Hotel Lamm's location literally cannot be beat - the old town is right on your doorstep and you're immediately in the thick of it. It is a very quaint accommodation that has its own restaurant attached, with rooms in both the main building and back building. We had a spacious double in the back building, which came with a very comfortable bed, desk, two chairs, a small loveseat, and a large bathroom with amenities. Breakfast was included in the rate, which was most appreciated. Shops, restaurants, bars, and a large square are seconds away by foot, and the train station is about a ten-minute walk away.

A building site was right next door, meaning construction work was being done during the day. It wrapped up by evening so that we could sleep without issue. But work resumed at 7 AM the next day, which unfortunately woke us up. However, the hotel gave us a heads-up beforehand, so our expectations were met well.

Internet access - I cannot complain too much as worked, however it requires re-login several times a day and does not allow to use business VPN (but finally I was on vacations ;-))

The hotel is located on the main street in the old town center which is very attractive and restricted for pedestrians use. The room was of good size and well appointed. Wifi was good. Parking is available immediately behind the hotel which is convenient once you know how to find it!

The hotel has two distinct sections being the older building on the main street and a separate building about 30m behind on the rear lane. It could be clearer when booking which building your room is in. We were in the rear building which was good apart from the noise of early morning waste collection and adjacent construction. The hotel is also used by bus tours so breakfast can be crowded but independent travelers are separately seated.

The hotel was a very good value for money (we opted for the half board) and the location was excellent (not too far from the highway and yet at the city centre). The meals were very good and the staff mostly extremely kind. The room was very big, had a nice mountain view, and clean.

The parking, which is a big plus in the city, was a bit cramped and we had to leave the keys at the reception (however, that was not a major issue). The room was in a detached facility of the hotel, so we had to walk some 30 meters outside to get to the dining hall (but again, also this was not a big issue).

The hotel had warned us that there would be building noise (and the room price reflected this) but there was also a lot of noise through the night. Exiting the underground car park is a challenge!

What a wonderful little hotel this is. Situated on the central street of Vipiteno meters from the old tower of twelve. We had a mountain view room and it was perfect. Very comfortable room and bed with comfy chairs on a balcony to gaze up at the hills. Lovely breakfast with super friendly staff.

This centrally-located yet peaceful hotel is a great base for excursions to the surroundings. Dedicated and professional staff offers South Tyrolean hospitality at its best. No need to leave the hotel to enjoy a good meal! On top of that, a new SPA for customers' enjoyment is under way!

Hotel is situated in the town centre. There is a parking place. The room we got,was large with a large bathroom and it was very clean and had all we wanted. The staff in the hotel was very professional but also extremely friendly and willing to make our stay even nicer and more comfortable. The food was excellent!! A rich breakfast buffet and delicious four- course-supper. Highly reccomended. We enjoyed our stay very much.

located conveniently in Sterzing / Vipiteno, we stayed here one night traveling through to southern Italy. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I was positively surprised by the size of the bathroom - very large for a hotel room! I definitely felt comfortable here. We chose to have a la carte dinner in the hotel restaurant - the dishes we ordered were delicious and nicely prepared. My friend and I had a great three course meal! Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of cold cuts, cheeses, cornflakes, breads and fresh fruit. Something for everyone to start their day. Omelette or eggs done your style were available upon request and were actively offered to us. The breakfast cappuccino was delicious! The hotel has its own underground car park, which was convenient and kept our car dry and out of the elements. check in/ checkout was quick and hassle free.

The rooms in my part of the building did not have good sound insulation - I could hear my neighbor talking loudly on the phone, doors slamming shut in the hallway and loud voices from other guests early in the morning (<7AM on a Saturday morning ) - this was a shame. The underground garage was convenient, but was also used for storage or various items for the hotel - this gave the garage a bit of an untidy appearance. The hotel should clean up and hide these items behind some kind of separator so that hotel guests do not see it.

The style was very peculiar! Loved the decoration and colors chosen for the hotel. It felt like another period of time.

Check out was at 10:30am the latest. There is no “do not disturb” sign to put on the door. The cleaning lady would just knock and immediately open the door or would just unlock the door before waiting for a response.
