The location is really nice. It is close to the highway, convenient for stopping after a long trip. But it also out of the way, in an area with very little traffic, and with a great view from the room balcony The building is renovated, but it maintains its traditional flavor, and I really liked it. No problem to find parking place. Breakfast was very good, and the jam is superb. It tastes and looks like it is home made. Do not know if it is though, did not ask.

Not much, really. The only thing was that the apartment furniture looked oldish, but it is not a big issue.

A gem of a hotel in the South Tirol. We stayed for 1 night enroute back from Italy but still managed to fit in a cable car ride to the top of Monte Cavollo. Excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Lovely local red wine and beers. Stunning views across the valley and a safe 15 min walk down to the cable car.

Nothing, all good

Due to bad weather at our final destination we decided last minute to stay overnight at hotel Schaurhof. We were met by helpful staff, had nice dinner in hotel restaurant. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Perhaps the cargo trains passing early in the morning.

Absolutely amazing hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Everything was excellent. The location is great, the hotel is quiet and clean. I’ve never felt so comfortable anywhere else. Plus they have the best restaurant in the area. I definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel was nice and clean with the facilities. Its a family hotel.. good for children.

Sincerely The morning coffee was not good. I was expecting the traditional coffee but it was just mixture of coffee water to add hot milk.

Lovely chalet in nice settings. We had lunch, drinks, dinner and breakfast and enjoyed it all. The room and the beds were comfortable. Lovely staff.

We enjoyed a lot our stay here: we had a very spatious room and we were also planning using the pool outside but it rained the evening we were there. The stuff was very helpfull and nice. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with traditional sudtyrolese dishes recommended by the hosts. The food was delicious. But if you plan on leaving before 7:30am (which is their breakfast time) you will not get anything to go as other places tend to offer you.

We left before 7:30am (which is their starting time for serving breakfast) and as reception is unattended at that hour we had nowhere to take an espresso before leaving.

- squeaky wooden staircase - the room might feel a bit cold to some people (mid September it was not heated)

Excellent hotel: large family room, great two playrooms for children, lovely dining. We have been loving it and will surely come next year again.
