from the Booking ad that they had private parking but in the end we had to park at the city open parking lot, quite closeby, for 5 eur per day. We never had an issue finding a spot though (August). They had a mobile aircon from which a tube had to be hung out of the window, meaning you could only use the aircon with an open window. And then from the outside of the building you can see tubes hanging from windows. Not the most efficient solution, but I assume they had an issue setting up proper aircons?

Modern, Stylish, minimalist, and well-designed, I am in love with hotels. The staff is very kind and friendly. The room was very clean and big, and it was in a great location in the old town of Klausen. The breakfast is phenomenal, with beautiful and varied choices. There is a playground next to the hotel; my daughter loved it. It is very recommended. It is sure if we have here again, I would book again. There is a car garage on the reservation. Very private and safe.

A beautiful hotel located in a quiet village approximately 27 minute drive by car to Ortessi to visit Alpe de Suiss and Seceda. The breakfast was amazing and a perfect way to start a busy day hiking. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was really good. If you are happy to stay in a quiet town I would recommend a stay here, it is definitely value for money as the standard of the room was excellent. It is very quaint and nice to wander round. We would definitely return.

We felt like in a 4-5 stars hotel and we've been in a lot of hotels, both for business and for pleasure. It's a family business, run by owners, which are great hosts and very kind. We spent one week for skiing (2 adults and 2 boys). Great breakfast, great rooms (big, comfortable, clean, nice bathrooms), great restaurant to eat in the evening (we were 2 families with 4 kids). There was nothing to complain about. The only disadvantage was that the restaurant is closed Mondays and we had to go eat somewhere else :)). Congratulations to the owners!

Located in the heart of historic Chiusa, this hotel is a gem that perfectly blends charm and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the host and staff made our stay memorable. The in-house restaurant offers exquisite dishes that tantalize the taste buds, while the breakfast, with its exceptional spread, was the perfect start to our days. Highly recommend for a genuine Chiusa experience.

However, a note of caution for future guests: the staff takes Tuesdays off, which means the restaurant is also closed. Unfortunately, we weren't informed of this at the time of booking. Given Chiusa's quaint size, finding alternative dining options on that day can be a challenge. Ensure you're aware of this schedule if you plan to dine in.

Our apartment was stunning, great attention to detail. The building had a lot of history and was very interesting. Perfect location and the parking was great. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner was the best pizza and apple strudel I have ever had. Most of the staff were lovely and helpful.

The older man who checked us in was quite unpleasant. There was no communication before we arrived. The directions to parking are the same as the hotel address so we accidentally entered the ZTL zone. A short email after booking about arrival procedures is fairly standard and information about how to enter the town would have helped. This would have made our lovely stay perfect.

Very good breakfast. It starts at 7 am - really benefits the travelers who need an early start. Good location. Just follow the brick pathway in front of the Bahnhof. It's better than the route google shows you.

room is too small. AC uses a pipe that requires the window to be open Rate is too high Restaurant is very expensive. The town does not seem very interesting. Supermarket is smaller than a convenient store

This is a beautiful hotel with artistic touches throughout. We stayed in the annex portion and it was very large and quiet. We loved the entire property including the expansive, modern dining area and the playground outside for our son. The breakfast buffet had everything we could want. We highly recommend this hotel!

It was a little warm at night. While fans helped, the only bedding was the heavy duvets.

Arrived very late and hungry. I asked the staff if there is any place I can get some food but unfortunately nothing was open. They were very kind and made me a toast even after their shift. Thank you again! The place was cozy, it felt like home. And the breakfast made me smile every morning. I also got a card that allowed me to hop on a bus and travel (South Tyrol) completely free of charge.
